on this fine Sunday i'm wishing you all the energy of my son in his online seminary class saying that while he appreciated Joseph Smith's efforts at localization, the use of the word "adieu" ruined his immersion

“I used to argue with my sister. She claimed that man-to-man love does not exist. It can’t be compared to man-to-woman love. Do you know what I said to her? I said, “I’ll show you.” And I did make her see.”

We call this 'The King Farm', which means it ought to belong to all of us. Now, I may never run this farm and I'm not saying that I want to. But I can't for the life of me imagine why you'd want to leave the workings of it to someone who doesn't care a lick about it. [...] Look how often you have to remind Felix to do things around here. But have you ever noticed that when you ask Cecily to do a chore, you never have to tell her twice? It's because Cecily loves this farm. She should be the one who inherits it.
That's not the way things are done, Felicity.

i saw ur post on the dash "for you" so im js gonna leave my little thoughts (small font bc it got long. i'm sorry)
1. you do not get to argue with someone about their rules & boundaries. if the account is mdni, minors do not interact. same with minors not wanting adults to interact.
2. yes, minors (specifically teens 15/16+) do have and experience a burst in hormones so you get the urge to read nsfw but why are you full on interacting. if you're experiencing hormones—especially as a girl on her period—read and keep it to yourself. do not go around liking and commenting on an ADULT'S post. keep it pushing.
3. stop debating with adult writers. in real life, no one at twenty-four is going to be mutuals with someone that's seventeen unless they are related. you need to realize that as a minor, you would and should not be mutuals (whether irl or online) with someone two-three years above your age categories.
4. sixteen and seventeen year olds, you're not getting a "free pass" to interact just because you're bordering eighteen. no. unless stated otherwise, do not interact with adults for the sake of peace.
this has been an ongoing discussion every two months. it's not hard to abide by boundaries. let's say your parents still do phone checks even though you're 16. what would they do when they see you interacting with written porn? who's going to get the blame for writing it? the writers, not you. the accounts that preach mdni bc they know. i've seen parents blame the content creators but not their child who pushed past someone's boundary.
hmm! well said, nonnie 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 if this is referring to the post I believe it is, then this sums up my thoughts perfectly. And is especially relevant considering what I seen on my dash a few days ago. (I won’t get into it but iykyk). When we tell you guys not to interact with us and certain content, it’s for good reason. What you think of as no big deal, can mean a lot of trouble for us. Not to mention, is a one way ticket for creeps to prey on y’all. We just want you guys to be safe in these spaces and the best way to do that is establish boundaries.

i told my friend that if i ever met mcr fans in real life i’d want to know if they’re the weird kind or if they’re chill and normal and he said ’you’ve told me what was written on the drum at like 15 shows based solely on gerard’s outfits and you’re telling me you’re not the ”weird” kind of fan’

I was always pretty indifferent to the arsenal fans and just appreciated when utd would play against them because they always give us a good game. Then Alessia went there and she got toxic hate which fans (rightly) defended her from but since then some of them treat her like she’s a 12 year old who needs to be protected. She’s a professional footballer and an adult who made a decision. It’s extremely important to combat the abuse but there’s a level infantilization on their part that’s always been a little unsettling to me. And they also act like we’re wrong to be upset she left on a free. What if Leah Williamson or Beth Mead decided to let their contracts run out and go play for another WSL team? Would they not be upset? United fans should boo and come up with chants and try and unsettle Alessia because they want their team to win and if putting her off her game is the way to do it then they should. It’s not at all equivalent to the toxic abuse she got, it’s how football works.
