Time for me to post my Older Raz AU design more. :)

I like giving my Raz just a lil scruff of facial hair on occasion. A few piercings. He absolutely has tattoos I just haven't drawn him without a coat in a while and haven't determined what exactly or where.

Also goddammit I forgot to add his coat patches I knew something looked wrong but I'm not gonna fix it just like I'm not gonna fix his right arm die mad about it.

So! Raz and Lili are taking a more long term mission in a big city! So they have their own tiny apartment and Dogen is there too sometimes as their “man in the chair” type deal but I haven’t drawn him yet lol. As for other characters! They befriended Kitty when they were about 13-14 (was very hard they were all mean to eachother at first) because she had entered the intern program and was assigned to Cher! Now her, Lili, Frazie, and Lizzie are in a shitty mostly cover band bc I said so. Norma went very headfirst into the whole agent thing, but mostly takes up detective type missions, she just finds them more fun. Naturally Dion stuck with the circus, but Frazie’s mostly doing her own thing, kinda trying to find her calling for the most part, this stresses both Dion and Norma out gjfhdk. I have design stuff for other characters like Sasha n Milla as well as some oc stuff but I’ll post those later

Just thought I'd show off a new way of how I may draw Raz from now on, including some Headcanons! One of those being that when Raz and Lili get older, Lili wants to be a tattoo artist so she practices some designs on Raz.

If you look closely I based some of his tattoos off his adventures!

considering the name of the au i am. so curious what cal's relationship to cassie is, obvs it looks positive considering his imppecable fashion, but I am itching to know more abt that specifically. did cassie volunteer? is it a village raising a kid situation? how trashed did that hospital get when the p7 busted in to get cal outta there

oh you know that hospital no longer had a "neurology" wing after the p7 were done with it

but yeah!! my Vision is it's a little bit a village raising a child situation - cal got to grow up pretty much free-range in the gulch, wandering around in the woods and hanging out with the p7, practicing and growing steadily more skilled with his psychic powers. (I go back and forth on whether or not he ever met Lucrecia - I don't know if the timeline works but i Do find the idea of him only ever hearing of her interesting, especially since I HC cal as having some inclinations towards hydrokinesis and that provides some Interesting Fodder if he's like... functionally serving as a Reminder Of Her to the others in that sense.) anyway, he and Cassie particularly hit it off, what with her Ambient Teacher Energy, and that eventually progressed to them functionally considering each other mother and son, and even as an adult after The Everything she's the one he keeps in the most direct and regular contact with (he's got complicated feelings about Ford and Otto, Compton's not especially taking meetings at the moment, Bob is As He Is and Helmut is Uhhhh. RIP).

Mindwarp (Psychonauts OC)

Entry 34. 2/16/2000

Mindwarp. Illusionist extraordinaire. Weapon of choice: A helmet powered by the smallest amount of psilirium, which she uses to distort and alter the minds of her enemies as well as manipulate innocent people into zombie-like obedience. Only a handful of Psychonaut agents- including myself, are capable of resisting her mind bending waves. Otherwise, her influence can be undone by music.

Mindwarp is a protege of Sandmind, the most prolific criminal to ever be taken down by the Psychonauts since the downfall of Maligula. Before the reign of Mindwarp, she was known as Betty Nott, a former mentee of Otto Mentallis. She showed promise under his tutelage, but ran away to avoid punishment after she tried to control the mind of her mentor with his own devices. Some few years after that, she joined Sandmind, who trained her further in the arts of Illusion and encouraged her work in mind-controlling devices. 

Her latest work; the mindwarp broadcast. Her helmet alone isn’t as powerful as she’d like it to be (I’m guessing too much psilirium  would be counterintuitive), so she has attempted to create an amplified version of her helmet’s power by hijacking public broadcasting systems and devices. Most recently, Agent Zanotto and I unearthed her temporary lair off the coast of Southern Oregon. We didn't find any psilirium at the scene, but we did find a personal laptop with coded messages to an outsider. Couldn’t be Sandmind, he’s in a coma and being heavily guarded in a max GPC in a remote location only known to the Psychonauts.

Mindwarp’s current status: Thwarted, but still at large for nearly a month.

for funsies imma use ur ask to talk about the roles the different parts of Augustus's system play n sorta when they showed up :D

His system isnt TOO big. Augustus's mind sorta segmented things in a way he could understand. small numbers mean easier solutions, so his issues were cut into four equal slices essentially. Someone to handle each of the parts he couldnt deal with himself

They also dont have real names. Just titles. It keeps things tidy in Augustus's brain so he doesn't really "humanize" them as human as they are. hell he doesnt even think about em as other personalities, he just thinks people have other people in their mental worlds who take over the body when ur too out of it to do so urself

as for the system members!

The Princess: Definitely first to show up. Similar to Raz, Augustus needed a friend when he was a kid. he also needed a person who could take on his "girliness" for him so he could be a boy. This brings in our Princess, who houses all that sweet sweet childhood trauma! along with happy childhood memories :D she's got mood swings, going from merciful princess to "I will stab you with my tiara", she's a kid she's got a lot of emotions!

The Acrobat: For handling all those weird feelings in ur teen years. They're about 14, struggling with gender identity, and is Augustus's "voice" while they do side shows for money. they're around for most of the Starlight Circus, so they're in for the long haul. They hold a lot of Augustus's more emotional trauma, and is a bit of a wimp. got that awkward growth spurt hunch and tends to trail off when they speak

The Ringmaster: Augustus just got his scars and he cant handle that kind of pain and having to relearn how to see. Introducing our Ringmaster! A strong willed grown man who knows exactly how to execute a routine and expects perfection >:( A big frowner for sure, very protective of Augustus. he's his backbone basically, able to finally give Augustus ground to stand on so he can stand up for himself. he's also a fast learner, helping Augustus get used to having only one seeing eye :D

and finally we have Maligula, who handles all of Augustus's water and psychic based issues and joys. unlike Lucrecia's Maligula which is more a coping mechanism she made to defend herself, Augustus's is a fully realized...creature. not a person, but a creature who lives deep within the waters of the flooded circus and takes on all that heavy trauma of the Grulovia Dam Flooding, his failures, his biggest problems...he's sorta Augustus's main protector essentially, blocking him from doing much outside of his usual routines that ARE deemed as "safe". its why starting him on Psychic training is a bit difficult when you have a literal monster holding you back out of fear of you or your loved ones getting hurt

again this is all mostly based on my experiences and also how i internalize my own system stuff, so take all this with a grain of salt, im not an expert, yadayadayada, but i just think it's kinda neat!

plus theres no way in hell Augustus knows he has DID he thinks this is just How The Brain Works and theres like a whole team of highly trained psychologists like "No bestie this is somethin WAY different"
