Ramin Karimloo must be the hardest working actor in musical theater. I swear every time I look at his Spotify he’s in another ocr. Like geez, Ramin, give the other actors a chance from time to time
( ever since I saw HADESTOWN and PHANTOM on broadway I have NOT been able to stop thinking about an au . . . but the thing about that is Christine and Raoul are Orpheus and Eurydice but Erik and Christine are Hades and Persephone but Erik and Christine are ALSO Orpheus and Eurydice purely from a metaphorical and mythological standpoint, you feel? )
i'm making jokes about raoul being stupid so that i don't think about "christine i love... you..." from poto25 that makes me want to sob histerically.............
Oh my dearest sister, thank you very much for asking!
Here we go!
Fireside: What movie always makes you cry?
“The Green Mile” and the 25th Anniversary performance of “The Phantom of the Opera” at the Royal Albert Hall.
By the endings of both, I’m a crying mess.
I don’t often want to watch “The Green Mile”, because of how sad it makes me, but every now and then, I’ll watch the end scene of PotO25, which is the part that gets me without fail, just to cry about it, which seems hypocritical, given how I don’t want to watch “The Green Mile”, but there’s something beautifully sad in PotO25, while “The Green Mile” is just plain sad to me.
Chanukah - Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Either Vanessa Hudgens or Liza Soberano (#pinoypride), but that’s a bit of a compliment to how I look, in my opinion!
Hailstone: What’s your favorite quote from a TV show or movie?
I answered this in this ask, but I’ll include another favorite quote or two of mine: “No, my question—I get to go first; why in pluperfect hell would you pee on a corpse?” from “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”, and “Should I not have jumped? Because I jumped!” from “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”.
