I just wanna start by saying asolutely no hate no shade to your character by asking this! I'm just curious bout the possible dynamics! 🩶

1) With River, can we also be indifferent or even dislike them? like they don't even seem to look at the MC y'know 😭 and I know it's enemies to lovers, but will MC have to be the one constantly perusing River or will River also put in the effort?

2) Is this spoilers? I'm getting that vibe 😀 but how did these two even get married 😭 and why hasn't MC just left them? is that even an option? I'm unfamiliar with/never watched "Don't Worry, Darling" so if the answer is in that movie, sorry I've never watched it;;;;

1 -> at the end of the day, each homemaker has a duty to uphold. if MC chooses to act indifferent or even abrasive towards River, behind closed doors, then that's between them - just never forget a homemaker's purpose! yes, MC will have to do most pursuing, up until a certain point, due to the reasons for River's dislike for MC. after that, it's...complicated. River's route is a rocky one, but I think each romance is a little turbulent

2 -> how MC and River met: it was pouring one evening; MC stood outside, struggling to pop their umbrella open, leaving them completely soaked by the rain... until it stopped. a stranger - River - suddenly stood beside them with a black umbrella, shielding them both. they struck up a convo, clicked, and one thing led to another: they're married. as for why they haven't gotten a divorce: it's simply forbidden!

this is just the cutest, i enjoyed writing this! thanks for the request lovely, you’re adorable! 🩶🩶 also, i’m sorry for holding this off for so long and if this totally sucks and it’s not at all how you wanted it, i hope you enjoy it!

a comfortable silence fills the air - the only noise heard being the rumbling of the tires against the pavement, the occasional chit-chat in the trailer from behind and “fire and rain” by carole king and james taylor playing softly. “how’s it handle?” your voice breaks the silence first, though your eyes remain on the road ahead. “not half bad considering this is a house.” steve replies, sending a quick glance over to you before his eyes return to the road. you smile and nod your head, a soft “hmm” of acknowledgment leaving your lips. the corners of steve’s lips pull into a smile, his eyes shifting from the road to you a few times.

“yeah it’s… it’s silly, but i… i’ve actually um.. i always had this dream that i’d have this.. really big family.” your eyes trail over to look at steve as he speaks - his eyes remain on the road. “i’m talking like, uh, full brood of harringtons. like five.. six kids?” you almost laugh - amused by steve’s sudden confession. “six?” you blurt out, whipping your head to look at steve almost shocked. “yeah, six little nuggets. three girls, three boys..” steve trails off for a second, before he laughs. “and.. and every summer, i figured all of us harringtons we would pack into something like this and… just see the country. you know, the rockies, grand canyon.. maybe yellow stone. end up in some beachside town in california. spend a week parked in the sand.. learn how to surf or something..”

you smile, staring over at steve as he lays all this on you. you had no idea where this all came from, but you weren’t complaining.

“that sounds really nice.” you said after a few seconds and steve glances back over at you. “yeah?” his voice is tender when he speaks this time. “yeah…” there’s a long moment of just the two of you staring at each other with smiles, before you grin and look down into your lap. “well, except for the six kids part - that sounds like a total nightmare.” you say playfully, earning a chuckle from steve. in all honesty: it didn’t actually sound all that awful to you. you’d imagine with the right person, having so many kids would be nice. and the way steve described it, it gave you this warm feeling. especially after everything you steve and the other kids have been through.. thinking about having a big family in the future felt nice. didn’t seem so crazy to fantasize about the whole white picket fence, suburban neighborhood life - the whole package.

“if only i had some practice.” steve says, gesturing to the kids in the back, all too preoccupied in their own conversations. you nod your head and smile, lifting your hands in mock defense. “alright, fair. touché.” you say with a smile, and steve smiles right back at you. “that would be nice, though.. seriously, i mean.. settling down.” you started, looking down at your hands as you played with your finger tips. “it doesn’t sound like a nightmare.” you said, looking over at him to see he was already staring at you. all of a sudden something felt different about the way he was looking at you. it quickly crossed your mind what it would be like to spend the rest of your life with him. to have six kids and travel the world. it made you feel peaceful, and that feeling was refreshing.

after what felt like ages, steve finally looked back into the road ahead, and you did the same. you found yourself smiling so hard it was beginning to hurt your cheeks, but you didn’t care. you stared out the window and thought about everything steve had told you, listening to the soft rumble of the tires below. and for the first time in days you felt totally okay. you didn’t feel the pressure of what’s to come, to save the world. and you fantasized about the light at the end of the tunnel.

it was like the switch inside you that kept you anxious flicked off. and steve had flicked it off so easily.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Probably that he talks so little. I mean, a name like Echo you'd think he'd talk far more than he actually does. I don't think we've heard him repeat something someone says... literally ever in tbb series. Which is... disappointing. That and I'm still really bitter that there wasn't more emotional pay out with Rex when Rex is around. Like... idk... I'm going to be real honest bc I don't really have a filter today. Most of the time canon completely ignores his backstory and personality and it really irks me. Canon really mistreats him 90% of the time and for what? What reason is there to ignore him so much? This is why I love and write and read so much Echo centric fanfiction. It just gives me more of what I'm looking for tbh.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Genuinely I could not picture Echo in anything else solely because I love him in Star Wars so much. I just adore it. Ya know what I do think would be pretty cool though? Making it so Echo could meet Din Djarin. I think they'd have such a rocky start but Din would recognize that same type of stubborn indignation and exhaustion that he himself carries along with this steadfast passion for his loved ones and he'd be like... shit... he's kind of cool. I imagine Echo does a lot of reading and knows a lot about a lot of different topics and probably could info dump about what he knows about Mandalorians and their culture and he'd question a lot and bring excellent points and ask Din about his upbringing and Din would kind of love that this man talks a lot and he doesn't have to do much in the way of talking. Idk. I just love the idea of those two meeting. It would not go well at first bc Din has... trauma and unresolved issues that he's working through and Echo would wear this man down like you wouldn't believe. They'd bond over losing loved ones and having chosen families and Echo would like Din's jet pack he totally wants some sort of jet pack I just know it. Echo carves out space for himself and finds home everywhere he goes. Din wouldn't stand a chance against that kind of stubbornness.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Ooooooh boy so many. I have sooooo many. But! Look. I know everyone thinks Fives is the trouble maker of the two of them but I'm almost 100% sure it's Echo. Echo, who knows every rule like the back of his hand (and can sweet talk his way into the most ridiculous loophole you've ever seen) He got into a fistfight in one of the first episodes we've ever seen him in. He has a dry wit and permanent exhaustion and is dramatic and has Fives as a brother and was in the damn 501st so he knows chaos and he knows it well. Echo and Fives balanced each other out in a lot of ways but I'm almost certain that Echo got them into more scrapes than Fives every did (he's just really good at hiding that he was at fault.) Fives ended up taking the fall 9/10 and he got this reputation as the troublemaker, the outspoken one. Meanwhile Echo gets to have everyone underestimate him so he can very easily manipulate the situation to get them out of trouble when he has to.

İ absulty love your headcanons abaout guremahi family. But for some reason when i think abaout them as a family its always more dramatic/angsty (maybe because we didnt see them happy most of the time). Them gettin married or having family always gives me a melancholic vibe.

İ love guremahi angst in general they are tragic. Your headcanons are amazing tho 🩶.

I think that GureMahi would date for quite a bit of time before getting married. Of course, both parties have their flaws. Guren, being emotionally unavailable and Mahiru being an emotional wreck. (Not the best mix, but ooohhh the angst and drama makes me live for that) I do like some fluffy GureMahi, but I think it would be kind of rocky in the beginning since marriage is a huge commitment. Sure, they both love eachother; just have different ways of expressing it and going about it. GureMahi getting married, I imagine, would be like... both of them covered in blood sharing a kiss or something. Just, unusually grotesque if I'm talking about the main universe. Just, a bunch of corpses everywhere while they vow love to each other. Modern AU marriage would be happier.

An empire in the rough and boiling mountains. It's people are mighty and strong, but a bit brutal. Strength is valued above all, and those who wield it must make the choice to be benevolent or cruel. While the current emperor is seemingly kind to his citizens, those who defy him are met with an unending fury.

💙Liron(Kingdom of the Lion)💙

A kingdom in the snowy mountains. The royal family and nobles live lavish lives, unconcerned about their people who suffer in the cold. This has caused many to despise the country, and many flee for a better life. Those who stay must pursue chivalry and knighthood in order to live a comfortable life. Known for its cavalry and elven magic.

💛Phenlory(Theocracy of the Songbird)💛

A theocracy in the snowy tundra. Its citizens are devout and holy, though some of its people are more zealous and harmful than others. It's rulers even more so. They see the heroes of eld as divine, and anyone with relations to them are treated with the highest of respect. Small and not exactly strong, it relies on the strength of allies to stay safe. Known for its holy magic and pegasus riders.

💚Delka(Queendom of the Elk)💚

A kingdom in the deep forests and jungles. Seen as a safe haven for the Ainmhí, as they have bigoted foes. It's people live with a constant and unending peace, knowing very little about war. It's queen seems to be missing, which is concerning for a variety of reasons.

🩶Pakwil(Oligarchy of the Wolf)🩶

An oligarchy in the steppe. It's people are jolly and hardy, and often spend their time studying things like music, poetry or art. The country is very diverse and camaraderie is encouraged. Nobles ignore this concept, and are extremely divided. Even the head oligarch seems to have the diversity in not just the country's people, but the world's. 💜Nowtuol(Aristocracy of the Owl)💜

A country with beautiful plains and beaches. It's people are studious and knowledgeable. All kinds of magic are studied here, and many types of magic technology are created here. This means that, while their army is small, it's ray magical might and tactical knowledge makes them masters in the battlefield. If only the rulers cared enough to use their army for things.

🧡Ampherous(Kingdom of the Cobra)🧡

A kingdom in the sands. It's people tend to either be law abiding and patriotic, or sly and a bit rebellious. Merchants are common here, and are well protect by royal soldiers. They must be, as bandits appear much more frequently than other countries. Or at the very least, they're more organized. Long ago, the previous ruler of the country made some foolish deals, causing it to be cursed to attacked by a spectral army every decade or so. It's up to the current generation to protect then people now.

🖤Umbertala (Kingdom of the Raven)🖤

A dark kingdom in the dark, western swamps and forests. Its people are both mysterious and curious. Not many people travel in and out, but the few that do seek to learn all they can about the world. It's not that they aren't allowed to leave, but the people are already afraid to leave because of the countries dark monsters. It's rulers do it's best to serve the people, but don't reach out for help too often.

🤎Cerotia(Archduchy of the Bear)🤎

A newer country in the middle of the continents plains and forests. Wealthy and mighty, it's people come from all walks of life and fill the country with pride. Mercenaries and other warriors are common here, and they protect the country when the military can't. It's leader founded the Gilded Guardians, which is supposed to fiercely protect the people of the world, as well as unite people from every country.

🩷Taliver (Kingdom of the Salamander) 🩷

A kingdom with sands, cliffs and savannahs. It'd people are cheerful, but weary. The country faces rocky relations with it's neighbor, Ampherous, but have been trying to patch things up as of late. Bandits from Ampherous spill into the country, but it'd people are still cheerful and express themselves through dance and art, as well as spiritually.

🩵Scalborn (Kingdom of the Dragon)🩵

A kingdom composed entirely of a few islands. Its people, the Ollphéist, live here in relative peace, though they must defend themselves from humans,elves and ainmhís. They hide away on the islands, rarely heading on to the mainland, and they must be strong to avoid invasions. Though it seems a few people want to try peace with the mainland after all these wierd.

I FINISHED ALL MY ARCs!!!

*plays Rocky theme song*

I'm super proud of myself for getting through my ARCs this month. Totally doesn't matter that I had to DNF a handful of them; the point is that I GOT to them all and didn't panic.

This month felt like it lasted at least three months, so of course I had time to read 75 books. Please don't ask me how I do it because I honestly don't have an answer for you.

Highlights of the month you won't see here:

🩶The Kitsune Chronicles series by Lissa Kasey: I loved this interesting LGBTQ PNR with a fated mate pairing between an alpha wolf shifter and an omega kitsune mage. 🩶The Reckless Damned series by Lark Taylor: I got the first book in this series on a stuff-your-kindle day and when I read it I immediately plowed through the rest. 🩶Bye Baby (Flowershop Assassins, Book 1) by Louise Collins: This hit my rom com, cat-and-mouse button so hard. 🩶Rent: Paid in Full (Bad Decisions, Book 1) by Jesse H Reign: This was LGBTQ romance crack and I'm obsessed. 🩶Lust (Seven Deadly Sins, Book 1) by Sienna Moreau: Great world building, sexy af, interesting story! 🩶Knot Again by Lucy Scott Bryan: Triplet mates. Intense, HOT triplet mates. Yum. 🩶Accidental Bonds (Elemental Bonds, Book 1) by Marie Reynard: Spectacular LGBTQ PNR. I stayed up until 3:30 am reading this thing because I was so invested. It's a slow burn but the chemistry is so good. Great story!
