Been laying low and spending time with the family lately while I heal up. That is going good so far, btw. Have had a couple physical therapy appointments so far and it feels really good to start moving my left arm more again. Especially since it has certainly atrophied a bit over the past month. Will share a post soon to show you. . We got the family a Quest 2 VR setup for Christmas and the thing is AMAZING! VR has come a LOOOOONG way since the last time I tried it. Progress update. It’s been almost two months since my accident. I almost have my face back (although it will never be the same as it was. I’m okay with that.) I may have another infection in my jaw- waiting to see. I’ll know more on next Wednesday. I can open my mouth two fingers wide! *does happy dance* I can start lifting light items with my right side. I also got the okay to start working out again! *light duty, such as running a mile...or two...or even three. 😊* one day at a time. So excited to see healing. Thank you everyone for the well wishes. My baby’s surgery went well. They repaired his torn ligaments in his bicep and rotator cuff after a fall on black ice last Christmas. Thank you Dr. Rolando Izquierdo for patching my baby up and to all the surgical staff for taking the precautions to keep him safe during this crazy time we are all now facing globally. Now my baby can finally focus on a road to recovery and put the three months of chronic pain behind him.
