Forgot to mention this! #TrueStory #PowerofDua On eid day, after the eid prayer with sisters, I visited one sister, who I haven't seen for a while, and she was speaking about how merciful Allah swt is to his slave Subhanallah and told me her story. She said she didn't have anything for her kids for Eid and didn't want to ask anyone, She said she started to make dua to Allah swt Asking him "you are the only one  who knows our situation please provide for my kids  and after few hours later on the night before Eid day, A sister came was a bag full of snacks and toys for her kids.  Subhanallah..Also when we were in AL hol, I've met up with the same sister in the suq (market) Crying, I asked her what had happened to her and she told me that something strange has happened to her and couldn't believe it, so she started talking about the Mercy of Allah swt.She said, she's been in line for a long time to get her (cooker, stove) Babur fixed and she was late from her kids and they did not eat yet, she explained! She said started to make #Dua throughout the whole time been in a line.. and then she said a women came our from No where and took my Babur (only mine) and stated to fix, when she finished, she said she wanted to give her the little money she had, she said the woman refused with her head (not speaking ) and left straight away, when she looked out the women disappeared with the crowd. She was in a shock  in that moment and started to cry and that's when I met her in in suq! Subhanallah #Allah Akbar  I am Narrating this to you, to make you aware of the Mercy of Allah swt and to be more closer to Him with your Dua and not to ever give up Hope in Him, to always be calling Him Insha Allah..  #Reminder to myself first and to You!

For most of us, sadness and despair are married to each other. But when you give your sadness to Allah, Allah responds by filling your heart with so much hope - even though you’re still sad. You can be more broken than ever before, but you will be more unbroken than every before.

Dibaca berkali² masih sangat terasa sampe ke jiwa 😁 memang sosok beliau selalu menjadi panutan dan sampai saat ini msh blm tergantikan.
Mau ringkas tp bukuny udh ringkas bgt. Ukuran kertas A5, dan cm 121 hlm. Mending dibaca sendiri aj yak, sayang klw ad kata² dr beliau yg terlewatkan hhe
Bbrp bagian saya kutip,
1. ".... Tawakal dan doa sesungguhny sangat besar kekuatannya dapat mempersatukan dua kehendak: kehendak Allah dan kehendak manusia"
Inilah makna dr hadist nabi saw.
"Barangsiapa yang ingin menjadi manusia terkuat, hendaknya ia bertawakal kpd Allah", (h.r. Ibnu abi hakim)

Ever despaired in your du'as? Ever thought that they are not answered or that Allah Azza Wa Jall doesn't respond? Then, let me narrate to you the story of 'Asim Ibn Thabit Radiyallahu Anhu. _____ During the Battle of Uhud, when the Muslims faced defeat, the Quraish celebrated with their revenge but this was not enough for the ladies of their tribes. Hind, the woman who slaughtered the body of Hamza Radiyallahu Anhu, together with other women started to go out on the battlefield and started to dance and desecrate the dead bodies of the Mujahideen. Astagfirullah. Narrations say that in the passionate desire for revenge, these women slit up the belies of the Mujahideen, gouged out their eyes and cut off their noses and their ears. One woman among them, shaped an anklet of the nose of a Mujahideen and put it on her feet and started dancing joyfully amidst the dead bodies. Astagfirullah. But then came out Salafah Bint Sa'ad, who was very different from the other women, she was anxious about her family, so she started to look for them, she search high and low until she found the body of her husband soaked in his own blood, and near him were her sons, Musaffa, Kalab and Jalas who was breathing his last. On this Salafah asked who killed them, and Jalas said it was 'Asim Ibn Thabit Radiyallahu Anhu. Hearing this Salafah started to scream and swore by the false gods 'Uzza and Lat that her rage could not die down until she had taken revenge on 'Asim and drank wine from his skull. After this, she indeed proclaimed that she would give any amount for the person who can bring her the head of 'Asim, and this spread like fire amongst the Quraish. So one by one they started to search for 'Asim. After the Battle of Uhud, The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam sent 6 of the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum on a special mission with 'Asim Ibn Thabit as its head. They were a few distance from Makkah when a group of Banu Hatheel pursued them and ambushed them. The people tried to bribe the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum and told them that they won't be killed as long as they lay down their weapons. 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu with all his courage said "I will not lay down my weapons before the Mushrikeen!" Then, he remembered the swearing of Salafah and he prayed: "O Allah! I protect and defend your faith and, have Mercy on me and protect my flesh and my bones; please do not allow them to fall into the hands of the enemy." After this he attacked the enemy with two of his companions, they fought fiercely until they were martyred one by one. The three other surrendered and were killed, one committed suicide and the other 2 killed by the Banu Hatheel. Now, this is where the power of du'a comes. After few hours of the martyrdom of 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu, the Quraish learnt of the whereabout of his body which was lying in the area inhabited by the Banu Hatheel. So, with the hungry bellies of the Quraish for money, they started to give a lot of money to their messengers so that they could succeed in getting the head of 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu. When they succeeded, some men of the Banu Hatheel went to the place where the body of 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu was lying, when they were near it to cut off his head they found a whole lot of bees, wasps and hornets surrounding the body and head of Asim Radiyallahu Anhu. Whenever they attempted to cut it these bees and wasps would attack them so they couldn't do anything but give up and wait for the nightfall. The sun had not yet set when suddenly dark dense of clouds appeared on the sky, the very air seemed to tremble with the thunder and heavy rains had fallen. Soon the streets and roads took on the appearance of streams, low-lying areas were filled, and there was water everywhere. It rained heavily the whole night and the Banu Hatheel went back to their homes. Next morning they came out to get the head of 'Asim but as they went towards the field the body was nowhere to be found. The flood washed it away to some unknown place, they searched high and low but the body of 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu disappeared like dust in the wind. Subhan'Allah. Look how Allah Azza Wa Jall responded to the du'a of His faithful servant, 'Asim Radiyallahu Anhu. He sent down wasps and bees to cover his body as protection to these people who had the intention to use his limbs and whatever is left of him into devilish and sinful act of drinking wine. He sent down heavy rain so that his body won't be found and away from the Mushrikeen. Allah Azza Wa Jall will never allow the Mushrikeen to triumph over the Mu'mineen and this is how he protects His faithful servants. Similarly in Palestine, the Kuffar may plan anything against the Mu'mineen, but the Divine Plan overcomes all other plans. Indeed, the story of Asim Ibn Thabit truly reminds us of the one of the famous ayat of the Qur'an where Allah Azza Wa Jall says: "Call upon me and I will respond to you." 40:60 So never despair of His Mercy and never underestimate the power of your du'a. Remember Allah Azza Wa Jall knows what you are about to ask Him even if you haven't uttered them, He is within You, Your heart itself, calls upon Allah Azza Wa Jall with every beat. "Rubb. Rubb. Rubb. La Hawla wala Quwwata illa billah." May you all benefit from the story of 'Asim Ibn Thabit Radiyallahu Anhu. Amin Zohayma _____ Commanders of the Muslim Army, Ghadanfar, p. 262-263 Note: This is part of the collection of Golden Stories of the Sahabah Stories, which narrates and shares the amazing stories of the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum as taken from excerpts of their lives.

This is a Sahih Hadith and you can find this Hadith which I'm about to mention, this story, in a book by the great scholar Ibn Il Qayyim, may Allah bless him, in his book 'الداء والدواء'. He says: 'There once existed one companion of the Prophet salalahu allayhi wa salam, and he used to be a tradesman. One day when he was returning back from the land in which he was trading in he went to pass through a valley, where there was noway to take a shortcut. As he stopped to rest suddenly a highway robber stopped him and he placed a sword on his neck while he was praying. When the man finished his prayer he looked up and found the sword near his face. The robber said to him: 'Give me everything you have because I'm going to kill you.' The companion said: 'Please take everything I have but spare my life, I have a family and children'. The robber said: 'No, after you give me everything I am going to kill you. There is no escape. Where are you going to go? Call as much as you like. Try and escape if you like. I'm going to kill you'. The man looked this way and that way. He found himself in the middle of no where. He tried and tried but there was no escape. So it occurred to him, he said to him: 'Okay, please I have one request before you kill me then'. The robber said: 'Okay, ask for anything you want, you're still going to die. There's no escape'. He said: 'Allow me to pray two rakaat'. The robber said: 'Pray as many rakaat as you want. Pray to your God. You're going to die in the end. Call upon him as much as you like'. So the man said: 'I just want two rakaat'. The robber said: ' Go ahead, i'm waiting'. He started to pray the first rakaat, and in the second rakaat he went into Sujood, and you know the Hadith of the prophet Salalahu allayhi wa salam, he said: 'The closest a person can be to their God is when they are in Prostration'. In that prostration he called upon Allah subhana wa taala in secret , but the way he called upon him was from the depth of his heart to Allah subhana wa Taala. Imagine. This is the way you call upon Allah. This is why sometimes our Duaa is not accepted. Why? Sometimes its not sincere! Sometimes we don't really mean it. We take the Haram from here and with the edge of our lips we say 'astaghfirullah' but we don't even mean it. So we take more... 'astahgfirullah'. We say haram... 'astaghfirullah'. We look at haram... 'astaghfirullah'. But we don't even mean it!! The man made a duaa from the bottom of his heart, this is the end of his life. As the Prophet Sallalahu allayhi wa salam said: 'Pray to Allah, call upon Allah, and call him as if you are fare welling'. As he said a long duaa which begins with saying to him: 'I ask you by the Nur of your face which will never vanish or deplete, and by your strength and power and kingdom which with never vanish or deplete...' And he kept on asking and calling upon Allah's might and descriptions and his names and attributes till finally he reached the end of the duaa when he said: 'Oh Allah, save me from this robber, Oh the one who saves, save me. Oh the one who saves, save me. Oh the one who saves, save me.' He said 'I did not finish my rakaat except that after my tasleem I saw a warrior covering his face, galloping on his horse so quick and fast with a sword. Before the robber could even turn around he chopped his head off and the robber fell before him. I said "Who are you? May Allah subhana wa taala en-light you!' The man said to him 'I am an Angel from the 4th Heaven. We heard your Dua and the sky shook, so i raced to Allah and sought his permission to be the one to save you. Your duaa reached us.

Dua is very dear to Allah
It was narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“There is nothing dearer to Allah than dua.”
[Al-Tirmidhi,2684]
This should leave no doubt in our minds about Allah listening to our dua and how He likes the act of dua. Let’s not lose that opportunity.
