FADES WAVES AND TAPERS -CONVERSION COLLECTION

So I recently reached 500 followers, which is like CRAZY because I've only been posting content for a month?! The overwhelming amount of love and support I've received over the past month has made me misty-eyed on more than one occasion, ngl. Y'all have been so sweet and so wonderful and so extremely encouraging, I'm so proud to be part of this community💙! So, as a little thank-you present for everyone and as a nice end-cap for all the black male hair spam I did for Black History Month I've decided to drop a conversion collection of 21 male hairs themed around waves, fades and tapers for y'all!

Set contains 21 hairs for for Teen ➤ Elder Males

all of these hairs are gameplay safe! most of them are around 500 polys, the largest ones clock in at about 5k poly at most.

1024x textures

hairs are too short for root/tip controls so they're only 2 channels

credits, preview pictures, links to originals, poly counts and individual download links for every hair is under the cut.

these are meshes! the hair is NOT painted on the sims head like BG hairs!

but on the brightside that means they don't get that shiny look painted on hairs have.

some hairs have slight clipping issues around the temples but hopefully nothing too crazy tbh.

ATTENTION: OUTDATED VERSION. UPDATED DEFAULT ON MY PROFILE

Hello! Sorry I disappeared for a bit, I had a summer class and didn’t have the motivation to do anything for the sims for a while.

This is a follow-up to my post here, where I preview what I was doing and why.

This download is two skinblends: one default replacement skin that covers the usual range, and one non-default skin that expands on that range into darker tones. I was fed up with how little detail was showing up on my sims with dark skin so I decided to take some time to figure out how to solve this, and I came up with what I explained in my previous post. The skins are for all ages and genders: baby to elder. Let me know if for some reason it isn’t showing up for one of those categories.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Put these in the Overrides subsection of your Mods folder. Make sure you don’t have a default replacement skin in your game already. You will need BOTH the Default Skin and the Tone Ramp Replacement files for your skin to display correctly. The other two files are non-default, but still highly recommended as they provide a wider range of skin tones.

KNOWN ISSUES:

**THIS IS AN OUTDATED VERSION. IT IS ALSO MISSING THE CHILD LIFE STAGE**

Scalp on the dark tone for default replacement/light tone for the addon has seams near the forehead. I tried my best to make it less noticeable, but with the skill and technology I currently have, this was the best I could do. I may go back and fix it later, and of course if someone more skilled wants to do it in the meantime, feel free to do so and tag me lol.

Just follow the other creators’ TOUs. Feel free to tag me if you use these or make something with them! I’d love to see it.

4t3 Conversion of HappyLifeSims' Rose's Lunch Dress

A 4t3 conversion of a beautiful 1910's dress for all your ladies! I put blood sweat and tears on this one, so I really hope you like it lol! I took a long time to convert it! Enjoy! <3

Known Problems:

The lace clips with the skirt when the sim is walking. In other animations it's fine tho!

In darker colors, a beige outline gets visible around the transparent lace parts. I tried fixing it in multiple ways (changing shaders, texture manipulation, and even turning the whole thing into an acc), but nothing worked. Sorry if you wanted to use it in black or something else!

The dress is not compatible with high boots nor gloves. Kinda obvious but wanted to make sure!

If you find any more problems, please let me know!

LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!

* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this slider by gruesim!

NOTES (PLEASE READ):

You'll notice that there are two packages on the download: one is the actual dress, and the other one is an overlay/color mix acc, which you can find on the socks category. It recolors the leafs and the underlayer on the dress, as you can see on the preview. Without it the leafs only have a solid color, so you need to use the acc for it to look good! Both have the same thumbnail!
