I got a five-piece set of paint-and-play stablemates and I resculpted him. Originally he was the g3 Friesian (sculpted by Jane Lunger, 2006) but I gave him a makeover!

@plumbtales's fantastic Blau Hills Resort redo inspired me to try tackling this lot again, so... WIP. Definitely stole borrowed Plumbtales's idea of putting the food stand there--it's the perfect spot for one!

in other news, i'm (finally) getting around to repainting the rest of my psychonauts minifigs, and i'm once again pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sculpt underneath that terrible paintjob. like, this is pretty good! not super detailed, but pretty good, and certainly a lot better than you'd think at first glance
#you can see the arm i had to resculpt (his left/our right) is a little too spindly#i only noticed after the coat of primer had gone on....#well. not going to let it bother me too much lol#but yeah the facial details are actually surprisingly nice#i didn't even strip the original coat of paint i just put a layer of primer on top#i think it'll come out really nicely once it's been properly painted up :)#he will finally be reunited with mini lili and dogen
