Give a round of applause to Q because THIS is exactly how this situation needed to be handled
Short and to the point
Addressing and apologizing in the perspective of "I admit my mistakes and apologize"
His points were straight forward and understandable
He offers a fix to the situation by paying the admins
Quackity also addresses the wilbur situation last, as that is not the real point of the stream but meant to be spoken
He tries to keep his tone sharp and authoritative, even though he cracks out, the viewers know what he's trying to convey

YD: Hello, I'm from Korean.
Letshugo: Hello, I'm from Germany.
YD: Can you see what I'm saying?
Letshugo: Yes, I understand.
YD: Hey, this is really amazing. I speak Korean, and you speak German, but we have a conversation!
Letshugo: Yes, that's really awesome.
YD: I'm a Minecraft grandma who has been playing Minecraft for 14 years.
Letshugo: 14 years? How old are you?
YD: You don't need to know. 😑
Letshugo: Oh, ok.

i also just want to point out the qsmp members' commitment to like never letting the inactive members die. like dantdm logged on twice and is canonically dead and everyone continues to blame mysterious happenstance on him. spreen is canonically dead and yet people are still like namedropping him even tho the house façade he built has been demolished and also probably consumed by a mountain. they meme on kameto who's barely been on except that time he was a fed spy that was iconic as hell. they just immortalize their members and they're always so happy to see old faces come back and it lowkey makes me emotional lmfaoo like missa barely logged on for a while but goddamn nobody forgot his name bc philza can't go one day without mentioning him and mariana barely logs on but every time fit saw the homeless mariana in roier's city no matter what he'd stop dead and tell it "come home" and when slime came back to the server for elections after having logged off for the last like two months everyone was still excited to meet him bc the others had kept his memories on the server fresh and alive, maxo died canonically in the nuke and pierre pasted his face all over the server, luzu vanished for months and we never forgot him either thanks to the computers and foolish's wack ass family tree. like when purgatory teams were chosen and team red constantly joked about how it would be so over for the other teams once germán logged on despite the fact that germán had only ever logged on ONCE, the way they cheered when they snatched rubius in the split of green despite the fact that rubius hadn't logged on more than twice since march. they just keep the names alive all the time and it's like
it just makes me really happy to see. like it makes me really happy. like the admin team and the members alike are like 'no way in HELL are we letting your memory go' like damn once ur on isla quesadilla you really are stuck as an islander forever :D

Understanding that Quackity has made massive mistakes managing Quackity Studios and paying the workers that the studio has employed and recognizing that he does not deserved to be doxxed, stalked, had threats made to his life, and face the risk of being swatted (which is especially dangerous given that he is a recognizably Latino man living in the United States of America and he is not originally from the country) are two concepts that need to coexist. I typically really dislike these types of posts, but this cannot slide. This doxxing is not deserved, nor can it be reasonably justified, and that should not be a statement I have to further explain.

tbh i think that even unwinnable fights should be winnable. some of the BEST fights i've ever run as a dm were ones i built kill the players (in a fun way. I had some cutscenes prepped so even the loss would be a different flavour of win)- but then they were clever bastards and managed to either win the fights or pull themselves out of trouble. I think it's perfectly fine to plan for a fight that players aren't supposed to win, but you need to let them. if they can't win, they can't lose, and the meaning of that encounter is diminished. do that too many times, and they stop trusting you to give them roleplay prompts and start expecting to sit there waiting while you drive the story for them.
but if they can win... if there is always the chance to win, no matter how impossible the odds, then they ALWAYS have hope. they always get invested. they feel the big emotions of success or the big emotions of failure, and you fucking Win as a dm/roleplay prompter/lead bastard.

Reminder that the qsmp has more admins than just the ones that play eggs. It’s entirely possible and very likely that the random federation worker with an entirely different admin number is not one of the eggs.

All my heart goes to the admins
Unpaid artwork is theft.
Unpaid acting work is exploitation.
Some devs were barely paid, same for builders. Eggs' admins weren't paid for their rp job.
Translations? Unpaid.
Background checks? Never done.
People got fired for being burned out or not available due to personal issues. They were FIRED, from a VOLUNTEER post that was UNPAID for not being ''available enough'' (which doesn't seem to be a very defined criteria)
Lea got paid 169€.
The minimum wage in France is (very roughly) 1200€.
A plastic figurine isn't compensation for all of that unpaid work.
It's a nice gift, at most, and here, it mostly feels like a joke.
The admins are the backbone of the server, from lore planning, translations, roleplay, builds, devs, art, clips and art gathering, designs...
Without them, the QSMP literally wouldn't be able to function.
2.
That's the number of french admins on the mc server. There's only one left now.
Let's remember how the french ccs kept getting forgotten about. And now, let's realize that Lea said that multiple times, they had to quickly add stuff about the french because the others had forgotten.
It happened often enough to be noticed by the viewers.
It happened even more behind the scenes.
To say that i feel sick is an understatement.
Pay your artists.
Pay your employees.
Not allowing them to speak to each other only reveals how wrong you know you are: if there was nothing to hide, you wouldn't be scared to let them talk.
(oh and also: not allowing ANONYMOUS people to express themselves about ABUSERS? That's fucked. Support Shelby and all the victims, always.)

i am a sunny defender until the day i die; that is my shining star, my little baby girl who deserves the world. but dear god. some of the people “defending” sunny by only dragging leo to hell and back without making any attempt to understand leos character are going to be the death of me……
qsmp fandom i love you all but a select few of you get on my nerves sometimes </3 but hey at least on here it isnt as bad as twitter

listen this may be a hot take that’s okay i’m fine with that i just feel that the @everyone main tag fandom vagueposts about sending admins hate and/or targeting ccs is . abyssal nonsense to post to tumblr. like you’re not wrong im not disagreeing with any of you— it just feels fruitless to post that on a website where none of us have direct contact with any admins or creators. if you see it in the main or side tags feel free to call it out, i think we should be doing that, but like the aimless vagueposting is not only reductive but directly adding to the negativity you’re trying to combat

purgatory fueled my obsession for people management stuff and i have many thoughts about team compositions
i think it was a fun idea and I hope the admins see how it went this time and learn from the teams. They did a good job and looking back some stuff could be improved but still they succeeded.
Most of my suggestions for improvement are for ways to balance out viewership and reducing the drama sicne that was a big issue in the first purgatory. It was overwhelmingly one team and people dont understand how to deal with a biased POV on both sides.
So imma ramble about stuff to consider when making purgatory teams. I admit this is mostly about red and blue teams since i dont know much about how green worked:
Players minecraft skill: this one is obvious you dont want one team to be compeltely overpowering the rest. This includes pvp, building, resource gathering etc. There has to be a balance in how many can do each thing as well
how much time they play: another obvious one all teams need people who play a lot to have a good chance. Also consider the timezones so that they can actually play together
compatibility between members: there has to be a balance between people who get along well and those who dont. This one was missed in purgatory sicne red had many members who were already close to each other and played together a lot. On the other hand blue had mostly players who didnt interact much and even some who did not get along at all (tubbo and aypierre) or who dont work well together (tina and bbh)
Viewership of the members: this one is not for gameplay but for the experience for both streamers and the community. We clearly saw that red had overwhelmingly more viewers than the rest causing a large bias towards them in the community. Even ccs mentioned this one so it is a big thing to consider
consider the playstyles of the members: the audence of qsmp is primarily here for the rp and story so obviously the team that had the most who did that was easily the most popular. Red team did an amazing job with the rp and building an identity the audience got attached to. The blue team was more competitive and it was amazing for those who are more interested in those elements or who are very invested in the characters. Neither playstyle is better but its good to consider a balance so that we dont again get most people attached to a single group
So overall I would make the teams a lot more balanced in these ways so that not only is the competition fun but also there is less drama in the community
I think if a streamer feels the need to say that the other team was the main charcter of the story then something was wrong there
in the end however id say the priority is making sure the competition feels tense and its not just a single team sweeping the whole game. which is why the constant rule changing was good it kept hte game balanced

it's more than fair for anyone to "play dirty" by not going along with agreements. as long as the game allows them to do it and it isnt an obvious exploit, it's just playing the game.
