Holding ourselves accountable may be the most difficult task we can ever complete. We go through thousands of decisions everyday and it is likely that many of them are the more convenient route. The problem with the convenient route is that it allows us to be relaxed. We all have goals, aspirations, and dreams, yet day to day, minute to minute, second to second, we make decisions that do not help us achieve our fullest potential. 

We are currently in a state of pandemic, unknown, crisis, and unrest. Another quote comes to mind, not knowing it off hand in its entirety, here is the beginning, “These are the times that try men’s souls...” - Thomas Paine. These times will indefinitely try our souls. What we do in these moments of uncertainty and confinement will set us up for the next phases of what is going on. When this pandemic relaxes and we gain control over it, if we do, what will one look like on the other side? Will we accomplish anything during our downtime? Physically, mentally, and spiritually we have a great opportunity to grow and change beyond what we thought capable. It is these times of being the iron, going into the fire, and crafting something we didn’t think possible. 

These writings I’m putting forth will not be exact or follow a sequence. I will describe what I am doing, why I am doing it, and where I draw my drive from. Plagiarism is the highest form of flattery. I’m nothing special and what I will be talking about isn’t anything new. Hopefully I can not only give you a “nugget”, but also can turn you in the direction of those who have paved a way for exponential growth you never imagined. I’m going to use as much of this time as possible to develop my mind, body, and soul into something I never imagined. 

What if we all turned the tables on this time in history and forged ourselves into something we had only imagined in our dreams?
