Okay, but what about (platonic or romantic) Radiohusk with a possessive Alastor?

With an Alastor that has actually missed 'Husker' during the seven years of absence and where Alastor actuallyl comes by the bar every now and again to bother him?

With an Alastor who overall only wants to use the Hotel and its residents and who at first does not mind 'Husker' spending time with Charlie, her girlfriend and the others because through them starting to trust the cat demon more they start to tell Husker quite a lot. But then Alastor finds out that his own personal cat demon is getting attached to the residents. And getting quite close to a certain spider demon.

Husk calls Alastor an hypocrite because Alastor gets to have his friends while the only other person aside from Alastor Husk is allowed to be close to is Nifty.

Alastor does not see any 'hypocricy' in this demand because Husk does belong to him as stated by their soul-tied deal. So it is Alastors 'right' to be the focus of Husks attention when he is in the room and it is Alastors 'right' to be main and most important person in 'Huskers' life.

You can be anti–intellectual property / pro–copyright infringement and still dislike plagiarism, they're different things. Fitgirl Repacks isn't pretending she made Assassin's Creed. The Phantom Edit literally tells you it's derivative in the opening crawl (if you somehow didn't already know). The only relationship between plagiarism and IP infringement is that—at least in the U.S.—plagiarism isn't explicitly illegal, so if a plagiarism case actually goes to court, it does so as an IP case.

oh as a bonus, i feel like depressed toxic! suguru isn't the type of person who would actively seek to cheat on his partner, but if someone flirted with him, he wouldn't put a stop to it and let things escalate.

He would be the type of person who uses his depression as an excuse to hurt others and not take responsibility for his actions and when you decide to confront him he just gets defensive and plays the victim, like this: -I didn't want this to happen! I'm tired of everything and you only make everything worse with your complaints and insecurities!

tldr of my thoughts on the Barbie movie is that for me it fails where I expected it to fail (as a critique of capitalism and the way it and whiteness factors into the misogyny of it all), succeeds where I expected it to (visually and comedically), and exceeded expectations in areas where I didn’t even know to have expectations (Barbie and her relationship to humanity/becoming human)

#overall 10/10 definitely would watch again #however it’s success heralding a fuck ton of movies based on mattel properties sends me into a pit of existential dread #Barbie movie #Barbie #aa babbles #and at risk of getting accused of being a kill joy for being nit picky or whatever #if you’re asking what abt its feminism?? btw, the guy that dm’d me accusations about me changing his code/breaking the project in our term project completely changed his tune after I refuted every one of his accusations. I’m still pissed off about it and a little disappointed that he didn’t have the backbone to even try.

Marriage Violations

13 If a man takes a wife and, after sleeping with her, dislikes her

14 and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, “I married this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,”

15 then the young woman’s father and mother shall bring to the town elders at the gate proof that she was a virgin.

16 Her father will say to the elders, “I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he dislikes her.

17 Now he has slandered her and said, ‘I did not find your daughter to be a virgin.’ But here is the proof of my daughter’s virginity.” Then her parents shall display the cloth before the elders of the town,

18 and the elders shall take the man and punish him.

19 They shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give them to the young woman’s father, because this man has given an Israelite virgin a bad name. She shall continue to be his wife; he must not divorce her as long as he lives.

20 If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found,

21 she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you.

22 If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

23 If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her,

24 you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

25 But if out in the country a man happens to meet a young woman pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die.

26 Do nothing to the woman; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders a neighbor,

27 for the man found the young woman out in the country, and though the betrothed woman screamed, there was no one to rescue her.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered,

29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

30 A man is not to marry his father’s wife; he must not dishonor his father’s bed.

My grandma really came here just to complain about her neighbour

#i will say this neighbour has picked the wrong one to fuck with. my grandma is insane #she’s not scared of confrontation; confrontation is scared of her #okay so for anyone who wants the tea: my grandma’s new next door neighbour is this woman in her early 60s who is a nutritionist #and works from home. she has a massive uncontrolled dog; has ripped out all the carpets and replaced them with wood; and has erected 7 foot #fences around the entire perimeter of the property. no one’s mad about the fences & the floors are her own business; but all of this is #a recipe for noise. this woman however insists that she doesn’t slam doors (she does) and watches tv at a normal level (she doesn’t)#and that her dog doesn’t bark (he does). my grandparents were like ‘fuck it we don’t want to pick the fight’ and they’re getting the walls #soundproofed (they also believe it will help with my granddad’s tinnitus so there is that)#tell me why this woman accosted my granddad this morning to be like ‘how long is this work going to take?? your builder woke me up #this morning’ (the builder started at 9am mind you). my granddad was like ‘it’ll be one more day’ she’s like ‘well i’m not happy’#he’s like ‘okay’ she said ‘don’t you smile at me’. at this point my mouth dropped open. like who SAYS that #these people are getting soundproofing because of you and you have the audacity to complain that the building work woke you up #at a reasonable time. and not only has she never apologised for the noise she causes; she also doesn’t even acknowledge that she’s made it #she’s also accusing just about every man on the street of looking at her whenever she leaves the house which is very rarely #one of these men reckons he hasn’t actually seen her and cannot describe her #i was like ‘okay so she’s batshit crazy. what’s the plan’ my grandma said ‘i think i’m going to let her know what i think of her’#i will not be surprised if this person’s head explodes tbh #personal
