A follow up to this ask : /post/696928986299793408/ The host has blocked them on social media - and they hadn't talked to them/interacted with them since they'd said that. They were online friends for a short period of time and it was the first time that person ever said anything in the like, or else they wouldn't have become friends in the first place. Reading my kinfession again it kind of sounds like the host was fine with this kind of behaviour despite finding it weird which is not the case at all.

I was waiting someone to write on this litle piece that i have noticed but i did not find it, so hear me out. (first time writting some meta, please forgive)

We know Pete as “smiley” and “bubbly” person. 

However, he likes to be near danger or violence. How I get to this point, First of all, of course, this scene with Pete where they  are beating up the man. 

He is definetly familiar with violence and as someone wrote before, Pete was disappointed when Kinn stopped him. And there is another even earlier scene that i have noticed. Pete wants violence and be in danger and get that adrenaline. He does not want boring life or be at piece. First pic is where he was happy to be swapped with Porshe and the second one when he rambles that it is better to work for Kinn.

So, basically he was asking for some action that he does not get from being Pi Tankhun’s bodyguard. He is happy to be real mafia bodyguard, surrounded with dangerous situations. 

And then we get these infamous scenes where he is so attentive and captivated by violence/danger in front of him. Pete understands this torture as how it should be in a mafia world and he is all into it. That how it works and how it should be. 

Returnig to the idea that Pete likes danger and wants to be in danger. That is where Vegas character comes to the picture. At this point Vegas is manifestation of Violence/danger. So, there is no doubt that our boy would be captivated by him.

My idea is that they destined to each other and perfectly matched, even from the Pete’s point. Not only because Pete would balance Vegas at some point but Pete would definitely accept all violence that Vegas has to offer.

Haha the 2 and 5 year olds try their best to converse.

I have mixed feelings on joker 2. On one hand, it’s a sequel to one of my favorite films of all time. On the other hand, it’s a sequel to one of my favorite films of all time lol. I just hold Joker to an incredibly high standard and I’m terrified that the sequel will not only not live up to the first film, but will actually taint it if it just comes out “meh” or “oof”.

I love Arthur and I hope the sequel doesn’t make him OOC to what we feel like his character is. 😰

This is the same thing I am currently struggling with in my Joker fic. I absolutely love the not-so-normalcy of ordinary Arthur. He somehow manages to soften all our hearts despite the danger he can impose.

Joker is much more confident and takes pleasure in showing people the madness that lurks within his mind. He is a completely different man, even if what's inside of his head is still the same. But he walks around with a different air to him. And how do I keep readers interested when he suddenly has swagger? 👀 (Not to mention a different surrounding: we go from his mom's homely home to...? A hideout? A lair? We go from him being all on his own to men standing behind him shouting their support? From him being ignored and beaten to girls fawning over him for his charm and dare? Add to that the fact that Harley and Joker have a love history that many of the Joker fans might feel a little nifty towards because of well.. ovaries and so on that might disagree XD It's going to be a tricky mix! )

[And now I get this random prompt idea of Reader being sent to the past, Arkham Asylum, to stop Arthur from meeting Harley, as that will cause for bad things to happen in the future. And this stupid doctor they set upon the task after Arthur murdered their last psychologist randomly giving away the fact that he may never meet this certain Harley Quinn. And Arthur seeing Reader lurking about the premisis in her white nurse suit and mistaking her to be Harley (who he at that point has never met) and more smutscenes and misunderstandings. And the future people deliberately having send reader because she looks like this one woman that kept returnig in the pictures he drew in his notebook, so she's like his dream-girl personified and is technically used as bait to lure him away from Harley's destructively good match. OMG I can't write that. I still need to finish the fics I have in progress XD ] I feel you, anon, for I fear the same things. Can they deliver when the charm of the first movie will be hard to match?

perhaps... just perhaps, in a random location in the room, a rather flamboyantly decorated gift basket shimmers into reality. Filled with an assortment of little goodies of the far less... accidentally lethal contraptions and snacks his company had made over the years. As well as a rather ridiculous boquet of flowers that seemed almost alien in nature, spelling out DW in the middle. Soundless besides it's initial thud, simply waiting for the moment when and if the immortal doctor takes note of it.

He notices it. While all Bright does is lifting his eyes towards the basket. Aknolwedging its presence, taking just a few seconds to notice the logo. Maybe smirk a bit, before returnig to his phone.

no kiss ready in 1/2 hour and downstairs at 8 1/4 Throp´s son and one man and Joseph and John Mann had been waiting 10 minutes for me – set the 2 gardeners at work thinning out young oaks in my walk wood, and went the 2 Manns to Tilley holme and Sown holm about the engine pit – Joseph wanted it putting in the hollow close under the road between Denmark land and that bit of Dovehouse land – I said that would not do, but would have it close to Pearson´s road corner turning down under John Oates´s field – well! they both agreed that would do – whole coal there both beds – I then said I would have the dam on this side the brook at the top of the brook side of upper brook Ing – shewed them all this – they think this the best plan and cheapest and shall even have rather less water to pump – had just settled all this when saw Washington coming to Adney – reexplained the wholeand walked all over the ground again – he, too, approves the plan – he and his man to come and level again this new site, at 10 a.m. tomorrow – came home with Samuel Washington and breakfast at 10 – Adney had just done breakfast – out again at 10 1/2  - met Jonathan Mullinson at the gate, and came back with him – he would like to take the Mytholm far fields and says James Smith would like to have the brows, in fact, just what I had fixed in my own mind – went over the land with Jonathan – it wants a good deal laying out in repairing fences and in draining – said I would consider about the rent, but must have what it is worth – then with Throp till came home at 2 – a few mins. (minutes) with my father and Marian then with Adney off with her as far as Cliff hill at 2 25/.. – left Adney at 3 10/.. and back in 1/2 hour – Holt just gone down to the Mytholm – went there – could not find him – then a little while with Jonathan again looking at his old barn – met Holt in returnig – took him to the new site for engine pit – explained – the 2 Manns came – went all over the ground again – Holt satisfyed – left him in my Godley field to go to Northowram and I returned home – shewed the Manns how to team more drift stuff without shifting the run at all – they are out of the drit band and spending their level in geting into the coal band – the drift will take 3 weeks longer doing – hard work now – in the stone – all done by blast – then at 5 25/.. off to meet Adney met her in Tilley holm – we went up to 2 men from the Mechanics Institution hunting over the Tilley holm vent-pit stuff for organic remains – several good impressions of pectens – brought away one specimen – walked about in the garden – Adney hurt at her aunts so cutting her out – hard so to leave the furniture away to her sister and probably etc. etc. to etc. etc. spirited her up – came in at 6 1/4  - dinner at 6 35/.. and coffee in an hour – then 20 minutes with my father and I (all the blood in my head from the heat of the room) came away and wrote the above of today till 8 25/.. having left Adney with my father – Marian drank tea at Halifax this evening, one guesses where - John Oates has that bit of ground, 96 on the plan - he let it to John Mallinson, to put his fat sheep in, for 3 guineas! a year; but Jonathan Mallinson before or when he made up his mind to come and take the Mytholm land of me, gave it up – there is about 1/2 DW? – with  my aunt from 9 35/.. to 10 10/.. (sat talking to Adney from 8 25/.. to 9 25/..) fine day – F 9°. Reaumur –
