Random question: do you have any headcanon ‘weight limits’ for how much weight the Bayboys can lift at a time? It is known that they are clearly above human strength, and the biggest weight ever lifted was 6,270 pounds 😱 plus that giant spear that the bay brothers had to catch in the first movie had to be a few thousand pounds easy.

For the rise boys, I imagine it would be something in the range of the following:

RiseRaph is, naturally, the strongest given his bigger size and more rigorous training schedule; he’s probably the only one that shows up for training on the regular, and probably recreationally as well. I imagine the largest general weight he could lift currently would be somewhere in the high hundreds, 800-900, but in terms of most weight he could hold for a temporary period (few seconds - a minute) would be in the middle thousands (1,300 - 1,500). When he gets to his full size it would probably go up a few hundred pounds.

Probably controversial, but I think RiseDonatello would be the next strongest after RiseRaphael. He is constantly working with heavy metals and tech all day, so his temporary lifting limit would be quite high, though general lifting might be a little on the lower scale. Donatello is the epitome of ‘work smarter, not harder’ so any time he gets, he extorts his brothers to lift for him, often by dramatically pretending something is too heavy when it is easily within his limits. General lifting for him would be anywhere between 400-600, but temporary lifting he could probably hold between 900 - 1000 pounds.

Next would be Rise Michelangelo, and he would be the opposite of rise Donnie; his general lifting would be quite high, while temporary lifting is quite low. If something is as simple as one pound over his general limit, then he’d get extremely tired extremely fast. His general lifting would be between 800-850, and maximum temporary lift would be less than 900. When he has his mystic strength, however, it would basically double!

RiseLeonardo… isnt built for lifting. He is a slider, and as such is built for speed, sprinting, and quick maneuvering that most his brothers can’t achieve. Both general and limited lifting are low on the scale, but exceed a normal human’s by a long shot. General lifting between 400-500 and limited lifting could be around 600.

Ohhhh I wanna see other Bay fans weigh in on this!

I actually see all the Bay boys capable of lifting 1,200 - with Mikey able to actually hold it for the longest - based on that scene in the first film when Shredder destroyed the tower and they start making a human chain where everyone is dangling from Mikey and he's hanging one armed from a support beam and grinning.

Now, for the purposes of our fic 'verse, that tension grip and raw strength might increase with the changes made to Mikey, and it will probably make Raph jealous.
