“Did you ever plan on getting a relationship?” The interviewer asked.

"No, I was too preoccupied with volleyball to care."

“What made you change your mind?”

Beyond the reporters, mics, and cameras, his gaze finds yours in the crowd. "The mere possibility that someone out there was worth the wait."

The interviewer noticed the softness in his eyes and tried to follow his line of sight, but he had already directed his gaze back to them before they could turn around.

“Well, were they worth the wait?”

He smiles. “Always.”

After that argument, they became more open with each other. She even opted that he see a therapist, to talk about his insecurities, but Suna said no. He promised to talk to her more. If not her, then maybe Osamu, Komori, Washio, or his parents (especially his dad, who was a therapist)

A scene I almost written out was him finding out that he'd be part of the nationals roster. He was so surprised, because he was glad to simply be a Division 1 Pro-League player, but an Olympian, too!? He was over the moon!

When he told Reader, she cried, because Murase-san told her that she had been selected to be part of the nationals team. Meaning, they would both be at the Olympics. Together.

They celebrated through sex (lol) followed by calling their friends and all.

He was a little miffed that Atsumu was there, but promised himself that he was more than he was, and that he was his girlfriend's past.

Also, he was a bit on guard because Kageyama was there. Kageyama, whom, he knew had a crush on his girlfriend (and probably still does).

At the Olympic village, he may or may have not done some shenanigans with Reader. His roommate was Komori, who was more than happy to let them have their fun.

With the team having majority of its players from Inarizaki (staff included), it felt like a mini-reunion! Aran cried when he heard the news, worried at first, but relieved later because (Y/N) was also on board.

At the Olympics scene, (Y/N) was noted by a team from her mother's home country. She didn't noticed, too busy chatting with Hinata.

She was also really happy to be with her beloved childhood playmate.

Atsumu would argue though, since he's her childhood best friend!

"But you can't call her (Nickname), Atsumu-san! Only I can!"

"SHOUYOU-KUN YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME"

"My god you're so dramatic." says Sakusa.

Reader met Iwaizumi and instantly became friends.

Reader works as the team manager and psychologist (it was her minor, and she has a masters).
