Hmm...I don't know if I have a lot of thoughts since I don't work with him often even in sfw fics. But I'll try for you anon.
Because I'm currently obsessed with the nationverse au where omegas are actually highly valued I'm going to stick to that au.
Though he's highly valued, he's kept away from many people. Most of his family are alphas, he doesn't have many friends, so it's very isolating for a long period of time. But then alliances with other omega nations start to come up. Though forming friendships is still hard, he gets some advice for dealing with heats and the isolation of being kept away from dangers.
He gets given a greenhouse perhaps, to keep him happy. He wishes to see flowers even in winter and his bosses are kind enough to agree to it.
I like shipping Ivan with Thailand so all I can think of is their first time together during Ivan's heat. It's really sweet. Thai is very attentive, preparing many meals ahead of time to keep Ivan's nutrients up, keeping him hydrated and of course fucking him, but that's expected. It definitely was one of Ivan's more bearable heats.
Anyway, that's all I got sorry...

Okay I can understand where you’re coming from with the shipping when it comes to the p*do/lo*i/s*ota stuff, that’s disgusting, but you’re basically saying no shipping at this point for the jam games.
I can understand you’re uncomfortable/disgusted with In*est like ships (who wouldn’t be) but by technicalities every nation is related in some way, shape, or form and half were raised by others. Not everyone interprets the characters in the same way that you do. Some characters you may see as brothers/sisters/foster parents someone else might not.
Plus no relationship ever goes completely unproblematic, there’s of course a line at straight up do*estic v*olence and s*xual as*ualt, but you can’t really say no to problematic relationships as there’s always problems in relationships that can be considered problematic even if it’s something minor.
No Teacher-Student Relationships If your game is romantic or has romantic elements; ships must be between two consenting adults in a non-abusive, non-incestual relationship. Ask the judges if you’re unsure if your ship falls into this category.
No shipping of characters directly stated in canon to be siblings or ships in which one nation raised the other from childhood. (Ex. Veneziano and Romano, Norway and Iceland, America and England or Germany and Prussia.)
No Teacher-Student Relationships
No Ped*phillia or L*li/Sh*tac*n ships.
Which means you cannot portray incest (people hima specifically called out as related), pedophillia, loli/shota, teacher/student relationships or characters who raised other characters from childhood.
I never said no problematic ships, you could still have a relationship that was abuse of power in the dynamic if you wanted to create that “drama”, but I mostly said you cannot portray relationships set up in the show to be familial as romantic.
It’s not exactly a high bar to clear. It’s not about deep world built plots, its about the canonly developed relationships.
I can say no “problematic” ships if I want to. If I am not comfortable playing it then I can not comfortably allow it because it wouldn't be fair to the creators of the game because they would not be judged fairly.
It doesn’t have to be romantic either! Families, found family, friendships and platonic relationships all exist and deserve content too! Showing off family doesn’t mean it has to cross into that line. Romance isn’t the only driving force in the world.
There are tons of ships that are fine. Here. Have a list of examples:

How I feel about this character: I don’t feel too strongly about him, but I do enjoy some of the exploration of nation lore with him (like how they don’t really have a say in certain events) and I do enjoy the cutesy looking character saying the opposite of cute things.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: The only ship I feel strong about is RusThai thanks to a fangame creator and artist I follow. I also casually ship Rochu and I have seen some cute RusEng stuff as well.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Uh...Canada idk? Maybe China.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t know enough about popular characterizations but I will say this, I don’t like when people make his uwu innocent baby, but I also don’t like making him the villain (unless it is done well and the situation is morally complex)/completely evil.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Uh… I don’t know. Perhaps learn that his violent tendencies are not as normal as he thinks (because I’m pretty sure its canon/Hima said that he doesn’t realize how scary he is or that he’s hurting people).

I ship Russia and Thailand because In the past they were really close. Russia basically had a hand in saving Thailand from being colozinized by France and England. He scared them off. Russia and Thailand's leaders took a picture together showing their friendship which was basically saying "anyone who messes with Thailand messes with Russia." Russia was seen as a huge threat back then it worked. Russia and Thailand became closer. Their leaders even visited eachother wearing eachother's clothes.

Aha! She’s one of my best friends, ka, since she protected me from Khun France and Khun England (although we’re kinda lack of connection after that by political troubles).
But when the world comes better, she often visits my home, enjoy laying her back on my southern beaches. I can assume that Khun Russia is one of my top 5 visitors, ka.
