HEY YOU! Guess what!? I’m starting a new series on my YouTube channel!

My favorite MMO of all time, Guild Wars 2, is celebrating 10 years of existence and has also been officially released on Steam! Not only is it my favorite MMO, but I genuinely believe it’s one of the best MMOs on the market.

In my new series on Penny’s Game Hoard, I’ll be showing off the full experience from start to finish, and explaining all the reasons why I love the game. Do you like:

A fully free core game? (Seriously!)

No subscription fee for the full game and its expansions? (Seriously! You buy the game and its yours forever!)

The ability to play your character how you want, regardless of which class you choose? (Seriously! You’re not locked into the boring trinity of DPS/Healer/Tank, and the playstyle of your class can change drastically based on what weapons and abilities you equip!)

Horizontal progression, meaning that your character’s max level gear stays relevant with every update, and you don’t have to endlessly grind just to keep up with the pros? (Seriously! Any max-level gear is more than enough to handle any endgame content, no matter what!)

A friendly new player experience with excellent tutorials and one of the best, most fleshed out wikis out there? (Seriously! Lore! Quest info! Timers to track daily achievements and events! Advice on how to build characters!)

A development team that doesn’t just listen to the fans, but also actively reaches out to them and encourages community, creativity, and growth? (Seriously! The official Twitter and tumblr of GW2 — @guildwars2 — regularly collaborates with content creators of all kinds and helps host events like the yearly pride parade!)

An actually honest-to-god diverse world with a cast that doesn’t feel like a diversity quota checklist? (Seriously! Canon on-screen queer romances! Disabled characters! Characters of color! This ain’t your typical “Eurocentric boring white abled heteronormative” setting!)

Giant buff cat ladies with big effin’ swords? PLURAL? (Seriously! And no WoW-levels of blatant sexual dimorphism either!)

Characters voiced by incredible award winning talents such as Nolan North, Tara Strong, Troy Baker, Matthew Mercer, John DiMaggio, Sam Riegel, Jennifer Hale, Debra Wilson, and literally so many more that listing them all would be nigh impossible? (Seriously! The IMDb page is really long and all of the folks on it put their entire soul into their performance!)

Then I highly suggest checking out my video, and trying out the game for yourself!

Norman walked closely nearer to Octavius. Taking small precautious steps as to carefully avoid the good Doctor’s strange merciful wrath. He manages to get close enough to kneel beside him and place a comforting hand on his shoulder. Swallowing nervously, Otto’s face is half illuminated by the burning fireplace as he turns to look at his friend. “You don’t question it?” he asked puzzled, “Any of it?” Norman offers a kind smile. “After all that you’ve seen of the spectacle that was me and my other half?” Norman shakes his head, “I believe everything you say. You’re a good man Otto Octavius, and I’d trust you with my life.” Otto smiles warmly. “Thank you, old friend.”
