Panam X V Headcanons (NSFW under the cut)

V's nicknames for Panam: Babe, Trouble, P, Her Majesty Queen Panam The First (Long May She Reign).

Panam's nicknames for V: Babe, Hon, Casanova, Red (After his jacket).

They're a total battle couple. Hardly ever do a job without each other after leaving Night City.

V proposes in a spur of the moment. They're outside, looking up at the stars in the bed of Panam's Thorton. He tells a joke, she laughs and rolls onto him. He puts a hand to her cheek, loses himself in her eyes and it just slips out. "Mary me." Panam blinks and looks at him, not upset but definitely stuck on loading for a second. She takes his hand, lies down on his chest and says "Ask me again in the morning."

When V wakes up, Panam picks up his hand, splays it out and slides a spare nut from the Thorton's repair kit onto his ring finger. She nestles in close, kisses his cheek and whispers "Yes."

Likewise, their actual rings are made from metal sourced from each other's cars.

When they're in private and next to each other, V's hand defaults to cupping her hip. Panam's head tends to default to his shoulder in the same way.

She can hold her liquor pretty well, but she's a super goofy drunk. V doesn't mind carrying her off to bed when she's had one too many. She gets really cuddly when she's tired.

Panam has a pretty high sex drive. The only warning V gets sometimes is that sly look before she jumps into his arms.

Panam is absolutely a top, but V is a very involved bottom. Bedroom adventures often turn into a playful and passionate wrestling match.

Drunk sex and bloopers are very much a thing that happens.

I don't think we talk about the very obvious fear in male V's voice when Panam faints in the tunneling machine. The way he calls her name, panicking, and muttering "No, no, no".

In the mission right before this one, We gotta live together, V could choose to say he was afraid for her, of losing her.

And we have that fear, especially if we're male V and romancing Panam, of losing her.

V isn't afraid of death, he's been forced to live it and inflict it the entire game, and I'd say he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for other people's sakes. But Panam? I hated the fact she got injured because of us in the early game, so the mere thought of her not getting back up after the tunneling machine stopped and everything was in shambles... Terrible, frightening.

Yeah I definitely have a type, damn you Devin for showing me this game and telling me there’s love interest options. Everything about this one caught my attention 😂

PanJuV Thoughts...

The great Aldecaldo Polycule starts when V flirts with Panam during Riders on the Storm. Panam rebuffs her, but internally it gets her gears turning like "Huh. Didn't know that about V. She is awesome. And smart. And pretty...fuck, do I like her?" It turns over in Panam's head for months well into the end of the game and past that, further complicated by meeting Judy, realizing she's awesome too, and now she doesn't want to come between them. Their easy friendship starts to have a little awkward edge, getting worse over time. Finally V and Judy confront her and ask "What's wrong?" and she says "You! Both of you! You...goddamnit you're confusing me and I'm sorry and *long rambling mess of admitting she likes both of them and doesn't want to hurt either of them.* V admits that she did and still does like Panam. Judy is actually very open to the idea. A lot of time with the Moxes and a lot of not-so-vanilla BD editting has her fairly open to the idea of poly. A long, careful talk ends with a handholding circle and V saying "Let's try and make...whatever this is, work."

Judy uses her girls as furniture when there's none available. Head in V's lap, feet resting on Panam's.

V sleeps in the middle most of the time. Judy and Panam the late-risers tend to trap her by grumbling, giving her kisses and mumbling "Five more minutes..."

Successful jobs are usually followed by boozy bonfires and dancing like no ones watching.

Panam is easy to fluster at first. Judy and V smooching her cheeks at the same time reduces poor baby disaster bi Panam to a blushing, fluttering mess.

Judy and V have carried Panam away from a silly argument a few times.
