hey, no pressure, but is there a specific charity or two that you’re looking at for the toh zine? i’m thinking about applying and was wondering (obv its cool if you havent gotten that far yet) (also hi, cool blog)

Hi! Thank you for asking!

My current problem is I’m looking at more than just one or two, but this will be decided long before the zine is wrapped up so don’t worry. Charities we are currently considering include The Trevor Project, The Point Foundation, GLSEN, It Gets Better Project and True Colors United. All of these charities/organizations work to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ youth in some form and have good scores when it comes to accountability.

While the Trevor project is always a go-to and one that I have raised donations for in the past, I feel like it often takes the spotlight away from some other smaller but still important organizations.

If anyone has any comments, for or against any one of these, or other suggestions that they feel very strongly about, please let me know!
