Acid Dragon (VSB*ESB)
VSB and ESB are goofy little guys, VSB is a chaotic goddess who ABSOLUTELY misuses her power to entertain herself. ESB, on the other hand, is.. generally very tired, also a goddess. She's generally very angry and has trust issues and VSB gets on her nerves A LOT. VSB is incredibly theatrical and ESB gets very tired of it very fast. They're kinda enemies to lovers because ESB begrudgingly gets attached to VSB's annoyances and you kinda get the dynamic!!!
Pip the Jackal/Agent 27
Okay SO. First things first, they're both sonic OCs, and Pip specifically is based on the Jackal Squad from Sonic Forces. So. Agent 27 used to work for a man named Emerald as a part of his criminal organization, having been raised as essentially a child soldier/spy. During this time, they were EXTREMELY isolated and were not allowed any friends, essentially never getting any sort of socialization. Pip was a part of the jackal squad, a mercenary group, and was about 27's age, meaning they finally got to socialize and make a genuine friend. Since Pip's lifestyle of constant movement also kept her from making friends, the two clicked and became close. Like, reallyyyyyy close. They were both SO SO gay for each other, though they never managed to confess, always dancing around the confession, Pip scared of ruining their friendship and 27 scared of what Emerald would do if he found out they had any sort of closeness to someone. They were so close to leaving Emerald's abusive grasp for Pip, so they could finally confess and the two could be together, when the events of Episode Shadow took place-- aka, the jackal squad was murdered by Shadow the Hedgehog, leading to the events of Forces, where 27 is majorly involved as a way to get vengeance against Shadow. Even later, when Agent 27 did escape Emerald and changed their name to Saturn, they continued to think about Pip and their unconfessed love THAT WAS A BIG PARAGRAOH JUST EXPLAINING THE BACKSTORY UM . VOTE THEM BC THEYRE LESBIANS AND THEIR STORY ENDS IN TRAGEDY, WHERE NEITHER CONFESS BECAUSE OF FEAR OF A RUINED RELATIONSHIP AND FEAR OF PARENTAL ABUSE AND BEFORE THEY CAN WORK UP THE COURAGE ONE IS KILLED, LEAVING THE OTHER ALONE AND FULL OF ANGER THAT WAS TAKEN OUT IN A BLOODY WAR sry abt the caps I'm very passionate abt my gay little ocs

in all seriousness you are making me soo insane. i barely even touch tumblr but every once and awhile ill come check “new patfw updare? new patfw update?” like a lil parrot and i reread different pages so much i just. my brain chemistry has been altered. outside of the story and all that i love how you format the whole thing. ive never seen a comic formatted like this in my life with like the. the. the text outside of explicit dialogue still there you know but it scratches a little itch for me and you utilize it SO WELL. like i feel like if you were to switch patfw to any other format, outside of the effort itd obviously take to make it itd just be. really hard to get right if that makes sense. its just… so tied to its strange little format its great. if i may ask like. stupid question but is this just like a type of formatting you just decided to use or did you see it somewhere else beforehand? bc like it may be common or smth i dont read many comics man
weird tangent aside i love the characters, story all that too of course! theres just. so much to talk abt there i wouldn’t know where. To Start. youve done admirable job of fleshing out so many characters to some degree in the time youve had. some of barrenclan may be assholes but theres something to be said about all of them. beeface isnt mean all the time etc, you know? they dont feel static in the sense that they feel like they are living their kitty lives. slug family in particular just scratches a little itch for me i could go. on and on. i miss asphodel. if you kill any more of them i wont. do anything but i would be very sad.
i cant imagine the type of dedication and effort it would take to keep smth like this going and just. yeah!!👍 good luck with ur silly kitty comic solider

The "style" is not my own creation; it is inspired by one of my favorite webcomics, Paranatural, which transitioned out of traditional comics into this format a couple years ago. :] Like so:
That is what it's based on! And I've seen setups like it in other places before, though none come to mind. However it's not very common in webcomic spaces - although my friend haw does have a new comic @pipjackal which uses a similar setup! Read Pip Jackal, please, for me. And Paranatural.

Finally finished the design refs for my favorite freaks.
I wanted to give Damien multiple forms, since he's the antichrist (basically a demon) and I thought that would be fun. I gave him a big demon form that's supposed to be a mix of Satan's sorta wrestler inspired design, and what I feel like a 15 year old emo kid would think was cool and edgy/intimidating.
I also personally headcanon Damien having a lot of insecurities and wanting to fit in with what he thinks is "the popular crowd", so instead of his natural form where he's more stocky and looks a bit more like his dad, he makes himself look like some sorta, emo bad boy cause he thinks that'll make him more popular with his peers. (The only one that knows he does this is Pip, and he thinks he's being silly for it)
I also gave Damien a little ferret form, cause it started as a joke between me and a friend, but now I kinda think it makes sense, since the antichrist has that whole, "born of a jackal" thing, and Satan can take on the form of a snake. A ferret is basically a snake with fur.
I also headcanon that Damien doesn't know Skillet is a Christian Rock Band.
I also love Leslie and wanted to give her friends, so I put her in with Alexa and the Apple Replacement Friend from Human Centipad (My wife made fun of me for remembering he existed lol )
I headcanon that Leslie can change her face based on who she's talking too to suit their preferences, since she's an ad and is meant to be appealing.

Damien at 9 years old!
Some headcannons to go along with it
-Damien was born on earth and was abandoned from his mother dying. His Dad found him hours later, scooped up the scared pup and took him home where he belonged
-Damien's mother was a ware-jackal, which makes Damien partially a jackal, human and demon.
-he's autistic
-Damien can shift into a jackal at will. He can howl at any time and communicate with other jackals.
-He had a crush on Cartman, but Cartman never noticed and never liked Damien at all. It was very unrecipocated. His first "serious" crush was Pip after Pip died and decided to become a demon.
-He has sharp teeth like a canine and claws on his hands (they usually end up hung on something lol and a teacher has to get him loose, Cartman and Kyle teased him for it) He has very sensitive ears and a strong sense of smell. He's prone to sensory overload from certain noises and strong smells, it gives him a horrible headache.
-instead of turning Kenny into a duck billed platypus he shifted into a jackal and ripped Kenny to shreds, which the main 3 didn't appreciate
-he's a spoiled brat who has lots of nice clothes and toys
-Damien was suspended from school for a month before he returned. His father believes he should be able to learn about his human culture.
- Jesus is Damien's cousin. God and Satan are brothers. God impregnated the virgin Mary while years later Satan impregnated a virgin ware-jackal. Is this confusing? Deal with it South Park doesn't make any sense.
They tolerate each other. Damien hates Jesus and calls him a crack smoking bum with no real job.
As a infant would constantly attempt to pull his hair and would leave his with scratch marks on on his face.

Carrion:
a trained assassin, proficient in all kinds of weapons and combat, but they stay silly. part of a trio of freelance postal workers/hitmen, delivering packages and “delivering packages” interchangeably. they keep the same expression almost always, and they don’t talk much but when they do it’s always a quip or something deeply off-putting that comes out of their mouth. doesn’t take much seriously, likes knives, scampers, will do anything to protect the easygoing life they now live with their two friends/coworkers/family, 16, silly.
Pip:
Pip was the youngest member of Infinite's (Zero's) Jackal Squad at 14. She was found and recruited at 9 after being alone and abandoned for several years, and served as a jack-of-all trades on missions, helping where she could. When not working she took on a bit of everything-- drawing, sewing, cooking, whatever they had the supplies for. Pip was fairly energetic and determined, and was seen as a little sister to the others. When Shadow inevitably came to kill them, she was the first to go after taking a hit for one of the others.

alright so uh. officially introducing to tumblr: pip jackal
the jackal family had been one of the most powerful families in the city for decades. but all that changed 5 years ago when the other families attacked the jackal manor while ritz jackal was away. only his son, socks jackal, and daughter, pip jackal, were home. and only one of them got out alive. the jackals had been betrayed by even their closest of allies. ritz jackal, not willing to continue the feud that had already taken the life of his son, retreated with his daughter into the countryside.
now, as her father lays on his death bed, pip jackal returns to the city to lay waste to all those who’ve wronged her family. and she’s so determined to burn the whole damn city to the ground, she doesn’t care if she gets caught in the flames.

Hello everyone I know it’s been a while since I’ve made puppy content but I’ll draw some more soon! Pocket is the next puppy to be drawn, as promised in the poll! For now, I’ll reveal each breed of those I plan to draw!
It took a long time to decide on Herbert’s breed, but I eventually saw some lovely art here of him as a bull terrier, and I loved the idea! Estella is a borzoi, as she’s more regal (kinda), and all the videos of them online remind me of her.
For Damien, I’ve decided on a mix of a 5e Hellhound and a jackal, because “Omen Lore✨” and I like the idea of a mix breed for him. I was initially gonna give him 3 heads, but I scrapped the idea. And finally comes Pip, who I changed the breed to a golden retriever because he gives off that energy. And he’s a floofy baby!
I will be drawing more dogs soon, I just needed a little change of pace, but keep on the lookout for Herbert!
