Round and Round - December 10th on Hallmark Channel
Rachel’s stuck in a time loop, reliving the night of her parents’ Hanukkah party. Can Zach, the “nice boy” Grandma’s trying to set her up with, help her make it to tomorrow? Starring Vic Michaelis, Bryan Greenberg and Rick Hoffman.
I cannot get over how good the acting is on Suits, I really appreciate all of their work and commitment but to me, personally, the best acting is done by Gabriel, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Torres.
Especially Rick Hoffman, so few people talk about him. To play such an expressive, goofy character convincingly that must be hard af. I imagine I'd feel like an idiot playing that character but Rick makes Louis Litt feel real but still funny. He is consistent with Louis' mannerisms and expressions. Louis is such an over the top character and to a certain point he was supposed to seem ridiculous but to find the balance in acting that out without making the viewer feel like the acting is factitious or too dramatic is brilliant to me.
Gina, well, we all already know that she's a fantastic actress but her performance of Jessica Pearson was exceptional because despite there being not much depth to her character (relative to the others) she made Jessica stand out and feel ever present throughout the show even when she wasn't on screen. That's called impact. I once watched an interview where Gina said we never find out where Jessica lives and it shocked me how I didn't even notice that. All thanks to her impressive acting Jessica Pearson never felt shallow. She was never "just" the managing partner or "just" a supporting role.
As for Gabriel Macht... what even is there to say really.
To play such a stuck up douchebag and somehow still give him so much charm and soulfulness, no one could have done what he did. I will never not be deeply impressed by the scenes where he was acting out a panic attack. That was a big scene, my heart was doubling its pace! But what is just as outstanding is the fact that this guy is in every single episode of SUITS. Every single one and no one ever gets bored of the dude. No one watches a scene where Harvey is in it and goes "yeah, no, that's enough of him".

Nothing could possibly ever live up to that original 2007 Grindhouse fake trailer, so it was wise Roth didn't even try by going ahead and crafting a rather straight-ahead contemporary, holiday-themed teen slasher thriller. There's just enough schlocky style and Turkey Day bloody, gory violence to entertain audiences.
- Louis, I’m not trying to get you worked up. Because I don’t need you to be managing partner.
- No, and I don’t need it either, but what I do need is to be given the common courtesy of being treated like an equal.
- So what are you going to do?
