Yuu who speaks of Britain fondly, but always vague and never specific, never divulging the details about the rotting underbelly beneath the pretty corpse that it was.

They are not a fool. They know full well that their Britain is wretched, and maybe ugly but even if it's just from a stranger that knows no better, they want to hear, even if it's just once, that their Britain is beautiful. Because they love Britain—their shining star that will burn them away.

(And maybe it was also because Morgan! Yuu may be a ruler, a tyrant, and a monster but they are also a parent, and compared to everyone in the twst cast they are all children to Yuu. So of course, of course they would not speak of a fairytale so horrid and scary. Of course they would not make these children worry when they already had so much in their plate.)

Morgan! Yuu who calls Grim their fairy knight (unsure which one but probably either Percival or Kay) and also maybe the rest of the first years. But there is no ceremony because Yuu knows it would be cruel of them to rip then from a life they are already happy and content with. (Because their round table consisted of monsters that wanted to be treated like a person's and of course Yuu gave that to them by taking them all under their rule, and the people here whom they see as knights of their own are already happy even without them taking them in, so why bother really?).

Everyone telling Yuu "we'll see if your Britain is as beautiful as you say it is, when we visit it." Not knowing that there will be no such event happening and Yuu who smiles and says "I look forward to it." Understanding they'll never actually get to hear those words.

Chile anyways. [Walks into the ocean sobbing]

D..

Devastated.

Morgan!Yuu carving out the home and acceptance they had wanted to receive while in Faerie Britain and yet even still, they still think about their home—what it could've been.

And by doing so, they drop tidbits of their Britain, give their friends hope that the place they've hailed from isn't some burning hell hole begging to die. So they give their friends a wonderful dream to cover up the reality of it all.

I can't fucking move.

(raynon) Morgan Le Fay! Yuu who is cold and aloof who strikes fear into everyone because even in another world they are still the winter ruler and that carries in everything they do. But because fairies are stagnant and unchanging their kindness from days bygone, from their days as the savior tonelico, rain witch aesc inevitably seeps through and even their ever bright starry wish to save Britain too.

The boys who learn of their story and realize that even if Morgan! Yuu is happy here in Twst they will inevitably find a way to go back, no matter what in order to protect their Britain. Even if it kills them. Even when it does kill them.

(and it does. It does. When they find a way to go and visit Yuu. All they hear of is the cheering of everyone that the witch is dead and their friends mangled corpse that couldn't even be properly buried.)

Just fell to my knees and curled up into a tight ball in a corner somewhere dark and safe 🙂🙂🙂 my life is so over 😁😁😁

Morgan!Yuu allowing that star of hope to glimmer just a little in Twisted Wonderland before inevitably dragging themselves back to Fae Britain where they will die in the most cruelest fashion—their one, last true piece of kindness exploited and then having their friends witness such a horror is so —

Don't imagine silver and sebek and possibly Malleus seeing Morgan!Yuu's dream of Britain and their happy days w Baochan and their knights and their people don't think about when they reach the dream their dead body desecrated by the same people hey had done their best to protect, don't think about how all Morgan says is "oh you weren't supposed to see that lol" hinting that all of that did happen, anyways backstreet boys alright?

*Me taking the FGO/TWST mc adeuce and lostbelt king Yuu a step further by having Yuu a servant that had died for them during their time in FGO pt1 only to meet in a lostbelt timeline where they (adeuce) needed to kill them to progress and can't bring it in themselves to resummon but somehow meet in TWST again after the lostbelts are over in very painfully normal circumstances which changes a lot of the context of their interactions in TWST and i am going to explode if i take this any further [dies]*

The only thing I'm getting from this is that I need to fight the person who hurt you Raynon.

No but like watching your friend sacrifice themselves in a cruel revelation that it's the only way to let everyone else progress and survive the horrors of humanity being incinerated only to meet the version of them that ached for home so much that they were willing to create a crude fantasy that contributed to the world being bleached.

Just to meet back in TWST.

And having to be normal ab it.

Just to meet back in the same place they had begged to be released from.

And having to relive those memories of watching your friend die. Being afraid to summon them because you don't want to prolong their suffering even if it's just a facet. A fraction. A version of them that and been brought to the extremes of desperation.
