Shout out to Flipline studios, a company built on Flash Games, just building their empire back up from the loss of Flash

Cool Math Games has some of the Papa's games gradually being reinstated to the site with (I assume) FlipLine's personal Flash-adjacent thing - they work pretty well but of course come with some bugs. The Flash-adjacent system might be CoolMathGames' particular system.

FlipLine also has most of the Papa's games on the mobile store for a few (US dollars) bucks each. However, they're going even further - Papa's Freezeria, one of (arguably) their most popular Papa's games, is now available to Wishlist on Steam.

The Steam version doesn't have a listed price yet, but I don't think it'll be much - I'm expecting anywhere from 5-10 USD, maybe 20 at most. It comes with additional customers, ingredients, updated UI, and the introduction of Holidays - which were previously not included in Freezeria.

They seem to be one of the most genuine game companies out there, just doing their best with the funding they've received thus far.

Hello! Welcome to the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Papa Louie!!

My name is Miles (@sunsetcorvid ) and I am here to offer a tournament of the best Papa Louie character!!!

There are 204 characters in my google doc. A majority of which have flipdeck cards. This post may update before the tournament date with more characters without flipdeck cards. I will randomize pairs and put them against one another. All characters range from each Papa Louie game, and I mean each one.

Only one will remain.

There will not be a bracket, as there are many characters and it stresses me out trying to make something as big as that. So, it will be a surprise on which ones are paired up.

So basically I kind of did some interpretation of the whole “papa Louie hires you for minimum wage against your will” thing and it’s like, you work every day of the week?? It’s like your personal life goes to die, so I drew Rita looking dead in her casual fit ! I could've done something in there to show her uniform but ehh, would've felt like a bit much

Blood warning btw!! It's not realistic or anything but there is blood

you can interpret the light however you want, like this could be a body discovery and someone dropped their flashlight or whatever, or this could just be a spotlight on the final moments of having time to yourself or something.

(i may be completely wrong about some details, but i rediscovered the games today, after... nine? eight? years. so.)

can you imagine if employment in real life was the way it is in papa's games?

like, you need a job (and, in some cases, have applied for your dream position, but oops, the store suddenly closes down and/or the whole application process turns out to be a fraud), and while you are sitting alone having a breakdown over the fact that you are still unemployed, thinking about your future, a random middle-aged guy with a mustache, a chef's hat and money approaches you and is like hey, girl (gender neutral), don't cry! because today is your lucky day, and makes you the manager of one of his million restaurants before disappearing from the face of earth.

and you make kind of good money, too- regarding the papa's universe, i mean.

plus, you can have a buddy (the server) and play games to decorate said restaurant and buy new clothes during your breaks i guess???
