So I had speculated before that when Ingo was transported to Hisui, because they're two of the prizes that you can buy in any incarnation of the Battle Subway, it's not a stretch of the imagination to think that Ingo may have had a Razor Fang and Razor Claw on him. And if this is true, then it's entirely possible that he was the person responsible for Lady Sneasler becoming... Well... A Sneasler. If he was responsible for her evolution, it would certainly explain why Ingo was allowed to become a Warden in spite of being an outsider to the Pearl Clan when they seem to have a distrust of strangers.

But thinking about it... Actually... Maybe every Warden has a deep tie to their ward like that. We obviously see that Palina was at least partially responsible for Growlithe evolving into Lord Arcanine. (Without a Fire Stone to boot!) But it would also absolutely make sense that Lian would have dug up some Black Augurite which was later used to evolve Scyther into Lord Kleavor!

The more I think about it, really the more it kinda just feels right that maybe the Wardens were selected at least in part because they played a role in their wards evolving and fully taking on their roles as Noble/Ride Pokemon. It would certainly help to explain the more odd choices the clans have made in deciding who becomes a Warden. Sabi being the one to level Braviary up until it evolved would certainly explain her weirdly OP team! And Gaeric is obviously the kind of person who would have leveled up Lord Avalugg. Perhaps Wyrdeer and Basculegion were trying to protect Mai and Iscan respectively when they evolved. And maybe Calaba had been collecting peat for medicinal/ceremonial purposes under the light of a full moon. I don't know what Melli and Arezu would have done to get their wards to evolve... Lian clearly has an interest in rocks, so it only make sense for him to have dug up some Black Augurite, but that doesn't really feel like that would have been the case for Arezu finding a Sun Stone and Melli finding a Leaf Stone. There might be a story there, but I don't know what it would be. The best that I've got is that in Platinum, both can be found in the areas that were once the Crimson Mirelands, so maybe those are just areas where those stones exist in relative abundance and can be found? Who knows? Fun to think about though!

Ride pokemon: facts

Lady Sneasler: she would put toxins in the potato mochi that makes people go drunk for fun and the other ride pokemon (except Basculegion) would pound her ass for it

Ursaluna: can be ignorant sometimes. don't wake him up in his sleep

Braviary: nothing else to say about him other than the fact that he despises Sneasler more than anyone else would

Wyrdeer: he sometimes thinks that the other ride pokemon (except for Braviary) are stupid in some way. (does he know?)

Basculegion: he would go apeshit whenever he sees a Gyarados. also he barely cares about the 'Sneasler poisoning mochi' thing

In Pokemon Legends Arceus, there are five rideable Pokemon and five Noble Pokemon. Four of the five rideable Pokemon are evolutions of Pokemon that existed in previous games that received new evolutions in Legends Arceus while the last one is a regional variant, and four of the five noble Pokemon are regional variants while the fifth is a new evolution of an existing Pokemon.

Pretty cool that the Diamond clan members still use Pearl clan Ride Pokemon. I guess the only real barriers in that reguard are if you can play the flute and are deemed worthy enough by the Pokemon itself. (Sorry Adaman!)

Comic 1:

First panel, Ingo and Akari are standing together. Someone off-screen asks “oh, is that your dad?”. Akari has an awkward smile and replies “oh, no no. he’s my...” There’s a long pause as she looks at Ingo. He’s leaving it up to her. She finishes, “He’s my coworker... friend... guy.” In smaller font, she continues “yea. that.” Comic 2: A dramatic panel of Volo, looking pissed off, shouting “who are you to interfere?!!” Ingo tugs the brim of his cap lower. The upper half of his face is in shadow, while his eyes stand out. He looks threatening but has his expression is his characteristic neutral-frown, and he says “...I’m her coworker friend guy.”. In the final panel, Machoke is throwing an incredible amount of punches, a reference to Star Platinum from Jojo. Ingo is pointing with one hand, his battle pose. The background text reads, “What does that even mean??” Volo is experiencing off-screen violence.

Comic 3: The comic is titled “Reunion”. In the first panel, Ingo shows off Akari, with a faint smile on his face. She is labelled “best girl (assigned by god)”. He says, “Emmet, this is Akari, my coworker. She’s the reason I was able to return to this station.” In smaller font, Akari comments to herself, “ooh... so this is the man in white.”

In the second panel, in smaller font Ingo notes “I think I remember now...” He says, “Akari, this is Emmet. He's also my coworker.” Coworker is underlined. Emmet is crying in the background, looking confused, conflicted, distressed, and happy. He says, “Brother...?” In the final panel, we see a framed photograph of all three together. Underneath are the words, Employee of the Month. Akari is dressed as a depot agent, and she and Ingo pose with peace signs. Emmet is red faced from crying, but he’s smiling widely. He looks happy.

Charizard is the only Pokemon in Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon that is a ride Pokemon that’s unobtainable during normal gameplay. All of the other ride Pokemon are obtainable somewhere in Alola.
