Btw I just want to say that I love how Ferry makes it SO CLEAR what character is talking even when they're all voiced by the same voicebank. Of course, we have the leitmotifs, with Sergei's leitmotif from Strike 3 coming in as it switches to his perspective towards the end, but there's more than that. Anya earlier in 100 Epitaphs comes in quick, frantic, and upset, like how fast-paced all the lyrics in Punch It, Punk! are. The metaphors that each character uses make it clear who it is as well. Sanya says she's ready to be blinded by the sun about Yura, like how she compared his smile to the sun earlier in the series. Even this comparison of being blinded is clever since in this song, we see Sanya mirroring Sergei, and that's the metaphor he previously used for Yura.

3 of my super hero kids, in their most recent re-designs; I've had them for about 15 years, first starting by making up characters and a story with my best friend back in middle/high school, and I've just always continued up-dating them over the years.
From the left-
-Cerberus (Jordan). A rebellious punk kid who can transform into a powerful beast with multiple limbs! In some ways, he resembles a typical idea of a bipedal werewolf, but there are other traits that make him unique. Across his body is not only dark fur, but thick scales (similar to a dragon), the tail being more serpent-like. From his shoulders, he can grow additional arms with claws (four total), change two arms so the wrists form into snake heads, or grow extra canine-like heads to truly resemble the mythical Cerberus. His true face has a pattern that makes it distinct and shows his human form. He's pretty strong, and VERY intimidating, and has an ability to recover from intense injuries while transformed (even broken bones... though, he isn't invulnerable). He's a risk-taker who like to cause a ruckus!
-Ferris (Ella). A sensible girl who also has a great sense of humor, she's a fun balance of down-to-earth and offbeat. She controls metal, able to move and re-shape it to fit her needs, even melting then reforming it. She's also able to use magnetic fields to "bounce" off, allowing herself to float. Her outfit is partially sleek, and partially chunky; smooth metal patterns wrap around her shoulders and arms, also down her back (following the spine), and forming a rib cage shape on her torso. She has a techno light-up mask with glowing eyes, that connects to headphones over her ears. Her pants are thick and baggy, with lots of metal loops, chains, and studs (so even if she doesn't have much metal to work with, she always has some on her). Ella is talkative, fun, and a genius with electronics/machines.
-Vivid (Rodney). A soft-spoken boy with powers of light energy. He can create glowing light, or use existing light waves, and use them like solid objects, making shimmering shapes. For movement, he can form stairs, or even a flat platform that he can stand on and travel through the air. For defense, he can make force fields and shields, blocking dangerous attacks, or saving people from falling objects. For offense, the light can be used as an energy blast, literally punching an enemy with a rainbow! Rodney has a loose-fit, large shirt with a wide collar that is solid black, but the fabric on his arms and legs are vibrant colors, in different gradients. He has reflective shades as a mask, also a full range of colors. Rodney needs to work on his confidence, but he's very creative.

I rewatched Punch It, Punk!...
THIS.
AND THIS. (From 100 Epitaphs)
I actually didn't give much thought on the lines from Punch It, Punk! when I first watched it, but now that I've given it a fourth watch AFTER Convergence & 100 Epitaphs, holy shit.
This was actually the thing that pushed me to make this blog, because I've been rewatching a lot of Ferry's videos recently. It makes me appreciate how Ferry connects all the videos in the pafl series in some sort of way.
"We're gonna do great things" isn't just a throwaway line anymore; they ARE going to do great things. Great things = Massive jailbreak plan for Katya, in this case.
There's more that I wanted to say but can't transfer onto text right now, so I'll add more once I find the right words.
(Also I know this was probably pretty obvious but I'm a slow guy and this was a massive epiphany for me)

After reading more of that terrible vocaloid/ vocal synth take, I feel the need to recommend some of my personal favourite songs that use vocaloids, in particular I wanted to show the diversity and range that can be a polished by different producers.
I feel like these are all very basic, but they are just so good.

The idea that voice synthesisers are trying to take over human vocals is so dumb, not every song using them even try’s to sound human. It’s such a cool instrument and a great way to tell stories, I don’t like the idea of it being filed down to evil AI.
Saying every song that has ever used a a vocaloid sound exactly the same is just blatantly incorrect. Some vocaloids do sound really similar but different producer put their own style into it and make them sound so unique ( I have included 3 songs that use Vflower and they all have their own special spin on her voice, which is so cool).
An important aspect of vocal synths is human creativity, we wouldn’t have awesome stories like the Kagerou project without real people like Jin thinking them up. Tuning a vocal synth takes so much work it’s incomparable to stupid AI covers.
I really like vocal synths it’s such a cool medium, sorry if this is long I’m very passionate about this.
don't apologise!
never listened to much vocaloid other than what you guys have sent me so i've got these on in the background now <3
