Dear how did you add our own pitures as the icons on your carrd? I can´t sem to figure it out ;-;

! Ok ok ok so. I don't know how familiar you are with carrd so I will just write this with a bunch of detail and you can ignore the parts you don't need s;lkfjg;sldkfjg

You will need a container; here

And it need to be set to the "columns" style- it starts with a default of 2, you'll have to add however many across that you want (in my case, this was 4)

And then inside of that you want to add image ..widget....thingies. Assets? You want to add images, one in each column of the container

These images can be anything! For whatever style you want, you could just use aesthetic images or whatever. I think a PNG that is an isolated image or outline image with a transparent background will probably have the best "button" style effect but that is 100% down to personal preference. So you upload your image in the menu for that asset, right

and then you just scroll down still in that menu and here

You put your link-- and this can be an external link! any link type that carrd will take, but in my case it's a link to the "rules" section of my carrd, so instead of a link it's just the navigator thingy but. Yeah, any link.

OH and- if you want them to move when you hover of them, that's in this menu

Which I absolutely recommend just playing around with until you find whatever lil image wiggle makes you happiest.

Repeat your image and link steps until happy with number of buttons! or cardd says "no more things for u >:("

pass some tips for making cardds bff ive been trying to make mine its been three weeks

omg em jay sure!!! these are the ones i can think off the spot for now ^_^

1. if you want an original carrd, don't follow youtube tutorials! you'll just end up with a very generic carrd that many other users have

2. use justify! in the options for the alignment of your text, select justify. it makes the words and sentences prettier and more balanced.

3. don't use bright colours with muted colours together, stick to one colour with different shades or you can follow mine (completely white background (change the background colour, the default one isn't completely white) with different colours, if you're going for a colourful but neat carrd)

4. select your fonts wisely. stick to just 1-2 different fonts so your carrd doesn't seem messy i always use 2 (one for headers, one for normal text). i recommend baloo, poppins (select bold for the weight for this specific font or it will end up looking ugly,,), shrikhand (for headers/titles) and the default font (for normal text)!

5. use pictures with the same colour scheme. i highly recommend pinterest and not google! i heard that we heart it is also a great platform (i personally don't use it)

6. you can search up carrd inspo on pinterest if you are out of ideas, just be sure not to fully copy it as a lot of the carrds found on pinterest are original.

7. if you're looking for things with a plain white background (e.g the heeseung pic on my carrd), search up "(your object/character) png"
