Well here's some screenshots from my benchmark of FFXIV Dawntrail. All different variations of either who I play, have played or completely new.
The top is my current main (with a updated look), We will call Nuloh for now. To be honest I'm not happy with the graphical update to the Viera which has brought on my need to change to one of the following bellow.
The second is actually who i used to play, Y'nuloh Tia/Nunh (Y'nuloh Tia is still my character's name), just changed his eye colour (gold) and I'm very happy with how he has come out with the graphical update. He is currently leading in a point system I have to try and work it out.
The third is who I used to play before Y'nuloh many years ago, Yuyuzan Lilizan, my beloved Lalafell. While I do love this character and refell in love with during this benchmark. The point system put him third ( minus points, two lalafells in Scions and kind of a joke chacater).
Finally a new entry to my characters. My wild card. He has no name or lore (-2 points) but I don't see many Elezens especally Duskwights. I am impressed with the update the the Elezens though. not sure about the eyeshadow. He is second in the point system.
Oh also they all have this things in common. Guardian deity is Azeyma, He is from Ul'dah, Gold Eyes, Will be a Dancer main.
Edit: I've narrowed it down to either staying as a Viera or going Lalafell as I have make what I think is good background lore for them which is important to me. Plus I can work on it and add stuff. Loser becomes Retainer also.

- I looked up paranoid personality disorder and. That’s him. Frfr
- He is Anxiety (tm)
- Paranoid personality disorder, anxiety, depression, CPTSD, psychosis… I think that may be it ?

- He also wakes up often through the night. Or well he used to. He’s taking some new medication to prevent psychosis episodes and it makes him Eternally Tired
- So he now sleeps a lot
- Catch him napping on the couch once or twice a day
- He sleeps even better now that he’s got Shin and the two kitties. Bc if something happens they’ll be awake to notice. And the kitties can actually hear n stuff so no worries about that
- He and Mirai actually ended things on pretty good terms back when they were dating. All that anger from Mirai happened like. After they broke up. And (unless Riley says otherwise) it’s not really bc of the breakup
- His purple scarf was originally from Sou but when Mirai was created by Riley I had to change it and say it was a gift when they were dating
- It’s MY OCS I GET TO DO WHAT I WANT *makes an au where Mirai and Zee didn’t break up and worked it all out and they have a healthy relationship together*
- Oh also I have a non death game AU where Zee is a fire dancer. For no other reason than I like firedancing. His outfit is red and sparkly and fitting and he wears a black mesh mask that covers his entire face. He remains completely anonymous and does mostly street performances!! - Anyways. So he got in a big argument with his parents and then got kicked out. Or moved out. I don’t remember. So that’s when he left and went to a small community college
- He wasn’t too smart at first. Like he knew how to read and write but like. That’s the extent of it. He was homeschooled by his parents. But he picked things up quick and soon got fascinated with the social aspects of the city
- Since he basically spent all his life rural, he’d never seen what a city was like and it was a bit of a kinda culture shock to him. But soon he started reading about it and saw how people did in communities. So he formed one
- Yup. Just a normal community.

been so out of loop that not only I'm behind one anime episode, I also forgot volume 10 of the manga also came out a couple of days ago
a) due to watching many adaptations at once, I don't remember where the anime stopped (yet again), I will soon have fun figuring this out
b) obviously, i don't remember where volume 9 ended as technically no other adaptations go far beyond weddings that point, so again, no idea what to expect. reread the ending of volume 9, refell in love with tsuge and minato relationship, and felt even more unprepared for volume 10

Podcasts I'm listening to right now
I saw someone else do this (theirs was specific to narrative fiction, but I'm listening to a lot more than that.)
This will be for recommendations, but also hopefully serve as a reminder to myself down the road.
Part One: The Ol' Reliables
Judge John Hodgman
One of the first podcasts I even began listening to, and it's never NOT been on my subscription list. Even though it can be predictable (once you've heard 500 of these, you can guess where the rulings are headed) it's still delightful. Love John, Love Jesse. Love the whole deal. 8/10
My Brother, My Brother, and Me
I came somewhat late to the party. So, after the most-problematic character traits of the boys were gone. 2 of the 3 of them always make me laugh. In my opinion, I only fail to enjoy about 10 of the episodes. 9/10
99% Invisible
The GOAT. Funny, fascinating, and well-produced. It's been on my list for like 10 years? And it has introduced me to other phenomenal podcasts, books, and people. 10/10 no notes.
No Such Thing as a Fish
4 (usually) researcher for QI talk about weird facts they learned. It's great. 9/10
Sawbones
Dr. Sydney McElroy and her clown husband discuss medical history. Although really, there are quite a few episodes of currently-relevant issues as well. Good stuff, though not without it's flat points. 8/10
Welcome to Night Vale
Again, an all-timer. Though to be honest, it fell off my list for a while there. But when I went back and listened to the first 100 again to get caught back up, I refell in love. Great world, great writing, great narrator. Some of the deeper lore stuff doesn't always land with me (I still don't know how Huntokar like, matters). 8/10
Cautionary Tales
The newest-comer to this slate. Fascinating stories told in a cunning way. Which is to say, sometime manipulative storytelling to pad out the 30 minutes or whatever. They hook you, then you find out that they lied up front sometimes. And sometimes they have ads for Crypto...which is so discordant on a podcast about watching out for scams. 6/10 (2 points off for their annoying and poorly-chosen ads, honestly. May be a ploy to herd people to their Patreon.)
The Adventure Zone
The "hit-or-miss"est of this list. Some seasons are soaring and riveting. Some are not. Sometimes it's the GM, sometimes it's the setting, sometimes it's the system. There's a narrow needle to thread between RP and explaining what the hell is going on. When they nail it, I'm sold. 7/10 overall.

I'm properly awake now and some time has passed so I feel a bit more free to say something longer on the loss of Takahashi 先生.
I wish I was an artist who could draw him a lovely picture of all the wonderful people I've met through ygo and send it to his close friends and family so his close ones could see how much of an impact his work made on me. But instead I'll share some stories and some words in hope that it can capture some aspect of the complex enotions and situation.
A boy from my elementary school was way more into the card game part of it than I was at the time. We didn't keep contact after we went to different middle schools, but he gave me a card one day, ironically actually, a Widespread Ruin card he had hole-punched and put a piece of string through I can only assume to mimic the Kaiba brothers' necklaces. I still have this card in my box (though I got rid of the string) and whenever I see a Widespread Ruin, I think of him, and that card sitting in my collection somewhere, and how ygo made a turbulant elementary school experience full of clashes and frustration and fights with teachers into something I could find some enjoyment out of.
I remember going to the library which would have random volumes of the manga at times, never did I really get to read it in order. But every time there was one I hadn't read I'd jump on it and usually finish the volume only an hour after getting home. When I got to the age I could actually buy stuff myself many weeks of saved up allowances also went into buying manga volumes that I'd finish reading in under 2 hours as a kid.
In highschool I refell into ygo upon deciding randomly to rewatch the anime subtitled now that I knew how to access the original Japanese. I hyperfixtated on it and even dragged a friend into watching it too who knew nothing about yugioh. After a year of taking Spanish for my language requirement and hating the teacher, I decided to switch to Japanese on a whim thinking at the very least, even if I sucked at it at least I could read some ygo stuff with it, and I met one of the best teachers in the world. I took 2 years, participated in an exhange program, an experience I'll never forget and was very grateful I got the chance.
In college, there was a gaming club, and only once in a blue moon did I actually play the themed game of the week. Usually, I just found a few of my friends and dueled instead.
I've now also met many a friends online through yugioh too. People I talk to daily now and it's hard to imagine my life without them now.
The anniversary pack of alternative art cards I bought forever ago with KTs initials signed in the corner of the card art hold new meaning now.

When it comes to death and loss I'm a bit of a weird one, relying on logic more than anything to process it and navigate through it. It hurts emotionally of course, but it tends to be a bit different from how most people experience it. Yet despite that logic, and despite me being atheist, a pharse comes to mind to me. My first Japanese teacher moved away after my first year and when it came time to say goodbye, she said she didn't want us to say さよなら / sayonara / goodbye, Farwell.
She told us to say またね / mata ne. ね is a way to make things a question in some cases or say "isn't it?" at the end of a statement. また / Mata is a way to say "again" and "also" when it's written alone. When put together, the meaning can become "until next time"
