You know how you know you've woken up to a world that has been rained on in the night? It's harder to get out of bed but yet you're not cranky or annoyed. There's a smile lingering on your face and a lightness around. You hop into the shower and the water is cooler than you remember from last morning. You turn on the heat and it reminds you of school mornings when the new academic year began. That also makes you crave hot chocolate milk so you decide today you're gonna go easy on the coffee and way too hard on chocolate. The birds sing just the same but this morning you actually notice. Everything is greener and yet not brighter. And then you see a text from your friend at 4.53 am 'broooo it's raining!
