I think he's SO tragic and interesting. All the atrocities he did but considered necessary I'm his desperation in a fight against the clock to save his kingdom. It hits so hard having heard about him from other characters or the places themselves, speaking of him in such a grandiose way, yet also with this air of mystery per say, not knowing about him very much or any of the things that transpired in the past, and then just seeing his corpse lying there like just any other ordinary bug,,, idk man. Something something he suffered a fate just like any commoner or the dirtiest beast did. And the whole thing with the pure vessel of him getting attached to it by the end and that's what made it Not Pure just augh. My heart (especially seeing the hollow knights cut dream dialogue AHUUUGH AAAHH). His actions aren't excusable, but they are understandable, which makes him a great morally gray character imo, and even gets me to feel just BAD for him. He's just *chef's kiss* incredible, the tragedy of it all, i really hope we could get to know more about him, i love him a lot

if they put abby and hoyt together that's just unrealistic. why would either of them go for eachother with calian right there
