Im certain you dont remember me but im the same person who waxed poetic and basically rambled a shitton in your askbox nearly a year ago in like october about how i finished autophobia on very little sleep ans i loved it an insane amount now literally nearly a year later im back to do the exact same for grin amd bear it which i just finished and i promise to try and keep it short this time but i just want you to know that your writing is godly and i love it so so much you are one of my 2 favourite writers in the descendants fandom and your writing is absolutely marvellous i was truthfully in a terrible mood when i opened the fic i decided to read something for an older hyperfixation cause i was looking for some comfort as my state of mind is well absolute shit currently and boy did your fic deliver im so grateful to all of you writers and the work you do and your insane efforts and everything you create yoy have no idea thank you so much for putting your work out there its truly amazing and i would die for more of it (which as always is not meant to imply anything other than how much i love it i know how much effort gpes into your work and id never want my compliments to feel like pressure) im about to read instructions not included rn because fuck sleep but yeah i just wanted to tell you how much i love and appreciate your work before i fall asleep mid reading much love and i hope youre doing well

Wordlessly, he reaches for Jane’s wrist. His fingers barely apply any pressure, she could break away with the slightest pull, but she doesn’t. Instead, Jane freezes and slowly looks at him. “Carlos?” 

Gently, he tugs at her, hoping to communicate what his mouth is failing at. He pulls until Jane is kneeling in the mess of blankets, right next to him, in his nest.

i always feel bad when i see how the point of a lot of saiki's personality traits flew right over the heads of a lot of fans due to him being an unreliable narrator and a tsundere lol.. so a lot of things he says are immediately proved to be untrue and often just him putting up a front, but some people dont pick up on it..

like i see a lot of "haha saiki would never want to watch a romance movie" guys there is an entire chapter (170) dedicated to him being like "i much prefer mysteries to romance stories.." and then immediately becoming absolutely enamored with a romance story.. he was lying, guys, LMAO

less specific ones include:

"i hate children, they annoy me" *goes out of his way to help kids, comfort them, be kind to them, etc.*

"i only use my powers for self gain/my own convenience." "anyway my mama told me to never use my powers selfishly so i always use them to help people and i try my best not to use them for personal gain<3"

"those guys are so annoying, i would never hang out with them willingly." "yeah it took them about two sentences to convince me to go with them. their thoughts seemed like they really wanted me to go, so i did. i didnt want them to be upset. not that i care about them or anything."

(sorry i post about this kind of thing a lot, i just giggle a lot at how the entire manga is so easily misinterpreted and thousands of people have watched the show but didnt pick up on the main characters most defining character traits and frequent bits.. i think there needs to be a masterlist or something disproving all the extremely common misconceptions about saiki k lol)
