ah, it's wonderful to be back on the stage! i'm sure you lovely folks remember what to do, right? 16 contestants entered this round, and when eliminations are done we'll be down to 8!

as the curtain rises, we can see contestant 64 entering on the left! they and their cat who's aware of the situation may be stuck trying to pretend everything is fine, but when it comes to the tournament, this timeloop-trapped cat lover has enjoyed a great deal of audience support from their very first match! they've already defeated contestant 1 and contestant 33, and they're ready to win again!

and if i may direct your attention to the right side of the stage, you can see contestant 16 stepping into the second spotlight! they're silly, they're doomed by the narrative that they once created and controlled, and now they're left trying to make the story fun for everyone else in what little time they have! with all of that, is there any wonder they've been another audience favorite? they've taken down contestant 49, they've taken down contestant 48, and now it's time to see if they can take down contestant 1 or if they're out of time!
