Polymestor's office. With the threat of invasion in the air, and a terrible vision of his death on her mind, Hecuba has brought Polydorus here. Her son may want to go to war, but the city needs him alive. Polymestor will keep him safe.

Hecuba stands behind the desk, her face etched with anxiety. Her son is seated the other side. He suddenly looks... young. Far too young for any of this. His new protector stands behind him, bathed in a reddish light.

In the background, music: "Strangers' arms reach out to me...."

Hecuba raises a toast, features softening in relief. Polymestor raises his glass in turn, with a smile for his queen. All, for a moment, is well.

That poll is really interesting LOL …I think the type of friendship that edges into basically polydating is very popular these days but personally it’s not for me. I like to keep me friends my friends and have boundaries there especially around queer or kinky friends where ngl it sometimes feels like that stuff is expected…I don’t like that it’s assumed that people are into that. not because I’m against a more sexually liberated world but because imo even in a world where monogamy didn’t exist I think friends are still important and a different thing from sexual or intimate partners..but I know I’m the outlier there

My new bookcase is done! Well technically almost because the moveable shelf still needs to be polyd and then have a finishing wax applied and buffed, but it's basically done!!!

It's made in two parts, top and bottom half, and fitted together with dowels, but the halves can be separated when needed and then put back together, which makes it easy to carry it up and down stairs, especially with tight turns/corners, and to take it with me when I move, etc. I took photos of it before and after putting it together 😁

It's solid cherry (except for the back board which is plywood) and it's beautiful!!

Shows 25 & 26 - the two loop summer shows.

Remix weekend - would be a shame not to get a couple of shows in before hand. Reports of aggressive 1-1 hunters, declining audience behaviour and packed shows were mildly concerning, but by this show I’d had pretty much all the 1-1s I’d hoped for, and went in with a relaxed attitude hoping to see my favourite loops 1 more time, and follow a couple of characters for the first time.

Show 25 - Omar was on as Kampe, and Mallory as Oracle. Omar has been a favourite of mine since TDM - his William was the first character I bumped into in the space on my first show - and I had his porch dance pretty much to myself. Kampe had fast become my favourite character, and I knew there had been some changes made to the loop. The audience was pretty aggressive, and he had a big following, but he brought a new angle to Kampe. For me, Andrea will always be ‘my’ Kampe, but Omar gave me a sense of calm power I’d not seen from other actors playing the part. Oracle was a new loop for me, I adore Mallory in Peep, and wanted to watch her play a character as far apart as possible from the madness of Nance! Her Oracle was beautiful and moving, but 1 oracle loop was enough for me - I know people love the character as a comfort loop, but for me it’s just a little too slow.

Show 26 - based on the slightly aggressive audience behaviour the day before, I decided to follow some characters who I knew I could find should I get separated, so chose 2 favourite loops - PolyD and Zag. I adore the way Ferghas defies gravity, and he didn’t disappoint. One of the things I’ll miss most from the city is east hint the characters navigate the space without using the floor. “Ferghas for Spiderman!”. Seirian was on as Zag, and I love the naughty charm that he brings to each of his roles. Georges playing Apollo is always incredible, and the gleeful frolicking was gorgeous.

What is the divine in viadescioism?

Viadescioism is theistic, monotheistic, polytheistic, autotheistic, and pantheistic within its understanding of the divine. The divine is the sacred preternatural greatest highest supreme point of being, and we refer to this as Oxakna meaning ascended enlightened being. There has to be a top aspect of existence in which encompasses everything else even, if it is not what we described there is an aspect of existence that is the greatest, and this is known to us as Oxakna. We are theistic, and are not atheistic, antitheistic, non-theistic, or agnostic as Oxakna is the main emanation of divinity in the world, and we believe in it, and we believe we can know about it. Oxakna is an impersonal divine, and it is more akin to the absolute, or the all, and because of this is not personal. It is not eutheistic, dystheistic, or maltheistic as Oxakna is neutral, and indifferent towards all things and exist much more as a state of nature rather than a benevolent or malevolent force. Oxakna is the main divinity because of that viadescioism is a monotheistic religion, but viadescioism also believes in emanationism, and the emanations of Oxakna are also divinities making it a polytheistic religion as well. Because of this it is both monotheistic and polytheistic at the same time having one god that is many gods. The polytheism is a Soft polytheism within its esoteric understandings as the Divines are aspect of existence reinterpreted by various cultures and traditions, but it is hard polytheistic within its exoteric understandings as the divines are seen as separate entities of various cultures and traditions. Allowing for the Divine aspects of existence to be honored through our interpretation and understanding of what we find Divine, and how we choose to name that divine.  We are Apeirotheistic as the amount of emanations are infinite split off from the main source. meaning that there are an infinite number of aspects of Oxakna which are all Divine and unique within their own right. We are monistic and hondualistic as there is only one substance or essence of existence and this is kna which is the essence of oxakna, and the ultimate reality not divided into separate parts, and there is no separation or duality between the self and the universe, or between the individual and the ultimate reality. It is not henotheistic, kathenotheistic, or monolatristic as we do not force the worship of any divine over the divines of others at any specific time or place, or depending upon worthiness. Which is what makes viadescioism religiously pluralistic and omnistic as the other religions should be respected as they are forms of interpretations of the perennialist religious world from the viewpoint of the culture or tradition and are all valid interpretations, but may not always be true, or false. We are theopanistic and pantheistic as the Divine is the existence and cannot be separated from that existence as it is it. It is not transtheistic, or panentheistic as Oxakna needs to be imminent and in the world, and cannot exist outside of existence because there is nothing outside of existence, or can transcend existence, because being outside of existence means you do not exist which is an impossible state to be within. We are also autotheistic as Oxakna is the main divine emanation of existence, and every other aspect of existence is part of that divinity, and is in some way divine. It is not classical deism, pandeism, or polydeism as we do not believe the universe was created by the divine and do not believe that is a prerequisite to be divine. We do not believe in any form of creation of existence as we believe existence has always been going. It is omnipresent, because it is existence and it exists everywhere within existence. It is omniscient, because it is all of existence, and the existence knows all about itself. It is not omnipotent as it could not create a rock that it could not move, much like it could not create a round Square or a married Bachelor. There are some aspects of being that are impossible to bring about and because of this they do not exist and are outside of being and because of that are outside of the power of oxakna. It is not omnibenevolent as it is neutral, and indifferent much like every other aspect of nature. It is infinite in its depth, number, and possible worlds, much like how a number line can go on forever and there is an infinite number of possibilities of being, and possible worlds. It is eternal because it has always existed, and there will never be a beginning, or end to existence. Because nothing can not create something from nothing, and nothing can not create something outside of being, therefore something in existence must have existed in order for existence to have existed, and because existence exists it must have been existing already. It is unchangeable in the sense that the monadic nature does not change, but simply expresses itself differently within the existence which accounts for the change we see even though the existence itself stays the same.

1. Are they from Sandrock? If not, where were they born? Domi was born in Highwind! She follows the builder blueprint (hehe) pretty closely so she moved to Sandrock as a builder :)

3. Which city state would they most like to visit, and why? Tallsky! It sounds beautiful for starters but also Mi-an is from there… it’d love to visit her family someday.

6. What’s their opinion on the Church of the Light? Ewe’s pretty apathetic for the most part. On one hand ewe can understand the fear it stems from and the desire to stay away from the dangerous technology that brought about the downfall of the world centuries ago, but on the other hand it might not hurt to explore it in a safe way.

10. What’s their house like? Is it well decorated? Do they take pride in their home or let it get messy? (ok ingame her house is a bit all over the place bc im lazy so im just going to answer this how it Would be in an ideal world <3) It’s fairly minimalistic and simple but with cute ornaments strewn about! She treasures any and all gifts and loves to decorate with them. Things do tend to get a little messy as she’s always busy and often forgets to take care of herself, nevermind her home, but it’s a well-loved space.

19. What’s their favourite season? Spring! It doesn’t do well in the freezing cold but summer is too hot for it (especially summer in Sandrock). Sandrock’s spring is a nice temperature :)

Domi frequents Fang’s clinic as ewe suffers from bad stress headaches. It’s something that ewe just has to live with and ewe refuses to let it get in the way of ewe’s job. Ewe always has ibuprofen on hand incase a headache hits while ewe’s out and about.

She has autism (bc i also have autism so all my ocs are autistic by default <3) and goes nonverbal occasionally! It’s usually brought on by dealing with too many people at once but sometimes it just happens. She tries to avoid people in order to let herself recharge but if she has to run errands she’ll bring a notepad and pen with her so she can write to talk :) Her Sandrock pals are all used to this (especially fang you cannot tell me that man does not have autism and doesnt also go nonverbal. he totally gets it) and are accommodating!

It writes poetry in the evening to wind down before it sleeps. It’s shy about sharing it with anyone but it’s written Mi-an, Nia and Heidi love letters with poetry in them so they’ve seen them :)

Speaking of women. I know we don’t have Nia in Sandrock yet but Domi’s endgame is polydating Mi-an, Nia and Heidi! Mi-an and Nia live with ewe and are also dating each other (i think they’d be cute) while Domi is dating Heidi by herself :) I also know this won’t be possible ingame but I’m quietly hoping someone makes a polymod 🤞

Domi’s Nemo is named Muffin! She also has a Palomino horse named Vanilla and a white horse named Marshmallow (i think i had to name it smth like mallow ingame bc marshmallow wouldnt fit but its meant to be called marshmallow hehe). I would really like her to have a goat as well…pwease Pathea🥺
