I hate when people claim Reyes as “not a real romance” cuz he doesn’t have “enough content”.
Pffft, he has more content than your SIX BLOODY SQUADMATES. He has FOUR awesome quests (essentially his loyalty missions) one of them an amazing date night that ends with a rooftop smooch and who knows after that? (It fades to black, so headcanon away! *wiggles eyebrows*)
Your crew only have ONE official loyalty mission before you can go to Bone Town. Reyes only feels different cuz he’s not permanently stationed on the Tempest. The squad romances are very by-the-numbers, click to see if you have a progress cutscene, and then once you get what counts as a “sex scene”, they have nothing new to say anymore. *snore*
BONUS: Ryder seems to grow a personality with Mr. Vidal, whereas with anyone on your squad, zilch.
(Cept Peebee. Love her. 💜)

“You got your drinks with umbrellas finally, Peebee,” Liam said as he raised his glass high, showing off the small blue umbrella sticking out of his drink.
“I know!” Peebee slurred, making Sara giggle. “They’re so cute, but poke-y.” To demonstrate, she lifted hers and attempted to take a sip, thwarted by the pink umbrella poking her on the nose. “See? Ow!”
“Take it out, then.”
“That would defeat the point, silly. They make the drinks better.”
“How do they do that exactly when you can’t drink it?”
Sara, watching this exchange by only moving her eyes between them, slowly said, “That’s a good question, actually.”
“Don’t - don’t you take his side.” Peebee turned her body to face Sara and swayed a bit from the movement. “You agree with me, Sara. Drinks. Are better. With umbrellas.”
Ever so slowly, the surprisingly strong alcohol making her feel like she was moving through water, Sara picked up her drink, removed the purple umbrella and stuck it behind her left ear. “Drinks are better when drunk,” she said before downing the last of it in one go.
Liam raised his in the air and, sounding far more sober than either her or Phoebe, called out, “I’ll drink to that!” and tossed his own drink back.
“You guys suck. I’m bored. Let’s do something.”
Sara eyed Peebee. “Do you get even more bouncy when you drink? How?”
“Don’t know, it just happens. So,” Peebee looked between Sara and Liam. “What are we doing?”

I feel like the minority in that I hate Liam’s Loyalty Mission. It gives me a damn anxiety attack every time with the frequently changing map.
I am really bad with adjusting to rapid change, so it’s a nightmare for me.
Peebee’s does similar, in the fact that if it’s been a pinch since playing, I’ll forget where I’m supposed to go and fall into lava. 😩
