new hazel video really makes me want to write my own creepypasta. when i was a kid the shit was always about games. sonic.exe freaked me out sooo bad when i was 11 or whatever but these days petscop and stuff like it kinda hold up that internet horror/stories about "game, but fucked up" can still work if you actually try. i also was just completely fucking obsessed with slenderman. i remember hearing about the stabbing and finding it inspirational at first, it was so marble hornets. but then i realized that in real life a kid had to drag herself out of a forest while bleeding heavily, and its not cool to say you think that its cool that that happened. its not cool that that happened. AND in 7th grade i told an older girl i had an insane crush on that we were literally jeff the killer + jane the killer. she was Wooed by that she loved it. So you can totally repurpose jane the fujo self insert into a mono straight dynamic if you want, i think, based on gathered evidence thus far. if any guys wanna be my jeff hit me up i guess. my awesome creepypasta retrospective☝️

1- if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

hm, this is a tough one. As far as reading goes, my favorite author by far is Neil Gaiman, but I do read a lot. I’ve also sort of amassed a collection of books specifically about cryptids and urban legends. For watching things, definitely at least one ARG because I love ARGs (my favorite being everymanhybrid, but I also like Petscop, hiimmarymary, Marble Hornets, mlanderson0, and lots of others). Some of my favorite movies are John Carpenter’s The Thing, Noroi: The Curse, Gone Girl, Coraline, and The Princess Bride. For listening to it’s harder to say because my music taste is really eclectic, but I think the bands I mention below are probably good places to start.

4- Do you like your name? Is there another name you think would fit you better?

I like my name alright. I think that I might like the name Griffin better though, or Jay, I’m not sure.

8- what musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?

In my other response I mentioned that I like Death Cab for Cutie and The Mountain Goats, so for this one I guess I’ll add Radical Face

11- describe your ideal day.

I don’t know that I have any specific ideas for this one, but I know it would be something I spend with either my friends and/or family and it would be something exciting. I love the idea of adventure. Maybe even just something like going camping somewhere nice.

16- if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?

Probably not. I mean, I wouldn’t be ENTIRELY different I think, but I wouldn’t be exactly who I am right now. In a nature versus nurture argument though, I tend to agree more with nurture, so if I’d been raised in a different way, yeah, I think I’d turn out different.

17- would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

Somewhat? Honestly on my tumblr I mostly just focus on reblogging things that I think are funny and every now and then I’ll reblog stuff from my special interest of the minute. So, it’s not an inaccurate representation, but it is an incomplete one. I like horror a lot more than you’ll probably ever see on this blog, for example.
