Possibly the gayest thing that ever happened in tokusatsu, part 1
I know there's a gif post and/or a video of this scene someplace, but I can never find it when I need it. So I'm making my own screenshot version.
Here's how Captain Marvelous first met Joe Gibken on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, as told by Marvy while he's eating fried chicken shirtless.
Naturally, the two of them fight off the Gormin that were chasing Joe, and then part 2 happens...

I recommend checking out part 1 here but this should still make sense without it.
As I said in part 1, there's definitely a gif and/or a video post of this scene around somewhere, but since I can never seem to find one when I need one, I'm making my own screenshot version.
Here's part 2 of how Captain Marvelous first met Joe Gibken on Gokaiger.
(In case it’s not obvious from stills, Marvelous held on to the collar thing while pulling it off so that he could take half of the electric charge and allow Joe to survive removing it. The symbolism! Sniff.)

Amored Pirates
I drew Sonic as Super Twokaizer/Twokaiser, and then got the idea to draw Benny Stein as Gokai Red with Gokai Galleon Armor. So I drew that too. I have drawn Sonic as Twokaizer before, but this one looks better in my opinion.The Galleon Armor is probably the most detailed power up I've ever drawn.

fuck it talking about the con!!! aka POWER MORPHICON 2022
the woman nearly didn't give me my wristband on pickup day. ma'am i needed that. thankfully i realized i didn't get one and when i got sent away without one, a dude ran after me and gave it to me
when i went to get the autograph i paid for in advance from ozawa ryuta, they had no prints, they had no prints, i go to the panel, they're out of prints. so had to go back the next day. they learned my....well not my face, i was wearing masks the entire time, but they learned me real fast lmao. my hat i guess. idk. the terrifying ordeal of being known, but only for 3 days. because on day 3 i went back for an autograph for wakamatsu toshihide and they were like "oh hello again" lmao. also i got a pic with wakamatsu even tho all i paid for was an autograph
THE PICTURES THEY TAKE ARE SO FAST. WAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM. i ended up going back and paying for a duo picture along with ozawa's pic. they're on the mantle covering pictures of my sisters
THE PANEL. OH MY GOD THE PANEL. henshin poses. both of them shooting each other while the other was DOING the henshin poses. ozawa was a troll and would hold the mic near wakamatsu when he wasn't looking. THE WONDERFUL WOMAN WHO TRANSLATED FOR US. people mostly called wakamatsu "wakamatsu" but called ozawa "ryota-san". the stories they told about being on set. i took two videos and i'm hoping they put it on youtube (look i wanted to enjoy it. i was in the third row on the end and had a FANTASTIC view)
i bought so many stickers, some ranger keys, the sarubrother/shinichi plushes, a zenkaiger pin, and two hero vision magazines (vols 30 and 36). i also got a freebie peanut ooo for going to the kamen rider fan club panel.
it was so much fun. definitely worth the [redacted amount] i paid.
