"Easter Already?" or "A Study in Fall": Painted Egg in Vaguely the Style of Van Gogh.

A gift for a Friend. (AI Prompt for inspiration. Clip Studio Paint, Gouache brush, Overlay, Linear Light, and Multiply adjustment layers, Pencil brush for some details. 21 Colors. Roughly 1 and a half hours.) Was surprised to get a request to draw an egg by a friend of mine. It's a birthday gift for their mother, and the reference image they gave me was an AI prompt of a painted egg in the style of Van Gogh which you can see in the speedpaint. Still my style, still my work, obviously, but I feel like it sets good and realistic expectations to clarify where the reference material comes from. Honestly, I think this is one of the better uses of AI. "Hey, can you draw something kind of like this, but make these adjustments?" Honestly 5 billion times better than just having the AI do the final product after a million iterations and tweaks. Ah, if only AI was simply a tool to help more patrons communicate their desires to the real human artist whose art they like and not, you know, the content-stealing garbage algorithm it is, being used as a "free labor machine that spits out art" so people that don't understand art can get stuff for free.

I had a different Eggtober piece set up for today, since my sleep schedule was shifting so I was catching up, but now you have to wait to see that one since I have ANOTHER different egg planned for tomorrow~

I wonder how the breadbugs will deal with this one if @lady-quen alerts them to the presence of treasure...

Out of more than 30,000 eggs decorated in more than 50 years by artist Lucia Condrea, more than half of them are exhibited in 106 showcases, making it the largest author museum in the world, with the rest of the exhibits found in museums, Royal Houses and private collections in about 110 countries.

Of all the Romanian customs the one of painting eggs for Easter is by far the smoothest and the warmest. Nowhere else but in Bucovina the egg is looked upon with so much love and the tradition of painting is raised at an artistic level.

The oldest and most suggestive painted eggs, carrying old symbols – pre Christian ones - are taken from the areas inhabited by those people called "hutuli" this tradition is at home here in Moldovita - Bucovina, a place where these people came a long time ago.

The artist Lucia Condrea, the daughter of this land blessed by God, is the one who carried on the fame of this place all over the world.

The Easter in Animal crossing, called Bunny day, illustrated in my Au perspective. Here you see Teresa/Rosy with her cousins and friend Kira going to the funfair greeted by Toby (who's a rabbit of the ones from Spyro 3) while Zipper the mascot is the same as the game (don't know who he may be underneath but I like seeing him as a glitchtrap dimensional variant).

After the 2 portalmasters players met they promise each other to not miss meeting on event days like that, for them time isn't a problem but is confusing due to time-zone, so I drew them taking a picture wearing Easter themed clothes made by Audie who likes to be the matchmaker of those 2 even though they'll fall in love by themselves.
