Plan of action is in place for job quitting and pursuing dreams of being a full time artist …. Feels like a huge leap of faith (one I’m not sure I’m ready for) but planning things out is helping

The very first shabbat service I attended ever (it was in another country)? A bar mitzvah.

And yesterday, when I took my uncle to his first ever shabbat service? A bar mitzvah.

Ooohoohoo thank you! Yeah I can share some hcs - I’ll draw more for the au soon too!
-Obviously Betty is taking Simon’s role, and Bonnie is taking Marceline’s in the au
-since a flood took out Ooo instead of the great mushroom war they have to travel through a lot of flooded/dilapidated buildings, so they wear raincoats and rain boots to work with that
-Betty’s Magic Man hat is used the same way Simon used his crown - she only puts it on for emergencies and each time she does she gets a lil crazier afterwards
-Betty’s doing her best to be a good caretaker to Bonnie but she’s not always the best influence
Simon: “Vandalism is wrong, Marcy”
Betty: “Remember Bonnibel, trespassing is only a crime if you get caught”
-Bonnie usually fights with Betty over resorting to the Magic Hat when she does - Bonnie feels that, with her gadgets and genius, Betty should be putting more trust in her
-But Betty’s not about to put that much responsibility on a kid, no matter how smart she is
-Where in the og show Marceline learned to cope with Simon becoming the Ice King, Bonnie has a much harder time watching Betty become ‘The Magic Ma’am’
-Bonnie ends up being the one going stir crazy trying to put Betty back down the road
-At one point ‘Magic Ma’am’ Betty wanted Simon back so much she made a small time portal to the past and kidnapped him to the present - effectively starting past Betty’s downward spiral into madness
-Simon is doing a little better at adapting to Magic Ma’am Betty - he knows she’s a little off her rocker but he’s happy to at least be there for her during a mentally vulnerable time
-Betty likes to make little magic birds for Simon all the time

I find it very telling that I can count the number of Jumblr blogs I've blocked for being bigoted in various ways, but I can't even begin to tell you how many goyim I've had to block for being antisemitic.
It really sucks on the rare occasion I have had to unfollow/block fellow Jews for being Idk, queerphobic, ableist or racist, but it feels like the amount of antisemitic goyim I've had to block has been endless.
It goes to show you I feel safer being a mixed race, queer, fat, disabled person in Jewish spaces than I do being a Jewish person in goyische spaces for all my other identities.
