My Roasting of Power Rangers Wild Force: disc 4
Huh. I was wrong. Animus got much, much worse. Show of hands, did anyone actually LIKE Kite?
I know that every Ranger with a Wolf theme is legally required to have a 'Go it Alone' episode, but was there REALLY a point to this with Merrick? This was not only something that felt incredibly forced, but also just...dumb. Although his showing true affection to the pub owner was nice.
Master Org confirmed Nice Guy Incel. Who did not have to wear that bald cap, but apparently did it for the bit.
Annnnnnd we continue with Max being played up as Team Child once more. Just gonna throw this out there to appease myself: he was absolutely an only child, probably homeschooled, DEFINTELY over eighteen, but in that weird place where he's so socially awkward that he hasn't even kissed someone yet and doesn't know how to interact with his teammates beyond being the voice of hope and excitement.
Money down, the only reason they had Ransik get half-blown up by three powerful beings and undergo REVERSE mutation was so they could show off Vernon Wells being fucking sexy.
I rolled my eyes so hard at the "fight" between Shayla and Merrick over their "music date" that I think I gave myself vertigo.
*Throws a wrench, an axe, a lawn chair, and a whole ass piano at the writing staff and directors* NO to Alyssa being made into a furry to beg at the feet of a gross monster! SHAME ON YOU!
Okay, did we ever get any background into how Jindrax even HAS a brother? What?? How??

Very tired rn but something something, Princess Shayla being genuinely alarmed + concerned at how the other orgs treated Jindrax and Toxica. Like yeah they're enemies and all that and they keep attacking her rangers but she was truly shocked/appalled when Toxica was used as an Org Shield and when Master Org ordered to have Jindrax destroyed. Also that convo between Shayla and Toxica where she points out that Toxica is clearly being used by the others and that they have no regard for her. It's a small thing I guess? But I really do like how Shayla saw two enemies being treated terribly by their own kind despite being so loyal and was like 'wow that's really fucked up' and expressed worry about it.

Went to RangerStop & Pop on Saturday (June 11, 2022) in Atlanta. Was great seeing some people again that I’ve been able to grow connections with.
It’s always a pleasure getting to see Ann Marie Crouch. I’ve gotten to know her over the last few years and she is an absolutely wonderful person. I also surprised her and made a (close as I possibly could) replica of the necklace she wore as Princess Shayla in Power Rangers Wild Force.
I also got to see Hunter Deno for a second time (the first being in February) as well as meet two of her cast mates Chance Perez and Jordan Fite. Hunter is so lovely and nice and the boys were wonderful as well.
I enlisted my mom’s help to create some gifts for them so crocheted versions of the dinosaurs their zords are based on we’re born, in the color schemes of their zords… or as close as we could possibly get that is! The purple one was for Claire Blackwelder who unfortunately had to cancel for personal reasons but I’ll keep that one safe until I’m able to give it to her.
Also got a pic with Abraham Rodriguez. I knew was tiny but I wasn’t expecting him to be THAT tiny! 🤣🤣 I felt like I could’ve easily crushed him if I maybe hugged him too tightly or something! Maybe it’s just because I’m tall. Who knows 😝😝

i love to think about when the wild force team was just shayla, taylor and alyssa (before max and danny joined) and all the #justgirlythings they got up to like:
alyssa teaching shayla basic martial arts forms for self defense
taylor and alyssa taking trips to the library together so alyssa can do her homework while taylor meticulously typed up her ranger regulation handbook
shayla playing pranks on taylor by sneaking flowers into her workout braid when she wasn't looking
alyssa and taylor sparring while shayla keeps score (but actually just cheering for both of them)
taylor drawing detailed hypothetical battle plans into a notebook while alyssa makes suggestions of various degrees of helpfulness depending on how impish she's feeling
in conclusion, wild force ladies prequel when???
