Mlp g5 Au based on a dream I had
so this friend group of 4 ponies kidnap Misty cause one of their own left their group so they take Misty to turn into Mindy their former pegasus friend so it’ll be like she never left since Misty looks the most like her and they change her physical appearance as much as they can and give her earrings with an enchantment that makes her horn unusable and invisible and give her fake wings that she can move but not fly with
they also give her a necklace that changes her voice and forces her to talk like Mindy and a temporary headband that make her act like Mindy the group thinks that if she’s forced to act like her eventually Misty will believe that she is Mindy the headband and the necklace can be turned on and off they keep the necklace on but they only turn the headband on when they need to go out
and meanwhile Misty is scared and wants her friends and can’t
Eventually the other main 6 notice that they haven’t seen Misty for a bit and go to look for her and Sunny runs into the group she asks them if they’ve seen Misty the leader says no but ‘Mindy’ is visibly shaking as Misty is desperately trying to fight and get some message to Sunny but the others make up excuses and say that she just gets cold easily and they leave
Sunny is confused but moves on
after a while they run into Hitch and Sparky who greats them and goes to walk away but Sparky immediately knows it’s Misty and he hugs her leg while hissing at the others Hitch picks him up and apologizes to the group and leaves with Sparky reaching for Misty
meanwhile Zipp and Izzy mistake someone for Misty it’s the real Mindy they apologize and explain that she looks like their friend that they are trying to find she understands and wishes them luck
After moving on and run into the group and are confused cause they just saw Mindy Izzy suggestes it’s a clone or identical twins but Zipp thinks it’s sus and they follow them
they get to the group’s hideout and find a place to hide so they can watch them
the group talks about their trip and how annoying it was that they kept running into Sunny and friends and how it’s going undo their work as they turn off the headband with a remote the leader tells Misty that she almost got them caught and how she’s not being a ‘true friend’ she tells her to get used to her new life and how she won’t be afraid for long
meanwhile a horrified Izzy and Zipp are listening to and recording the whole thing while Zipp is recording she gets a call from Pipp and they quickly go to hide as the group can hear the ringtone and go looking for them while the leader stays with Misty Zipp and Izzy have a quiet argument debating rather to run and get the others or try to get Misty
they decide to run
the group is worried that they will get in trouble but the leader just smirks and looks to a scared Misty saying that they just have to tweak her personality a little
Izzy and Zipp run back to the brighthouse and tell the others what they saw and show the video they are horrified and Sunny and Hitch share their experiences with the group and feel bad that they didn’t notice Hitch apologies to Spark saying that he knew but he didn’t listen to him
they decided to go confront the group and barge into their hideout demanding that they give Misty back the group plays dumb and the leader says that they are just friends and she can leave if she wants to ’Mindy’ comes out giving them a cold stare she then tells them to get out and that she’s with her real friends and that she won’t let them take her away they try to talk to her but she isn’t having it and walks beside the leader who smirks
Zipp gets mad and goes to strike the leader but ‘Mindy’ goes in front of her causing Zipp to stop angrily ‘Mindy’ starts to fight them the group try’s to fight to but they are quickly dealt with and tied up they fight for a while as the main 5 try not to hurt her while she says mean things about them they individually tell her how important she is to them they eventually pin her down and Zipp try’s to get the enchanted accessories off her but find them stuck to her
the leader laughs and says that only they can get them off and they have the remote to turn them off but won’t be able to find them cause they’ve hidden them Zipp and Hitch tell the others to take Misty back to the Brighthouse and that they will deal with them
they go dragging the struggling ‘Mindy’ back with them and try to her to snap out of it but nothing works as she try’s to escape multiple times often getting violent they bring her up to the second floor with all the beds thinking seeing her bed would help they when she is in range of the prismbeam lamp the gems on her headband and necklace glow and dim Misty was back
she starts crying and hugs them apologizing a lot for what she said and did they hug back and reassure her that none of it was her or her fault she try’s to take off the accessories but still can’t it seems the prismbeam magic only deactivated them but not the earrings making her appear as a pegasus Misty doesn’t want to leave the range of the lamp fearing that they will reactive
Hitch and Zipp come back with the rest of the group - the leader Hitch explains that they will take off the accessories in exchange for their sentences being reduced
they quickly do apologizing and that they were scared to not do what the leader said to and they accept their punishment Zipp says that they will keep the accessories contained Pipp hopes that they can unenchant them cause they are pretty
Misty getting her horn back and makes a noise of relief just nods and the others hug her she apologizes again they say that their just glad she’s back and safe
Pipp takes Misty to Mane Melody to fix her hair and any alterations they put on her they talk and Misty says that the leader reminded her of Opilne and the others reminded her of when she was still with her scared of her but also scared to leave she says that she hopes that they will have the courage to break off from her like she did
meanwhile the real Mindy visits the leader knowing what happened she looks at her disappointed the leader doesn’t look at her and just says that she wouldn’t have done it if she hadn’t left them as Mindy leaves she says that cause of her actions their all gonna leave
