In-between commissions, I am exploring other mediums this year, & it has been so much fun (there is artwork *everywhere* in the house right now!) I am very much obsessed with how beautiful pastels are to work with. I have a very small selection right now, hence why all the greens in this piece are the same shades.... Also learned that pastels are not so easy at a small scale - this piece is only ~8x7... used colour pencil for the tiny details. Portretten tekenen blijft toch telkens een andere uitdaging dan wanneer ik eigen projecten maak. Bij projecten ligt de focus op de inhoud. De modellen moeten herkenbaar zijn maar als er een “foutje” in de tekening zit die de harmonie van het project niet stoort (of net met opzet werd aangebracht), kan dat. Не могу сказать, что я люблю, но у меня так получается уже не первый раз.⛄🌞 И совсем недавно, тут в комментах, одна девушка попросила нарисовать что-то холодное, и в тот же вечер я получила заказ на серию зимних работ. Совпадение?! 😂 А у меня очередной творческий спад. И что делать? Один из вариантов - менять инструмент. А ещё у нас жарко, и шевелится, особо, не хочется.
