((1. after using the new post editor vs the old post editor and switching back and forth between them on my blogs, i gotta say! old post editor fucks

((though the new post editor has a TON of QoL changes that elevator to more of an equal status ((like, being able to tell when a special thing like italics starts and stops is a fucking amazing feature and i wish it was on the old post editor ((or being able to edit tags, or being able to make text BIG or BIGGER, or things like that

((but running with the old post editor for a while on the qkd blog has brought about some really funny/interesting bits!

((this gimmick is really fun. it feels like ive been running the blog for months but its only been less than one. i love that blog

((2. speaking of--if things havent been obvious so far, then lemme say it outright right now ((i am going through the entirety of poppy's story on that blog, pre-poppy to... an ending, of sorts ((which means events will just sort of happen over there, in slight congruence to when they happened in poppy. such aaaaaaaaas

((this whole thing! in fact, it's happening in a thread right now~.

((at the end of arcs/events i plan on tagging all of the previous posts that took place in that event as like... a relevant tag, so that i might chrono them and maybe my things can be read as a sort of story. this is... going to be a pain. but! i am incredibly committed to all of this now. i am excited. things are going to fucking happen.

((uh, sorry for all the kit-blog talk. i am just kind of. really excited for that blog! i have this base guideline already set for me to follow and i get to explore how this MF goes through the entirety of what-we-know in poppy. including somee other things that are at play because of the nature of just. knowing more than my characters know

((having characters like lila and chicadino just making funni appearances this early into the story is just so much fun you dont even know.

((sidenote bonus thing but i really want chicadino to interact with @/fallen-symphony crew because like. he's a villain, with an outrageous lucky star at that. it'd be REALLY FUCKING FUN. i wanna do arthur interactions IN GENERAL, REALLY

((but alas. there is literally no conceivable way i could approach first about this without majorly breaking things and his knowledge on the world rn. his little birdy would not know about multiverse theory (yet).

((i aint stoppin' playing carol--i love this dumbass just as much as i love kit ((but man oh man i look at the amount of threads i have on here versus the amount i have on kit and its like

((well of course im over there more--i can actually count the things i have to do over there. and one of them finished! and another one has a finish line i can conceivably get to! cant say much for the other threads but im sure a finish line can be gotten.

((i do feel bad that activity has waned over here. again, carol has a lot of shit still happening and a lot of things i still havent properly addressed. the ideas are in my head, its just ((pen has to touch paper, y'know? that's it, that's all it is. i dont wanna take on new threads here because i get this anxiety that its just gonna stall me from actually doing things. i already have important threads that do need to get finished that i simply havent touched in like, weeks.

((maybe i just need to find these threads and hyper focus on them and then like, one or two more things. have something that can keep my sanity, well, sane. because otherwise it is going to be very hard for me to keep up things over here.

((i pray that this same issue doesnt occur on qkd. ive been thinking about implementing a thread cap of sorts, just so the overwhelming thing doesnt happen.

How To Type in Korean

Learning how to read and write Korean is one thing, but typing can seem like a whole nother beast. It doesn’t have to be scary or hard though. Here’s a quick guide on how to get started and how to type in Korean!

Help! I Don’t Have a Korean Keyboard! Where Do I Start?

Not a problem! You have lots of options.

Install the Korean keyboard to your computer’s operating system or mobile phone

Use online keyboard websites (even Google Translate has one)

Branah

Free Online Writing

Buy pre-made stickers with 한글 on them and stick them on your keyboard

DIY 한글 stickers with something like transparent tape and sharpie and cover your keys

Buy a silicone cover that fits your keyboard

Print out a layout of the 한글 keyboard and put it somewhere you can look at it while you type

Ultimately, you’re going to want to memorize the locations of the 한글 characters by heart because it will make it easier and faster to touch type, but it’s totally okay to start out with the tools you need to succeed.

How to Type in Korean

As we probably know, Korean words are made up of consonants and vowels. On Korean keyboards, the consonants are all on the left hand side, with the vowels on the right. To double the consonant, making a 쌍 character, hold down the shift key. However, only the ㅔ and ㅐ characters can be doubled with the shift key into ㅖ and ㅒ because ㅠㅕㅛ all have their own dedicated keys.

To type Korean words, we start with the starting consonant on the left side, then type the vowel on the right side and an ending consonant 받침 if there is one. Just like creating words when writing, the pattern is the same: CV, CVC or CVCC.

Spaces are only needed for 띄어쓰기, or spacing between words for legibility. Otherwise, you can just type all the way through; Korean keyboards are able to automatically figure out where one word ends and the next begins.

Examples:

ㅂㅏㅇ (qkd) --> 방

ㅇㅣㄹㄱㅇㅓㅇㅛ (dlrfdjdy)--> 읽어요

ㅎㅏㄴㄱㅜㄱㅇㅓ ㄱㅗㅇㅂㅜㅎㅐㅇㅛ (rksrnrdj rhdqngody) --> 한국어 공부해요

Tip: The typing pattern for Korean words will always start left side-right side so get in the habit of that rhythm! Of course the rhythm will change depending on the 한글 in your words — sometimes it’ll go left-right-left-left-right-left if you’re typing a word like 안녕, or left-right-left-left-left-right-left for 닭발 — but you’ll always start on the left and then go to the right.

((technically, yes! corazon and neera are almost-official-but-not-really muses of this blog and

((i love it!!! the interactions they both get are really fun and its a blast playing as them.

((carol will forever stay as the main character of this blog, but its nice and freeing to know that i can just have cory and neera in my metaphorical back pocket and people will eat it up.

((i think id like to do more ask memes with them since i have lots of thoughts about them that ive kind of alluded to in threads, but never officially, and ask memes would be the EASIEST way to do that. talk about those things i mean.

((i would also like to open up a couple blogs in the near future. ive been thinking about making a blog for my dnd oc for a while now, because i have a lot of ideas for that

((id also like to make a blog for, well, kit darling, as i think that could be super interesting and id love to explore some of the stuff i set up in that one alt! ask but i still fear about bringing my attention away from my main girl, carol. balancing muses is hard and i know kit would need to be in a new blog entirely for me to do all that i wanna do with the character.

((my bestie tells me i have a thing for cats and foxes. which, that lines up pretty well with my love of kit darling and carol tea. i also apparently love the ''person who likes to steal'' rope? which also lines up. my dnd character in my bestie's campaign is a thief.

((though if you want my opinion, i think i gravitate towards characters who have something deeply wrong with them ((or characters who feel like they might have something deeply wrong with them. ((pinkie pie, carol tea, twilight sparkle, kit darling, amy rose, homura akemi, rika furude ((and im sure there's more, but! ((all these characters--with the exception of homura--are super happy-go-lucky characters who usually have this SUPER happy disposition about them. ((and all of these characters, because of this--including homura, excluding amy--can be either headcanon'd to have or explicitly have some real fucked up problems. ((the pinkie pie/pinkamena dynamic is fascinating and while i ran my pinkie blog i wish i explored it more outside of ''ponka happy pinka sad''. [kind of using the fanon mlp sense with this stuff.] ((and then the thing that's happening with carol now, and then kit, homura and furude all having some sort of fucked up thing that happens to them/has happened to them in canon

QKD is probably my top choice because i LOVE her and i think itd be fun to have a kit darling rp-er. the dichotomy of a royal queen with daddy issues is real and sounds fun and i am HERE for it ((if i ever DID do QKD itd definitely be pre poppy. more interesting that way, more open for ships, more ways to explore her character. then i could sprinkle in events from the webcomic here and there and start to explore lucky stars and yada yada yada. ((would it technically be a fucked up re-telling of poppy o'possum, after a while? probably??? but that sounds like fun! ((as well, i am sure anyone who actively pays attention to this blog notices the little tidbits here and there of me throwing other characters from FP out there. ((i joke with sonar-mun that im slowly turning into a multimuse but its kind of because there's no other FP RPers...? ((so i feel like i can just throw myself HARD into some of these other characters and vaguely explore their ideas while also expanding on this dumb bisexual kitty

((that being said, pre-azure's-lilac-existing i was gonna make my own sideblog with lilac--or i was planning to anyway--with it kind of being a side thing to carol? i wanted it to somehow be a self contained story that wouldnt last long but i dont know what story id want to tell ((just that i think the ''wandering avalician'' moniker is neat and id like to explore lilac's feelings on things, like liking carol or how she feels about her parents or how she feels about merga or what have you. there's a lot there and she arguably got a lot more than carol as far as ''neat little tidbits'' in FP2 ((but also azure's lilac is fucking amazing and i think id rather interact with their lilac as far as lilac interactions go than like, do things with my own lilac ((green scarf girl is fun and she's got a lot of shit but the point of rp is to interact wtih OTHER PEOPLE!!!! if i could, if my narrative would allow me, id make them just The Lilac of this blog and you'd see carol quip at them every other second ((but i dont know how to make that work when my lilac is firmly a thing that exists? she's distinct enough from their lilac to actually and unironically be her own thing. if carol interacted it'd like, be obvious that it wasnt her lilac ((the next best thing is PAST EVENTS, GENUINELY THAT STUFF IS SUPER FUN AND I GET TO HAVE THESE TWO GAY GREMLINS INTERACT AND theyre so much fun oh my god

((uhm, as far as the other interpretation goes, not really? if it's a character ive seen before and i like them there's a high chance i think i'll be at least Decent when writing them. you could stare at how i play neera and go ''yeah that's pretty close''. i dont promise perfection when i write i just promise to have fun.))
