A/N: HOLY SHIT MY FIRST LONG POST I’m so proud 🥹

summary: your are a ghost like click heck you were his lover you died after him same age as him too 5 or 2 years (your choice) since you died you have gave up giving up looking for click after 1 year (or 3 if you choose 5 years) you get summoned by the timekeeper and you get back together with your ghostly lover. A bright light surrounded my ghostly body then I was waking up in a beautiful pond have I just been summoned by the time keeper vertin apparently along with a boy with brunette hair in a ponytail (horrorpedia) me and the boy both walked other to the person who summoned us he did tell me his name horrorpedia odd name

horrorpedia: “ahh the ‘great’ vertin nice to see you again”

Yn: “delighted to meet you miss yn the showgirl at your service” i said proudly

vertin: “nice to meet you too well then not to be rude but it is nice to have a female ghost on the crew but let’s get inside don’t want you to freezing”

CLICK’S POV

knock knock knock

“nice to know they knocked for once” I said to myself

I opened the door to see the twins,egeale,Erick

“Do you need something?” I asked

“Yeah actually we were wondering if you had a lover and also vertin is bringing back 2 new friends for the crew!” Egeale said she was excited for a reason

“I-I did…you want to hear about her dont you?” I was quite surprised when they said that

“Yes please if that’s okay with you Mr click!” They all said

“fine come in just don’t touch the photos or ceamras please especially you Erick” I said

after click telling them about her

“she sounds awesome!” They all said

“My favorite part was when I came back she would run up to me and I would pick her up and spin her around sigh I miss her” I said trying not to cry

“oh we should get going you to. Mr click if we want to meet the new people.”

“Hm your right come on then”

“Wow this place is BIG wow” I was breathless but as a ghost that’s not really saying something

vertin: “there are the twins,Erick,egeale click and everyone looks like they came to see you guys”

my eyes widened at the name click,click like my boyfriend click the love of my life click he’s like me a ghost

“click” my voice hourse trying to hold in tears

“click” it it was HER voice the voice im missed so much I looked to where the voice came from I could tell everybody was looking at me but i shook it off

“Yn?” My voice trembled along with my body witch ended up with me dropping my ceamra if everybody wasn’t looking at me they were now

they both looked at each other knowing they were together again she was running up to him he had his arms out ready for her and when they coulided he picked her up and spun her around

they were both crying happy tears after being like that for a while they were just holding each other

YN’S POV

“I-I missed you so much” I said crying in his chest he smelled like gunpowder but I didn’t mind one bit

“I missed you more then you can ever imagine” he said also crying slightly

I leaned in he got the memo and leaned in to and we kissed I could feel the sparks again he was sweet I missed him & his kisses I could tell he missed me more he was so needy but in a cute way and I loved every bit of it

but I swear I heard people saying “awwww~” but I brushed it off and we stoped the kiss and held each other

I looked down to see a couple of kids they looked frigin adorable in my opinion

“Yes” I said

“are you yn if so click told us about you~” the one with the….Viking hat? Said teasingly

I could see the regret and embarrassment wash over clicks face

FUCK they both said forgetting everyone was here while click was now bright red with embarrassment and yn comforting him like old Times

everyone was processing what just happened none of them have seen him this emotional and to them they were scared/concerned but happy he and his girlfriend were together again

click got lots of “you did great” “that was awesome” and other compliments from the guys while yn was being adored by the girls mainly teannet but still they loved there reunion

∘ PAVIA absolutely loves to spoil you, and expects to be spoiled as well. having been lived in the basement for so long, he hasn't really been "cherished" materialistically. when you and his relationship grow, he'll start to enjoy hugging you, cuddling you, etc. it'll take a lot of time for this to happen, however, because he's been isolated from society for so long. he's not really sure how to react if he's suddenly hugged or just touched in general in a romantic sense, so it'll take some time to get used to it. but once he does he'll sometimes just hug you out of the blue or even bite you (he means it affectionately, trust me).

∘ he'll randomly buy you jewelry, clothing, or anything that'll make you look pretty. on some mornings, you'll wake up and find a gift on your nightstand with a note saying, "don't expect this to happen often" knowing very well if anything reminds him of you, he'll buy it without hesitation.

∘ also buy gifts for him! he especially loves matching things, like necklaces, rings (take that as you will), etc. in the beginning of your relationship, if you buy matching things with him, he'll pretend not to care (at least he thinks he doesn't) but when he finally warms up to you he might just jump on you and pepper your face with kisses (and bites, too).

∘ CLICK doesn't talk much, nor does he really express his feelings. he has grown "numb" to many things because of what he's seen before he died, so not a lot of things shock him. he prefers you just nearby, in a calming silence as he looks through photos or takes photographs of things. he usually wants you to follow him -- or vice versa -- while he takes pictures of things he think you would like.

∘ he's not used to physical touch, if you're even able to make that work. he's also unsure of how to react to compliments/words of affirmation besides saying "thank you", "thanks", or "you too". that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate them, however.

∘ whenever DIGGERS decides to go out -- which is almost everyday -- he never forgets to invite you. he likes to keep you by his side, either holding your hand or wrapping an arm around your waist. if he's busy holding bubbles, he'll usually ask if you can hug him, whether it's from the side or behind.

∘ you'll often invite you to his home, making sure that the guest room looks nice and tidy, just for him to insist on staying in your bedroom with you. whenever he sleeps, he usually drools on the bedsheets, holding you close to his chest tightly, but not enough to suffocate you.

∘ growing up in the foundation, HORROPEDIA wasn't really appreciated by the staff. he would often be criticized for his "peculiar obsessions and fixations" and his strange behavior. he doesn't want his partner to feel the way he has felt, so he likes to assure them that they're perfect in every single aspect.

∘ he loves to feel appreciated as well. if you're doing something together, no matter how simple, and you compliment him, he'll fight the urge to blush and suddenly embrace you. he masks really well and he reacts to compliments by other foundation members subtly with a simple "thanks" but when it's you, it's somehow different.

Compilation of headcanons about Click in a romantic relationship.

I haven't thought much abt Click but hmmm - now I'm kinda intrigued after looking through his voicelines and story! ty for the ask, nonnie!

Fandom led me to believe Click was just the a sad and wet little shy introvert victim of the horrors but now I'm willing to say that there's a little more nuance to that - his behaviour is muted and calm, but many of his voicelines point towards a very daring and fearless personality.

One of them states how he was never even afraid of landmines in the first place, and we also have to take into account the fact that his job requires a lot of courage. He also has no problem prioritizing a picture, regardless of what people might think or say - or the trouble he could get into.

In the context of romance, Click is quite a breeze of fresh air - despite having little to no experience in relationships, he's naturally curious and straightforward in his own muted, calm way. Very inquisitive when it comes to learning the ropes, finding out more hidden facets of his partner and also learning about his own. There's no ulterior motives, no ungodly amount of emotional baggage - Click is very genuine and direct.

I do think he'd be pretty dense when it comes to people flirting with him, with compliments and subtle pick-up lines flying right over his head. Click is very insightful when it comes to photography, always taking beautiful shots that just display all the beauty that surrounds him - but he's still somewhat oblivious to certain things, especially if they're related to romance. Don't take it personally if all you get is a simple thanks after showering him in compliments!

On the subject of Click realizing he has a crush.

As a photographer, he focuses on the small details - and so, it would take a long time for him to notice the big picture.

Why is his portfolio full of things that remind him of you? He doesn't understand why he keeps freezing up whenever he talks to you. Normally, he'd have no trouble asking people for a photoshoot, why can't he bring himself to ask you all of a sudden?

But as soon as Click realizes he has a crush, he's quick to act on his feelings and confront you directly - photography has taught him to never let any sensational moments pass. No matter where you are or what you're doing, you'll find Click right beside you, having manifested out of thin air, insisting that he has something important to tell you. He feels like you should know what he's feeling, and so he tells you right away.

It's not necessarily a proper confession in his eyes, at least he didn't confess with the intention of getting you to date him or find out what you feel in return - it's more so the polite thing to do, both for himself and for you, the object of his affections. This is also as far as he's planned. The moment those words leave his mouth, Click would simply bid you a good day and float away because he's just done with his business, there's no point in keeping you from going about your day.

It's up to you to confront him right away or wait a few days - either way, you'll be met with an extremely surprised and somewhat flustered Click, who wasn't expecting an answer in the first place. He'll be somewhat timid during the first few months, but once he settles in the relationship you can expect him to be even more direct, interrupting conversations you have with people because he just really wants you to hang out with him and so on.

He loves when you look for him from across the room. He just loves knowing you're looking at him.

Because of his status as a ghost and his former job during the war, Click is used to blending in with the background to the point where it's become quite the habit - it's easy to forget he's in the room and he makes his presence as small as possible, as it allows him more freedom to roam and capture small, fleeting moments.

I wouldn't say that he's desperate to be seen or noticed, quite the contrary! His voicelines express that he feels much better now that he can just float around, be a fly and the wall, etc.

But he's always been the one observing others, not the one being observed - Click is not used to receiving this unique type of attention and affection, to be on the other side of the camera.

He stammers and grows extremely flustered when he realizes that you've taken pictures of him, as if he doesn't have an album full of candid pictures he's taken of you. When he notices the way you search for him among the crowd, when your face lights up once you see him - he's so relieved he can levitate because otherwise his legs would've given out. It's no mystery that Click experiences the world through the lenses of his camera, this is how he can express himself - so knowing that his partner is looking at him with the same amount of love, adoration and attention to detail is enough to turn Click into a a smitten mess.

It takes him a long, long time to get used to simply laying down with you to rest (he doesn't need to rest the same way you do, but he still makes the effort of keeping you company if you want it) because of the possibility of meeting your gaze - so sleepy and comfortable, looking at him like he means the world to you. He knows exactly what's going through your head and the way you see him, because it's the same for him when it comes to you.

To no one's surprise, Click loves to take pictures of you.

This is a given, so I'll talk about it from a slightly different angle instead of rambling about things everyone and their dog already know.

As a ghost, the way he interacts with the physical world is extremely limited, which can be both a blessing and a curse - he can pass through walls and fly really high to get the best angles, food and water are no longer an issue, he doesn't experience life the same way everyone does and he knows this. Click, out of all supernatural entities, has adapted the best to this current state of being, but there are times when he just... forgets.

It only hits him once his hand passes right through yours, and you find yourself shivering and surprised, scolding him for trying to tease you when all he wanted was to hold your hand. When you need so many blankets just to lay down with him because he's so damn cold, an empty, lifeless void next to you, sucking up all the warmth.

And this is when Click realizes that he was content with being a ghost because he had never wanted anything in life - now that he does, it's a little jarring. There are many, many things Click wishes he could do, but he can't.

So he settles for what he knows: capturing every single moment you two spend together. He can't hold you in his arms nor feel the way you kiss his cheek, but he can still have tangible, solid proof of the love you two share in the form of pictures.

I imagine Click has many beautiful pictures of you, but the ones he loves the most are those that show all the fun he has when he's with you - this one is blurry, but he knows that's you laughing and trying to reach out for his camera to get him to stop with his antics. That one has an awful composition, but he knows that this is a picture of the first time you attempted to hug him by surprise and fell flat on your face. Another one is just an accidental picture you took of yourself, the flash blinding your eyes in the funniest expression he's ever seen.

You've made him promise time and time again to never let anyone else see such embarrassing pictures, and Click has given you his word - only because these stupid, little moments mean so much to him and he doesn't want to share them with anyone else.

They been together back then since 1940's when Click was alive. reader knows click 's death. But then when vertin asked reader to join her journey, reader finally see their lover.

It was unexpected- really.

It was not even the right time, too.

You and Click were lovers before the world conflict became very notable... You were both happy together until you had to acknowledge that it's you guys' turn to serve for the country as well... help write the history and the legacy alongside the others. So you both started to barely see one another as you do your respective jobs.

You were one of the million women who worked as a factory worker in defence production during the 1940s, the years dominated by the war...

He was a photographer from the army who had to stay on the battlefield. You know very well how bad the war is as you have a friend who lost her husband by the war. So everyday you were always afraid, knowing how Click has to linger in places that obviously have slim chances of surviving...

Even sadder when this time, the photographer doesn't always live after, through these circumstances.

All you could do was pray and write letters to him as you contribute to the workforce...

The letters were sometimes not so long, it gets shorter as the days go by, and the war going through its climax and more problems happening on the way as well. Yet, knowing that each letter is safely delivered is enough for you to reassure you that Click is still alive.... Until one day.

By the time you came back to work- the manager suddenly motioned you to come talk with her, having a letter in her hand as they have... this look, the look of bad news.

You just... You just couldn't believe it.

As you both find themselves in the office from anyone's sight, you find yourself slowly shattering the seconds of reading the letter report given to you.

He died... Click died in action.

...You crumbled in your hands as your boss gave you small pats on your back.

'Back in the 40s...'

An old letter, the latest you wrote to Click, said,

'It was one of the happiest times of my life... Until I lost you to them."

That's what the letter started. There was more to say in that letter. Every single word carrying a huge meaning to Click.

Vertin handed it to him so he could read it. She happened to find it somewhere, noticing the letter addressed to his name abadoned in the middle of nowhere during the patrols.

"Y/N" was written as the sender's name.

'I'm not sure when I will see you again, but I'm just hoping that in our next life, we won't be as miserable as we were... And live together as much as we desire, my love.'

These words bring a familiar, tender feeling he haven't recalled for a while.

'I miss you, Click.... I always do.'

'I just hope you're out there and find this. Read this with your heart. Prove them that you're not dead.... Just as you promised me to come back home.'

He holds these words close to his soul... Even while he's not alive.

'I love you... and I'll find you if I can.

Still yours, Y/N.'

"My Rosie..."

That’s the first thing he muttered once he finished reading. His eyes dull but longing in spirit.

It's evening...

time to clean up.

You mentally note as you notice the items needed to be put away.

The war is over now, you were just about to pack your tools and head home by yourself.

Unfortunately, no one is going to welcome you at home. Because you already know he's gone... He did well. He was the most bravest man you have ever met and love.

Now you have to move on... How will you do that exactly?

That.. You'll have to ask that yourself later. First, you're going to need to walk back to the house safely before more accidents nay happen-

Strangely, the streets seem less crowded than usual... where are the people? Why aren't the cars moving? The sky seems to turn grey than normal - it looks like it's going to rain.

You heels quickly click on the cement floor as you hurry yourself, gripping on your purse and toolkit-

But suddenly, you notice someone from afar... A lady with light hair, wearing a suit.

I. Interesting...? It's rare to see a woman dressing this way these days.

You stopped in your steps once you start to clearly notice that she's now few steps away from, facing you, AND not seeming to intend to let you go around her.

However... she seems to not intend to harm anyone. She even has another girl beside her, ginger with sophistication, eccentric clothes that resemble an italian writer.

"Greetings," The lady says politely, fixing her calculative eyes on you, "Cloudy day, isn't it?"

By the sound of it, this lady seems to be from the UK... she must have been here for a visit.

"It is, indeed." You nod calmly, not sure what else to do other than thinking about just going home and mourning... Your eyes can notably tell they barely have any sleep, your hair tangled and unkempt from the long hours of work and questionable times to wake up and be called up for duty.

"I'm Vertin," She introduces as you both give each other a handshake, "this is Sonetto, my friend and assistant."

"Hello, Verti, Sonetto..." You lightly lift your eyebrow, wondering who are even these strangers exactly... they seem to need something from you. Noticing closer, they seem to have mature appearances of 16-yeard old girls. About 3 years younger than you.

"Good evening, miss..." Sonetto mindfully greets with a smile, "Excuse us for suddenly appearing... We need your help."

H. Help?

"Help? Oh, sweeties... What's the concern? Sadly, I really need some rest- work has been quite something." You half-heartedly apologize with a sorry smile. They seem to tell how your state doesn't seem to be in a good condition. You then remember you haven't told them your name. So you added along with a light smile at the ginger-haired girl.

"Please, call me Y/N."

That name.

That name seems to ring on Vertin once again.

Yes, this is the woman. The woman Vertin was looking.... The one Click was looking for.

The Timekeeper seem to have arrived at the right time.

"But miss Y/N- this is an emergency... I'm afraid something is going to happen--" Sonetto attempts to asks calmly, despite wearing this quite alarmed look that makes you feel almost worried... almost.

"Oh...? Right when the war have just ended...? What else are they going to do now..." You rub your chin gently as you look down at the pair in thought before your eyes morph into a horrified ones,

"...launch more missiles?"

"Ah- not exactly as we try to convey.." Sonetto shakes her head as seeming unsure of your statement, oh.

"An abnormal storm is going to arrive here anytime soon-" Vertin starts explaining, "Another war is going to happen between humans and arcanists- We need mechanics like you to help us with machinery."

"A... War? You got to be....- How do I know if you're telling the true?"

Sonetto suddenly then quietly gasps, grabbing on Vertin's hand and quickly pointing at what she's looking through your shoulder- You and Vertin followed her gaze only to see... creatures emerging one by one - Fluffly creatures???

Oh- and who are these people with strange helmets??? Are they even humans???

You seem hesitant about it, but noticing the strange anomalies in your surroundings. You seem to tell that these kids aren't really joking as they still have seious looks on their expressions--

A part of yourself wished to live in a more peaceful place, where you would have to sacrifice much just for the people that seem to be suffering the most... why can't you just live comfortably with everyone?

But then, if you decline on joining them- what if that means you have to go back to follow under these women roles this society has been putting you and the others on? Getting married.. get married, being a housekeeper and mother- you don't want to do that, not after you have lost your lover- and losing the reason to dream about a future with him...

You... you honestly don't want to leave your job as a riveter.

As if managing to read your mind, Vertin adds more, "...You'll get to live comfortably with us."

"...?"

"We have friends who have experienced losses as well, You'll get to do whatever you want and live peacefully as long as you get along with everyone."

'Whatever you want'...

...This is new.

It took you some minutes to think, before you eventually accepted Vertin's hand. Shaking it to seal the deal.

You'll get to have more freedom in what you do after that... while trying to move on from him.

Little did you know, it happened to be the contrary.

Just as you tried to start getting used to the suitcase's environment and the wide map of the Ark- there were also lots of people in it... some lingering around portraits, wearing familiar and unfamiliar clothes, people from different accents and places...

You have never thought this many people with such eccentricity would desire to seek shelter in here... but then, you admit, the domain is stylish and cozy for the warm/rainy days.

Vertin instructed you to just stay comfortable at your now new residence. So you comply, sitting on the couch after managing to find an appealing book from one of the shelves.

You were not sure why the young female pair seemed to start acting more suspicious by the time you three arrived - is there something they're hiding from you? What are their plans? Oh dear, there are so many questions you just want to ask today. Making it almost hard to read a book and concentrate on its context.

"Click, I need your time for a moment," Vertin calls out calmly to the ghost at the room he is in after knocking.

"...." He slowly turns back to Vertin in question before floating begrudgingly towards, wearing the same spooked look in his lifeless orbs.

"I have something to show you... someone who you would like to see." Vertin further explains as she starts to walk while the ghost follows her clueslessly.

"Someone...?" The photographer mutters a bit, puzzled by the sudden arrival of some new recruit- but then why is it him who has to be called to see them..? Would this person be willing to see him?

He doesn't think much before sighing, his camera in a slightly tight grip by the foreign feeling of being seen by someone new... He honestly hasn't moved on from his sweetheart... The person who is willing to see him.

He just doesn't want to, even if he's now a dead man, and you probably have already moved on - well, that's what he tends to believe.

Meanwhile, a kind girl dressed in a bunny outfit, "Bunny Bunny," appeared and served you a drink, which you hesitantly but kindly accepted it - meeting her was pleasantly unexpected... You were just trying out the cool drink - so far, it's pretty refreshing and flavorful.

Just as Bunny Bunny left with her tray, you kept sipping on your drink and take a look on the book... You slowly realize this book is a documentary with pictures...

Some of these pictures are familiar, like that one first picture of a tree with a cat...

You softly furrow your eyebrows before you search something from your pocket- a picture.

The picture Click took and sent you. It looks exactly like the one in the book.

You blink lightly before seeing more pictures as you flip on the pages, some familiar, and some seem to be newer ones.

The more pages of pictures you look, the more your thoughts are starting to connect-

You then immediately flip the book to the last page for any source.

'Pictures taken by Click'

Wait- this is not a typical book-! It's your boyfriend's portfolio report!

These... some of the recent pictures are dated but- the year is quite twitchy....

Your mind is going confused as you close the book carefully, looking at the cover, wondering if Click is missing.... or has been here.

...Is... he here?

Wow, the new design of the cover looks sharp nonetheless. You're so proud of him...

If only... If only he's still here with you.

Your silent thoughts were now no longer in your head once you thought that part. You smiled... but that smile seems to not reach your eyes, which seems to be on the verge of tearing up.

...

"Oh Click..." You trembly whispered with your late lover's name, slowly wiping your tears as you laugh quietly, "You really were serious about putting that picture of the tree cat;;;"

"...I was serious." A voice can be heard clearly. Quietly.

...Before the sound of a camera is heard from your right-

You suddenly jumped by the sudden noises before turning around to see who's beside you. The moment your eyes landed on the speaker, your eyes widened as tired, dull eyes staring back at you.

"...Y/N."

"...Click?" You replied back as your breath hitches.

Shocked, you slowly and unsteadily reached your hand out to his transparent face- which... notably seems to penetrate through his cheek, barely sensing something solid other than the chilliness of the room.

"Y/N..." Click seems to leaned down the moment your hand fails to make contact with him.

Nonetheless, he lightly hovered your hand with his as he closed his eyes, trying to imagine the familiar feeling of your soft hands as he sensed the warmth radiating out of you. "You're here."

"Click...,,," You teared up as you look up and down, your mind going crazy as you wonder why you can't even touch your lover-

"He's dead..." Vertin admits as she can be found appearing by the doorway, having a sorry look. "But he surprisingly remembers you ever since the time he came here."

You faced Vertin as she stated that your eyes showed multiple emotions before shifting them towards Click. Who is still busy nuzzling into your warmth. "How long have you been here?"

"A couple of months ago..." Click answered before finally looking up at you. His eyes are dead, but the same love they tend to hold when seeing you.

"Oh, baby.." You breath out, "What have they done to you."

"...A lot of things." Click simply answered as he fiddled with his cameras to look at the picture he took of you in your shocked expression from before, "I miss your pretty face..."

"Now now... - don't go all lovey dovey just yet,,,-" You sobbed softly but still lean your forehead on his lightly, staying closer to him. At least spiritually and visibly.

Your gaze on him softens more by the time you calm yourself, as your dear ghost lover wraps you in his arms loosely. You gently try to brush over Click's lower lip with a thumb despite being unable to feel it, looking at it silently before speaking your heart away.

"Keep loving me, I'll never stop loving you even if it means i can't kiss you now...-"

"...H...Honey..." Click quietly whispers to you, his face unfaltered, but his voice fails to not sound like he's on the verge of tearing up.

*sighs* "Lovebirds..." Vertin can be heard saying this with a hint of amusement.

"We gotta figure out how to make them kiss." Sonetto suggests.

Even if you’re not sure what a blog is, you’ve no doubt come across one at some point in time. Perhaps you’ve stumbled across a blog when you’ve searched “healthy dinner recipes”. Alternatively, maybe you used a blog to get more information on SEO strategies. In fact, if you’re reading this, guess what? You’re on a blog. (Very meta, I know.)

If your business doesn’t have a blog, you might want to reconsider — B2B marketers who use blogs receive 67% more leads than those who do not, and blogs have been rated the 5th most trusted source for accurate online information. At its most basic, blogs can help you develop an online presence, prove yourself an expert in an industry, and attract more quality leads to all pages of your site. If you’re contemplating creating a blog for your business, or simply want to know what one is, keep reading. What is a blog? First, let’s go over a brief history — in 1994, Swarthmore College student Justin Hall is credited with the creation of the first blog, Links.net. At the time, however, it wasn’t considered a blog … just a personal homepage. In 1997, Jorn Barger, blogger for Robot Wisdom, coined the term “weblog”, which was meant to describe his process for “logging the web” as he surfed the internet. The term “weblog” was shortened to “blog” in 1999, by programmer Peter Merholz. What is a blog post? A blog post is an individual web page on your website that dives into a particular sub-topic of your blog. For instance, let’s say you start a fashion blog on your retail website. One blog post might be titled, “The Best Fall Shoes for 2019”. The post ties back to your overall blog topic as a whole (fashion), but it also addresses a very particular sub-topic (fall shoes). Blog posts allow you to rank on search engines for a variety of keywords. In the above example, your blog post could enable your business to rank on Google for “fall shoes”. They might click “Products” after they read your post, and take a look at the clothing items your company sells. A blog post links back to your overall blog site. Blog vs. Website

A blog is typically a section of your business’s website — but, unlike the rest of your website, you need to update the blog section frequently by adding new posts. Additionally, your blog is a tool that allows you to engage more with an audience, either by analyzing how many readers share your blog posts on social, or by allowing readers to comment on your individual posts. In this way, a blog is more like a two-way conversation than the rest of your website. However, a blog can also be an entire website, and often is, if the blog is for personal use alone — for instance, a travel blog.

What is a lifestyle blog?

A lifestyle blog is a digital compilation of an author’s personal interests, daily activities, or opinions on a subject. A lifestyle blog typically covers multiple hobbies or talents of the writer, rather than focusing on one subject alone. For instance, a lifestyle blog might include a section for fashion, health and wellness, travel, and relationships. A lifestyle blog is often highly personalized, so it can often feel like you’re reading a friend’s curated journal entries.

There are plenty of benefits to blogging — it helps drive traffic to your website, it enables you to better convert that traffic into leads, it allows your business to establish authority in an industry, and it continues to help your business grow and attract new customers months and even years after publication. What is the difference between a wiki and a blog?

1. To help your company rank on search engines. Typically, a business will use a blog to help the business’s website rank on search engines. You can absolutely employ SEO tactics, or use paid ads, to help your company homepage rank on page one of Google — but a more effective, long-term solution is blogging. To consider how your company can rank on search engines via a blog, we’ll start with an example — let’s say you work for a web design start-up with very little online presence. You decide to spend the first year writing and posting regular blog content that strongly relates to web design. Over time, your traffic increases and other companies link to your site for information regarding web design. When this happens, Google recognizes your company as a legitimate source for web design information. Eventually (with a lot of trial and error), your blog posts begin ranking on page one of Google for terms like “web design”, “website builder”, and “e-commerce website”. Then, one day, you search “web design companies in X city” and find your company is now on page one. This is likely due, in large part, to your consistent blogging efforts. Take a look at How HubSpot Uses Blogging to Rank #1 on Google to learn more about specific strategies you can implement to rank on search engines. 2. To share information about a given topic and become an expert in an industry. In 2006, Boston-native Matt Kepnes quit his job and began traveling the world. He documented his travels in his now infamous blog, NomadicMatt.com. After about a year, thanks to tireless blogging efforts and SEO strategies that enabled him to rank on Google, he began pulling in $60,000. Matt also created e-books, and used sponsorships and affiliate marketing to make money. Additionally, he wrote a New York Times best-seller, “How to Travel the World on $50 a Day.” Now, Matt’s blog attracts 1.5 million visitors a month and grosses about $750,000 a year — and he’s become a well-known expert in the travel space. If you want to become known as an expert in a topic that interests you, from fashion to blogging to fitness, you can — and, oftentimes, it starts with a blog. 3. To attract visitors to your site, and turn those visitors into leads. There’s only so much traffic you can get from the homepage or About Us page of your company’s website. Of course, those pages are critical for leads who are already interested in your products — but they often won’t attract traffic from top-of-the-funnel. That’s where your blog comes into play. Your blog can be a general resource to help your website visitors even before those visitors are ready to purchase from you. For instance, let’s say you sell products for e-commerce stores. You might attract some e-commerce owners who are already searching online for your products, but in most cases, the e-commerce owner isn’t going to be ready to buy right out of the gate. Alternatively, if you begin blogging about tips to help the retail owner who is just starting out — like “How to start a retail website”, or “Benefits of e-commerce vs. physical store” — you’ll slowly attract an audience who enjoys your content and finds it useful. Then, when those site visitors’ e-commerce stores begin growing (thanks, in part, to your blog), they’ll already know about your brand and already trust it as a helpful source. That’s when they’ll check out your product pages. 4. To cultivate an online community and engage with an audience. At the very least, you might create a blog to engage with an online community of readers with similar interests. Maybe you start a food blog and ask readers to share their own recipes with you. Alternatively, perhaps you start a blog that focuses on DIY projects. You post the fun, DIY projects you’ve completed in your own home, and you ask your readers to share their own DIY tips in exchange.

How To Blog

Choose your target audience. Brainstorm content ideas frequently based on your market segment. Research and review a content management system (CMS). Create a blog strategy and editorial calendar. Pay attention to article structure. Become an expert in marketing and promoting your blog. Learn about SEO. Use a variety of blog post styles. Repurpose old content. Perform a competitive analysis.

1. Choose your target audience. When you’re starting your own blog, it’s important to think of your target audience. Who are you creating the blog for? And who do you want reading your blog posts? Before you can get started, you have to consider the niche you’re writing about and what topics you’ll cover and why. Brainstorming your target audience is similar to creating a buyer persona for your company. Plus, this will give you an idea on what kind of content you want to produce. 2. Brainstorm content ideas frequently based on your market segment. Once you’ve started a blog, you’ll want to churn out high-quality, consistent content on a regular basis. This isn’t always easy. Creating content is a time-consuming task. You want to ensure your content is something your readers would be interested in and hopefully can help with your SEO — more on that in a minute. To begin brainstorming content, consider what your competitors are doing. Look for gaps in their content that you can fulfill. Additionally, you should also do SEO research to verify that users are searching for and interested in the topic you want to write about. Sites like Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, and Answer The Public can help. You’ll want to brainstorm content frequently so you always have ideas that you can execute. 3. Once you’ve decided to start a blog, figure out if your current CMS has all the capabilities of hosting a blog. If not, you’ll want to review CMS options that might integrate with your site or look for an entirely new CMS to migrate your site on. There are several options in the CMS world including HubSpot, WordPress, and Squarespace. 4. Create a blog strategy and editorial calendar. Just like creating a business, you can’t create a blog without a strategy in mind. Your strategy should answer questions like: Who are you targeting? What type of content will you produce? When will you post? Where will you promote your content? Overall, you should have a mission, vision, and goals for your blog. Then, create an editorial calendar to keep you organized and on track. A calendar will help you track what posts are coming up, ensure writers are meeting deadlines, and assure you have enough content ideas for the foreseeable future. 5. Pay attention to article structure. When you’re writing your blog posts, it’s important to consider the article structure. For instance, are you using subheads to break up the post so it’s easy to digest? Are you using bullet points and images that make the post easy to scan? These are important factors that will help keep your reader on the page. Additionally, you’ll want to make sure that you’re using calls-to-action (CTAs), that will guide the reader on what you want them to do next. This is how you can start making money and generating leads from your blog. 6. Become an expert in marketing and promoting your blog. Another element of blogging is marketing and promoting your blog posts. It’s like the age-old adage — “When a tree falls in the woods and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?” Consequently, if you write a blog post but nobody reads it, will it have a positive impact on your company or brand? Probably not. That’s why you’ll have to market your posts. You can use social media, SEO, your website, or your email newsletter to reach current and potential customers. 7. Learn about SEO. Like I mentioned above, you want people to read your blog posts. One way to do that is to get organic traffic through SEO. If you want your blog to be successful, learn how to research keywords, how to rank in search engines, and how to build an SEO strategy. 8. Use a variety of blog post styles. Your blog posts should be interesting to everyone who reads them, and especially for customers who read every single post. For those that are active followers and ambassadors of your blog, you should use a variety of blog post styles so your blog doesn’t get stale. Consider using how-to posts, list-based posts, or thought leadership. 9. Repurpose old content. Producing blog content consistently can be hard. But you don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time you write a blog post. You can update old blog posts to keep them accurate and comprehensive. Additionally, you can use other content of yours, perhaps a YouTube video or a podcast, and repurpose the content into a blog post. 10. Perform a competitive analysis. To understand your audience, run a competitive analysis on your top blog competitors. This will help you identify trends, uncover gaps in the content in your industry, and give you ideas on topics and ways to promote your blog. ∘ she enjoys your company and likes you just by her side in the lab, with her experimenting and you doing your own thing. sometimes, when they finish their work early, they'll just cuddle with you in silence, a sly grin on their face.

∘ you two were simple acquaintances, and she knew that you might be a bit taken aback by the sudden request to go on a date with her, so she'll take things slow. mostly for your sake, but also hers.

∘ when your friendship grows deeper she'll decide to take you out on a date. she'll dress up extra nicely while keeping a simple look. she tries to be secretive with it (unless you don't want to be) in case one of the foundation members catches you two and chaos ensues. while she would love to show you off and show everyone that she's yours and you're hers, she'll be afraid of the possible consequences that both of you may receive from the higher-ups. i mean, how would they react with one of the foundation's top members being with one of the worst troublemakers? if you're alright with it, though, she is too!

∘ CLICK is a huge introvert. he prefers solitude, or being with the animals in nature.

∘ that's when you came along in his life -- or afterlife.

∘ it doesn't take long for him to fall in love with you, to be honest. he's lacked human affection for so long that he doesn't even question how you're able to see him for a while.

∘ what really confuses him is why you like him, too. you're an extrovert, and you're popular with everybody in town. why go after a dead man when you have so many other living options?

∘ he's too scared that you'll reject him so he waits for you to make a move, which doesn't take long because of your blazing confidence.

∘ he likes to take you out on dates when you two are alone, with him taking pictures of the scenery while you ramble on about your day and other things. however, if you want to go to a party or just a louder area of town, he'll accept. it's not like people will approach him, anyway, and the only issue he'll really have is the possible loud noises. he'll usually just stick by your side, clinging onto you so he doesn't lose you.

∘ being known as one of the "less fortunate" foundation members for his "chaotic" and "peculiar" behavior, HORROPEDIA is a bit shocked himself for falling in love with you. however, he learns to accept it quickly.

∘ she pretends not to like you at first. she ignores your presence, only responding with a grumbling "they're weird". secretly, however, they adore you. they admire how you're able to not pretend to be someone you aren't, minding your business and not acting to be liked by others. she's fascinated by how other's opinions don't really affect you. or if they do, you don't let it show.

∘ after the events of green lake, she returns to college and acts like nothing happened. instead of ignoring your presence, however, she decides to approach you.

∘ she seems to like you, but you're unsure if she actually wants to be friends with you or she's just manipulating you to use you for something. as time passes, though, you come to learn that she's actually being genuine about her feelings.

∘ she believes that she has to make the first move. as much as she likes to be asked out by guys on campus, she feels as though she has to make the first move on you. she doesn't know if it's because she thinks you won't make the first move because of your shy personality or of some odd lingering feeling.

∘ her friends are absolutely flabbergasted by her dating you. some believe that she deserves better, some don't even believe that she's dating you. she drops all of them unless they apologize, saying things like "they're a wonderful person!" and telling you not to listen to them.
