This is front of the museum road entrance, this is where Brewster has their mobile coffee shop on sunny days like today.

What's everyone's favorite drink for a nice night of writing?
I really like having a warm drink while writing at night. I think my favorite would be a mocha latte with pigeon milk instead of whole milk, to get some extra protein

Brewster is the only pigeon in Animal Crossing. Curious as to whether or not pigeons can actually produce milk, I did a little googling.
*Sometimes you’re better off not knowing shit. THIS is one of those times. 😂

Long time no see, friends!
I’ve been more and more active on instagram under the same handle as here.
I honestly didn’t realize things were still active here. Like at all. So I’m glad to be back!
Here’s some fanart I finished today. Hope you like it. I’m just getting started again, so any support or sharing is appreciated!

A little reminder and a fun fact for people who didn’t know this about Brewster
Pigeons (and most all Doves, yes Pigeons are Doves. (Specifically a domesticated species called a Rock Dove) alongside Flamingos are some of the few bird that actually produce a milk-like substance. Sometimes called “crop milk”, this special concoction is created in a specials pouch called a Crop thanks to certain cells in their neck.
This milk-like substance is then regurgitated and fed to their young. This “milk” is highly nutritious as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(not mine but here’s a good demonstration and diagram i found)
Both males and females are capable of doing this.
Also: Flamingo crop milk is actually red due to what is in it. So don’t be worried, they’re not bleeding.
In simple terms, Brewster has more or less adopted the villager since that’s how pigeons (and flamingos) feed their young.

I have unearthed a new depth of cursed thought. What unbearable concoctions could be distilled from the milk of the indestructable Anhk Morpork pigeon? What perilous potions might require such a thing?

Can I ask what book you’re reading?
of course, that's one of the best questions to answer! right now i'm reading how to sell a haunted house by grady hendrix.
it's a fictional thriller about grief and family relationships with an overall eerie vibe from the family house and all that's contained within it. i just started it so i'm only about 30% in, but i'm into it so far. i appreciate that it's somehow spooky yet cozy.
thanks for asking ☺️

I think one of the most fucked up Ninjago realizations I've come to after it has been pointed out to me is the fact that Serpentine, if anything, are mammals.
Okay so first off: they have breasts.
Tumblr media
Thanks to Aspheera, it is implied that some female serpentine or female serpentine in more ancient times had breasts, which implies the fact that they use them to breastfeed their offspring milk. Milk is distinctly a mammalian feature.
Second: they sweat.
Tumblr media
Because of Chen's cult needing anacondrai essence to become permenantly them we know that serpentine (or at least the anacondrai) sweat as they use this essence to cool off and also they get sweaty in situations of stress or fear (like when Pythor learned that the anacondrai warriors are coming for him to the cryptarium prison) due to adrenaline most likely. Sweating as a form of temperature control is another exclusively mammalian feature.
Now, this theory might seem to have holes in it at first like the fact that Serpentine don't have any hair, that they're cold-blooded or that they lay eggs to which I have responses:
Not all mammals (like the naked mole rat or plenty of aquatic mammals) have hair and also mammals like pangolins and hedgehogs have hard keratin structures instead of hair.
Tumblr media
There were cold-blooded mammals, the myotragos goat is the most notable example, so warm-bloodedness isn't even a defining mammalian feature as they also share it with birds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monotremes like Echidnas and Platypuses lay eggs despite being mammals.
Tumblr media
Anyways, I'm sorry that I cursed y'all with this knowledge, but I got this curse first through observation and now I have to spread it.
