馃惌鈾ワ笍 Redwall Couples... TWO 鈾ワ笍馃惏
Presenting Gonff and Columbine (Mossflower, Legend of Luke), Hon Rosie and Tarquin (Mariel of Redwall, The Bellmaker), and Tammo and Pasque (The Long Patrol)!
I probably should have found a third hare couple to include in this one to make it more appropriately hare themed... but I really wanted to draw Gonff and Columbine V_V

A bouquet of purple hyacinth, purple columbine and hellebore VS Bittersweet nightshade
First, let's talk about the bouquet of purple hyacinth, purple columbine and hellebore
Meaning and why these flowers were chosen: Purple hyacinth: please forgive me. (he couldnt save her, he was too scared and then it was too late)
Purple columbine: to achieve peace there must be sacrifices (he is the sacrifice. he has been through so much to save the world. oh and in certain endings he becomes an actual sacrifice and the new vessel, but this is bad)
Hellebore: anxiety (literally diagnosed)
Description:
A man haunted by demons, both literal and figurative. A year ago he was too afraid to save someone, and he regrets this. Now he must fight demons, only assisted by his belief in god.

Now, let's talk about the Bittersweet Nightshade
Bittersweet nightshade is known for the taste of its poisonous berries starting bitter and then turning sweet, as a character they wrestle with remaining cold, detached, and duty orientated but succumbs to feelings of affection and attachment despite their best judgement (gay). Bittersweet nightshade is a symbol is fidelity, fitting a character who has been raised to be a servant. Choosing a poisonous plant with a history of being used medicinally is a nod to their knowledge in chemistry and skill as an apothecary (guy who carries a vial of acid in their inner breast pocket just in case).
