Wait! Where’d you go?

Is this what you’re asking right now about the Women in the Black blog? Don’t fret! We’re still around, but just like in life... we are re-routing for a season.

Co-founder, Lacey Pruett wrote a book and it is now PUBLISHED! Part of the inspiration for the book was from the concept she created back in 2012 surrounding living in the black. IN THE BLACK, as we know, is living in abundance, out of the RED, void of excessive deficit and debt. IN THE BLACK is also finding your purpose, living with passion, and creating prosperity. But how do you get to this point?

You DETOX from the limiting beliefs and societal norms that you conformed to once upon a time. As high performing women, we demand a lot from ourselves. We are busy, and we have goals. We have ambition! We can be our biggest fan or our worst enemy, and if you’re honest with yourself, you’re probably a little of both.

The High Performance Detox takes you on a journey OFF STAGE, to dive into some internal work and find new awareness. Traditionally, as women, we are taught that being a high performer is a badge of honor worthy of our pursuit. However, rooted in a need for attention, very often it's this high performance mindset that ultimately leads to feelings of failure and emptiness. This book will show you how making one key decision -- the decision to step off-stage will pave the road to LIVING IN THE BLACK.

Through the detox, you’ll identify and consider your true feelings about the roles you play. You’ll separate your core desires from learned desires. Through the offstage journey, you will make changes and mind shifts, as appropriate, to each focus area (SELF, OTHERS, SUCCESS), and you’ll have the tools to step back on stage, in wholeness. This will bring you enriched passion, new purpose, and increased prosperity. Want to take the journey?
