obviously there's no hard lines any which way on it but when it comes to artificial bodies i've always had in my head that dolls are for taking careful tender care of and playing their insides like an especially creative classical guitarist while robots are for smashing and pulling apart and using the convenience of modularity and replaceable parts to *just do whatever to that thing*

Sorry for always being very very hyper-aware of the fact the tsams characters are robots but wouldn't the idea of Lord Eclipse having more mechanical beliefs and traditions and such be so interesting?????
Like, I could imagine that whatever humans may be left adopting a very mekhanite idea about themselves. Because their lord is made of metal and wires and glass and gears, something surely must be wrong with them for being made of skin and veins and flesh and blood.
AND LIKE. We see in the video that Lord Eclipse has those giant gear platforms and what if there is more like that? What if there's always the sound of shifting and clicking gears or humming fans or whirring motors somewhere in the castle?
What if Eclipse is seen as an exceptional work of machinery because his processors don't make a sound? What if he's rewritten history to explain why robots--a man-made product--exist in the first place? LIKE ????
