More Soul Eater Au!! Technically a prequel to this where prom is a weapon hesitant to transform as his pistol form is a dead giveaway to his origins in Niflheim and accidentally ends up partnering with Noctis, the crown prince who just so happens to be looking for a weapon partner. Shenanigans ensue, and the two become the best meister-weapon pair in insomnia. Eventually, noct reveals to prom that he’s a weapon himself, able to transform into the form of every weapon in the armiger! :D

i dont care that they never interacted in the game, i could write an entire essay on why ravus nox fleuret and prompto argentum would be a good ship! they would be absolutely perfect for each other!!! i feel like their personalities and their flaws would be able to balance each other out so well. they would both be awful at communication but i feel like over time they would be able to figure out how to healthily communicate with each other and they could both benefit each other in so many ways. they’re both fucked up but i think they would be able to help each other through their respective problems in there own ways. i would love to see prompto and ravus actually be able to open up to each other over time and get better at dropping their acts. i also dont think either one of them has ever genuinely experienced being loved which is something i think would be sweet for them to experience together and learn to express it better. (im sorry for rambling in this, i have so many thoughts about them that its so hard for me to sort them out and explain properly!)

i saw this scene being uploaded in english the other day and i can't not rewatch the japanese version because, you know, seiyuu brainrot and whatnot. translations (completely my own) under the cut.

my first ever ship i read fanfics for was dominic x brian from fast & furious. otherwise, my first ever ship came from anime as i was consuming that before i ever touched any bl dramas.
my true first ship would so be soubi and ritsuka from the 2005 anime adaptation of the manga loveless. a bit questionable choice i admit, but i still collect the manga bc i find the story fascinating and delightfully painful. also, i love the concept of named pairs (soulmatism with a knife) and their ability to fight against each other
my first ever (thai) bl ship would probably be korn and knock from together with me. there was just something about them back then that made me feel slightly deranged. (with bonus yihwa bc i still think she's one of the best female characters in a bl)

It's August 30th, you are at Noct's apartment, and you are stressed. Everything is going fine, but you're mind is racing with worse case scenarios.
"What if he's in his moods and gets pissed off"
"What if the decorations fall"
"What if-"
"Y/N are you alright?" Gladio asks.
You suddenly get pulled out of your thoughts and see him looking at you with concern.
"Stop worrying."
"How did you know I was worried?"
"You're mean mugging his photos."
You look back over to the framed group photo he has on his wall. You take in a deep breath and calm yourself down. There's no reason for you to be nervous. You're throwing a party with your best friends, for your best friend, nothing can go wrong...
'INCOMING CALL FROM KING REGIS'
"Hello?"
"Noctis is in the elevator"
"Pardon?"
You hear the door open and you jump and look at the boys. All the fears that left you returned as you hear him take his shoes off and walk towards the living room.
"What's going on?" Noctis looks around with confusion.
"Happy Birthday!" You all say in unison.
"We didn't expect you to come so early." You say
"Yeah, well I was kicked out of my apartment for 10 hours."
"So what do you think." Prompto asked with uncertainty.
"I...I love it, thank you guys."
It was the first time you all have seen Noctis' this happy in a while. Today was a day for celebration, a day to put all your problems aside and focus on enjoying yourselves.
There was dancing and singing, lots of games were played. Lots of roughhousing (you beat Gladio), watching movies, and jokes being thrown around. Hell, Ignis laughed so hard that he almost fell out of his chair.
August 30th, 11:49 PM
After dinner was eaten and you all calmed down, Gladio brought out the cake.
"Alright birthday boy, time to make a wish." He says while putting the cake on the table.
"We should totally smash your face in the cake." Prompto says while lighting the candles.
"I don't think I was to mess up my hair."
"I don't want hair gel in the cake I made"
"Y'all it's almost 12, lets hurry this up." You exclaimed.
Prompto set his camera to record and you got everyone prepared to sing.
"1...2...3
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Noctis,
Happy Birthday to you."
"What did you wish for" Prompto asks while shaking his friend.
"If he tells you it won't come true-"
"I wish to be with you guys for the rest of my life. I don't want to loose any of you...I can't."
Tears ran down Noctis' face when he said it.
"You won't loose us, and we won't loose you." Ignis says it as he puts his hand on the boys shoulder.
You guys spent the rest of the night reminiscing about your favorite moment. For tonight you could put your worries aside, but tomorrow you remember the future.
I am currently going through a FFXV brainrot, so if I ever write anything else it most likely be FFXV

Is it just me and my Final Fantasy XV brainrot or does Rufus look kinda similar to Prompto/young Verstael Besithia? Like his face reminded me of someone but I couldn't quite figure out who until I suddenly realised it was young Verstael from Episode Ardyn. And everytime I saw him in Episode Ardyn it fucked with me how much he resembled Prompto. So now when I see Rufus he reminds me of Prompto a bit

Final Fantasy XV
5 favorite characters:
Love of the lords, Ardyn Izunia owns my soul. The flamboyancy. The VERVE. The anger so deep it almost expresses itself as a lust. His fucking tremendous voice acting by Darin de Paul. That motherfucker had me by the tongue from the moment he first strutted on screen. He is the legend. He is the moment. And by the gods, is he such a fantastic villain.
But Gladiolus Amicitia owns my heart. He's so deeply underrated by the fandom that I attached to him and decided I'd defend him to the death. He's such a sweet guy, and intelligent, and deeply good looking. And his flaws are hella fascinating to delve into.
Lunafreya Nox Fleuret is also very near and dear to my heart. The resolve she has to carry through the game's events is so intense, and she's so much more than the fandom likes to see her has. I hope she knows how much I care about her.
Noctis Lucis Caelum also really stands out as a fascinating protagonist who goes through so much well-done character development by the end of the game. Ray Chase adds so much dimension and depth to every voice line, bringing a sincerity to Noct's words in happiness and sadness that makes me truly root for him.
And then, of course, how could I forget Regis Lucis Caelum, the best dad. We don't get to see much of him, but I'm actually really fascinated in the past time he spent with his friends when he was younger, especially his friendship with Clarus, his royal bodyguard and Gladio's dad.
3 OTPs:
Gladio/Lunafreya/Ardyn is my peak ship out of every single other ship in FFXV, and the fact that it is a rarepair continually makes me cry.
Gladio/Lunafreya is also really good!! I think they both care for Noctis a ton, and would bond over that.
And Ardyn/Lunafreya, for the enemies to lovers dynamic.
Funniest character:
Each of the main four boys (Prompto, Ignis, Gladio and Noctis) get their moments of snark throughout the game, but it's Prompto that really does get me with some of the fuckin best lines. I can't help but snicker every time at him defending his selfie taking with "hashtag sorry not sorry!" or him dropping a hard curse when realizing Gladio's most likely off flirting with girls. It's so good and his voice actor, Robbie Daymond, knows just how to nail that comedic timing.
Prettiest character:
I need Gladio in ways that would get me censored by the Hays Code.
Seriously, his fucking eyes?? That scar??? It's just not fair! It's just not fair! He's so hot! He's so unspeakably pretty!!!!! Sir who allowed this?? Who allowed you to be like this!!!
Ardyn is a close second, but man... come on. Nobody can beat that fucking look.
Most badass character:
Ardyn is badass as fuck for his abilities, the fact that he almost won, just so much about him. I won't go into detail because spoilers, but oh man... he really does earn this title handily.
Character I’d like as my BFF:
All of the Chocobros seem like they would be so fucking fun to hang out with and I'd take the chance to do so in a heartbeat.
Character that’s ruined my life:
Ardyn
