rewatching poto25 and the final lair is killing me once again
#JUST THE EMOTIONS OF IT ALL#how all the pain and hurt that they’ve both been putting each other through has finally come to a head#the way they’re both at their lowest and most desperate point#and raoul poor sweet raoul just wants to fix things but he’s the reason - at least to erik - why everything is all so wrong#and then christine makes a THIRD choice that ends up saving everyone#then the way when she returns he just smiles a little because he has the briefest flicker of hope#and how when she offers the ring back to him he just smiles because of course christine would think to do this for him#that’s just who she is and oh how he loves her#and she’s just so torn but he told her to go and she does bUT SHE LOOKS BACK AT HIM AND SINGS AT HIM#and the way he grasps onto her veil whispering I love you#it destroys me#poto#e/c#erik#christine daae

Fireside: What movie always makes you cry?
“The Green Mile” and the 25th Anniversary performance of “The Phantom of the Opera” at the Royal Albert Hall.
By the endings of both, I’m a crying mess.
I don’t often want to watch “The Green Mile”, because of how sad it makes me, but every now and then, I’ll watch the end scene of PotO25, which is the part that gets me without fail, just to cry about it, which seems hypocritical, given how I don’t want to watch “The Green Mile”, but there’s something beautifully sad in PotO25, while “The Green Mile” is just plain sad to me.
Chanukah - Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Either Vanessa Hudgens or Liza Soberano (#pinoypride), but that’s a bit of a compliment to how I look, in my opinion!
Hailstone: What’s your favorite quote from a TV show or movie?
I answered this in this ask, but I’ll include another favorite quote or two of mine: “No, my question—I get to go first; why in pluperfect hell would you pee on a corpse?” from “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”, and “Should I not have jumped? Because I jumped!” from “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”.
