4 years ago on the 1st, plus est en vous. ☀️💖🌙
Cassandra and Rapunzel came into my life at just the right time. These girls will have my heart, always. Despite everything, the memories and love are what keep me drawing them, bringing them to life in my own way. Here's to you, girls.

Things I specifically like about "Plus Est En Vous"
THE PROPOSAL!!!! 😍🥰😍
Rapunzel having agency over her hair for the first time in her life and being the one to cut it again (I still cry when I think about it too hard)
The musical callbacks to songs from the series and movie
"Through It All"
The monkey scene, fight me
Rapunzel and Arianna retracing Rapunzel's "Wind In My Hair" steps as they ride back to the Snuggly Duckling
Eugene's fight with the Brotherhood
Rapunzel being prepared to kick Cassandra's ass (again)
Rapunzel using the combined Sundrop and Moonstone to bring everyone back to life (fight me, they were literally all supposed to die, but network wouldn't let them)
Lance adopting Kiera and Catalina, officially
Happy 4th Anniversary, series finale!

So, unknowingly, yesterday marked 7 years since Tangled the Series made it's debut, and I just happened to launch this blog today !
Crazy isn't it.
Actually, before the series launched I wasn't that much interested in Tangled. But since I started watching it, and I believe I did, somewhere during one of their hiatsuses, I don't fully remember, but I instantly loved it, and soon after, thanks to that, I found a whole new friendgroup and I got involved in the fandom, something I've never really eperienced before to this extent, so therefor, Tangled the series holds a very special place in my heart, and I'm still holding in to it.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. So to celebrate that, todays item is Rapunzels travelling journal. I've kept it just as it is. Never drawn or written in it, which makes me feel a liiittle guilty because, that is literally what it is for.
When opening it up the inner fold has drawings looks like Rapunzels artstyle, and same at the end of the folding.
The quote 'There is more in you' is taken from the series too, except in the series it is written in French; 'Plus est en vous'. I'm kinda sad they didn't keep it French, because it is also the titel.of the Final episode.
Turning to the first page, we are met with an image of Rapunzel and Eugene, in the Series style.
The edges has goldfoil, in the lower corner of every other page is Rapunzel, and on the opposite higher corner is a blue bird.
I'm not sure if the pencil came with this journal or not but I'm including it anyway. Amd of course, we have a cute Pascal to mark our ages with.
The Ending inner fold.

Cass Appreciation Week: Pain and Regrets
I just love Owl! I think after the battle with Zhan Tiri, Cass probably wanted to be alone for a while to really think about everything but Owl came to comfort her.
I participated in an appreciation week for Cass back in May 2022.

Hey, you know that ridiculous idea that the magic of the sundrop suddenly was encased in that gemstone on her dress in season 3? What was that? Who came up with that just blasted dumb idea? What made them imagine that would make sense when the sundrop was in her hair all along? I mean... WHAT???
Yeah, I actually randomly came across my answer to a similar question from... I don't know how long ago just yesterday, so it's ironic that you send me this ask now. XD
Anyway, I have no idea what's up with that. First, I don't think it's supposed to be a gemstone on her dress. I think it's a patch, just like how Eugene wears the Corona sun patches on his jacket. Cause when you look at her from every angle in that dress, it lays flat on her chest. Also the Sundrop Stone doesn't look like the patch. It's all yellow, while the patch was purple.
So the stone was under the patch? On her skin? In her skin?? It makes no sense! I'm assuming they did it for the parallel of Cassandra's obvious and literal Moonstone, but like... it's dumb. I hate it.
And as long as we're griping about that scene, I legit hate that there was an eclipse with no fanfare. Not a soul mentioned the eclipse in all the time leading up to it. Rapunzel herself watches the skies, and one would think it would be fairly common knowledge that a total solar eclipse was up and coming, given that people have been able to mathematically calculate the occurrence of eclipses for thousands of years. And seeing as how an eclipse would have major downsides to Rapunzel, you just... think it would have come up before the day of, you know? Like, they threw that in for the drama, but didn't lead up to it at all. "Let's go fight the big bad on the day I'm weakest!" sounds legit.
