DINER GROCERY COMBO RECOLOUR by technicallyswagpizza
Probably one of the easiest on the eye colour schemes EA has ever come up with, but I still disliked it enough so here she is all nice and grey. I also replaced the posters on the windows with something less offensive to the eyes! Sam's Market Diner has been relaunched and rebranded as Village Shop and Grill, because Sam got trapped in the pool and has unfortunately passed away. Oh no! Anyway.

Because I'm a lazy bozo I took all the screenshots for my rabbithole recolours months ago and at the time I forgot to pull my lighting mod out + my Reshade was on while taking the picture above, so uh, what you see here is _almost_ what you get as my Reshade preset is not particularly strong ⁽ ˘ ˑ ˘ ⁾

Rabbitholes
Does anyone know of any cc rabbitholes with an entirely new mesh (not rugs) (not recolours) that are available? It feels like if it were possible there would be a few of them online after like, a decade of modding, but I can't find any. I'm just curious to see if anyone has already overcome the problems/questions I'm running into

i was building the other day and noticed that this menu board from ambitions wasn’t recolourable (why EA?!) so i went ahead and edited it. i also added some extra graphics that i extracted from ea rabbitholes

Today I’m happy to release Praaven Reworked, a new version of Praaven by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims, edited by Simsmidgen and me. As usual this project took longer than expected. But with the help of our many fantastic testers all is well that ends well.
Simsmidgen and I tweaked some things more to our liking, replaced broken CC, reduced the overall amount of required CC, recoloured EA objects and/or replaced them, fixed major routing issues, reduced world file size, replaced/fixed all those bloody arches and stacked staircases, thinned spawners, improved terrain painting (at least we think so). We added the two festival lots by lowrisim and tweaked them a bit and also made sure that the tomb can be solved (yes, there is a tomb, go looking for it!). We tried to leave the world as original as possible though (apart from the things that didn’t work well). Public release is with permission of potato-ballad-sims.
The original version of Praaven was created by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims and a lot of helpers and can be found at MTS. The original is NOT required for this version to work. Neither will they conflict so you can have both installed at the same time if you wish. You may want to check for doubles in the CC folder in this case though.

Note:
You may still find the odd slipped tile or encounter stuck sims. Especially horses in town will be a minor nightmare so we recommend to use one of the larger lots outside town for more horse-friendly gameplay.
While we were able to reduce lag due to routing issues it is still a large world that uses most of the map, so it might not be suitable for lower-end computers.
We also recommend to use NRAAS mods to reduce the amount of wild horses and strays (or even turn them off entirely) and to disable water taxis. And for a smoother and more stable gameplay in general.
Praaven comes with beautiful custom lighting which we enhanced by adding Nilxis’ Realistic Clouds. So you might want to remove your global lighting/weather mod if you use one and give it a try.
All screenshots are by simsmidgen who in addition uses the Milky Way Night sky by Nilxis. They are unedited.
We added some hidden custom subway rabbitholes (one in each region of the map, the lots are called Staging Post, Ferry, or you’ll see Mysterious Huts). If you prefer a more authentic form of traveling, please remove them first from the map before removing the custom subway rabbitholes or they will be replaced by the default subway rabbithole.

Functional and Decorative Bookshelf
Separated from the bookstore-rabbithole. I did this ages ago, to explain to someone how to separate parts of rabbitholes, and it’s been occupying a folder in my unfinished projects ever since.
Comes as a decorative item found under sculptures (180§) and as a functional bookshelf found under bookshelves (175§). They’re independent of each other, you can install both or only one. The functional shelf has geostates, so it will empty or fill, if you add or remove books. It’s not the smoothest transition, but I’m very proud of it!
It’s not recolourable.

Sims 3 Rabbit Holes Square Rugs
Based on Jynx’s Rabbitholes, we decided to make our own Rabbit Holes.
We needed these RH for Oaksoak Hollow and we didn’t need them circle: if you need to create your own community lot, those rugs are the solution you were looking for. Put them with your other .packages into your Mods folder :)
And you know what? Do whatever you want with them: use them, share them, don't share them. Just have fun!
Those 18 Rabbit Holes are made with a brand new mesh and fully recolourable ...

I’m sorry, I don’t think I ever finished playtesting it before I got fed up with trying to run TS3! I believe it was very close to being finished though!
I still have a backup that includes the Sims3Pack of the world, some required CC/Store Items, and screenshots. However, I haven’t opened it up in over a year.

Note: Obviously, this is a completely unsupported world! Play at your own risk! However, you can do whatever you like with this world, but please credit me if you alter and reupload!

Rather pleased how these rabbithole recolours turned out! Some are more subtle than others, but I really just needed some more plain old nordic countryside looking ones that are easy on the eyes and blends in.

Rabbithole Edits
Randomly uploaded, for backup and because I fixed my internet :)
Included are: Default recolours of the Pets townhall and the Midnight Hollow school. Originals are required for those. The townhall still has a blue-green roof in map-view.
Edit of the Monte Vista criminal hideout (standalone, Monte Vista is not required). I changed the colour of the roof, and relocated the entrance slots to the front door. It’s using a bookstore/business script from Island Paradise; I don’t know if it will work without that EP. You can change the script in Sims3PE (See here+here), or in game (with this mod).
