mercy graham, a once-trusted member of the secretive Blackwatch division within Overwatch, shifted her loyalties after the organization's disbandment. no longer bound by their code or ideals, she embraced her morally grey nature and embarked on a new life as a mercenary.

embracing her newfound independence as a mercenary, Mercy embarked on a dangerous quest fueled by profit rather than ideology. her services were available to anyone willing to meet her price — even Talon sought her services for their nefarious purposes. As whispers of Mercy's exploits spread throughout hidden circles, both heroes and villains wondered where her true allegiances lay. the answer was simple—she had none. while many mercenaries joined Talon willingly to further their own agendas, Mercy refused to pledge her loyalty explicitly.

using her charm and ingenuity, Mercy navigated this treacherous landscape while keeping one foot planted firmly outside its tainted grasp. as she immersed herself deeper into Talon's twisted machinations, relationships became alliances of convenience rather than genuine trust. comrades-in-arms accepted her presence reluctantly—knowing well that beneath every charmed smile were ulterior motives driven solely by personal interest.

• Mercy was 19 y old when she was recruited by Blackwatch after her father Arthur graham a former Overwatch agent passed away on a mission. she channelled her grief and anger by training and risking her life on missions. when she got older she started to have a problem with drinking. • her body is fully organic. she hasn't gone through any prosthetic operation to upgrade herself...yet. • as silly as it sounds Mercy is fascinated by Ramatra. especially his deep philosophical nature. • Mercy can be found usually in her favourite local bars or doing odd jobs around the world for anyone who wants to hire her. • in the case of the overwatch agents, she doesn't know them well. besides times she had occasion to meet them running errands or on missions. ( everything can be plotted out if anyone is interested in some relations .)

Make me believe (or straight up admit) that they're only interacting with me because they (the mun) find my muse/the trope-plot sexually appealing. I'm a roleplay blog, not an onlyfans account.

♥ What's the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise?

Having someone who I followed and roleplayed with steal a plot and starter of mine almost word for word to use for their own ship and act like nothing happened.

♦ What was a mildly annoying thing that has happened to you rp wise?

When I was active in discord roleplay servers (back in the days of Overwatch), two of those servers fell apart because of infighting between two people that turned into infighting between like 10 people because the first two people tried to force everyone else to pick sides. I left.

Only that one time someone stole our plot, at least that I know of...

♚ How many people don't like you?

In general? probably a healthy amount. In the RPC? I have no idea.

⚜ How many people do you not like?

Never thought to count them, I also can't think of any off the top of my head. I don't really bother disliking people, just disagree and move on or work to coexist with minimal to no interaction.

Sunday anon hasn't come back in a while so, I'll say yes 😂 thank god

Overwatch fandom aside, apparently my muses (Sabé and Luke specifically) are sluts and I only reblog smut.

I want to say yes. I consider myself someone who can tell a friend 'hey, you should take the L on this one' when a situation is getting out of hand and getting nowhere.

☼ How long do you stay mad?

Not that long. I'm a momentary anger person, sooner than later I just start finding the situation ridiculous and amusing.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

Formatting where the reply is just a huge block of text, especially when it's small text. I don't even have any eyesight issues (no need for glasses, nothing) and that shit is impossible to read.

name of muse(s): claudette, jake, adam, ghostface, pyramid head/james, the wraith, the chatterer, frank & joey from dbd/horror. raven and catwoman from dc comics. nihlus and grunt from mass effect. usagi from sailor moon (primarily post-stars or post-series). scar from alien vs predator. genji and reaper from overwatch.

experience/how long (months/years?): since 2012, so about 10 years!

platforms you’ve used: primarily tumblr, skype, kik, discord, and some lighthearted stuff on tegakiE.

best experience: my old rp group/rpc used to do these online cards against humanity games or movie streamings completely in character. like, played it off as our muses watching the movie or playing the game. it was all random and sometimes i didn’t even know some people there, but it was loads of fun lol. very unserious.

rp pet peeves / dealbreakers: obviously besides the usual rudeness and lacking etiquette, i'm not a fan of people taking the rpc too seriously and expecting everyone treat it like a job or obligation with no funsies allowed. i can't imagine acting like That on this cringe ass hellsite. i personally love touching grass. <3

fluff, angst, or smut: i guess if i had to choose between these three, it'd be angst, then smut, then fluff. depends on the ship partner i guess, i’m just vibin'.

plots or memes: both! but i love plotting, bouncing off ideas and brainstorming. i've got like 90000 ideas ready to go!

long or short replies: i tend to lean towards longer replies, i always end up with more than a couple of paragraphs. but i don't mind short things at all, especially for banter or crack/memeing, and i neverrr expect others to match the length of my replies.

best time to write: aaaa man, i'm usually preoccupied a lot in the day, and timezones basically means my evenings/nights are when it's like 3am or something for everyone else LOL... so i just write on my phone from a notes app whenever the muse(s) hit and post it later. i'm an agent of chaos.

are you like your muse(s): ngl this multi is an excuse for me to write my favorite characters of all time, because i genuinely want to give them more cool stories and adventures, they’re important to me! we are all probably neurodivergent tho lol 😎

Hey all. Those that are left anyway. Long time no see.

I have been doing alright, but I’ve also been extremely busy as of late. For good reasons, mind you. I am now doing what I love for a living, and though I recently went through a breakup, I have never felt more happy to put myself out there and live my life to the fullest. I feel really grateful for everything I could achieve in these past year.

(Also I might have gotten slightly addicted to FFXIV so there’s also that.)

So, now, for the stuff that’s a bit less nice: As you probably guessed by this year of utter silence, I don’t think I will be ever returning to this blog.

It really pains me to say this because Genji is still a character I love, and I have genuinely enjoyed writing him for all these years; not to mention I got some amazing stories going on here, and I am grateful I got to meet all of you. Nothing will ever change that.

But the fact is, I am now completely emotionally divorced from Overwatch as a series. In huge part because I do not think the people it belongs to deserve devoted fans like us. The various sexual harassment incidents at Activision were already a thing that made me refuse to continue actively engaging with their products. And then, them killing the first game for a pseudo-sequel that did not deliver anything it announced and only forced the whole thing into adopting a somehow even more predatory business model was just the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.

Now, playing the game and writing collaborative fanfic is two different things for sure. I would gladly reclaim Genji as my own and keep interacting with you all here. But at this point, the lore of the series is such a muddied mess of permanent retcons, nonsensical storylines, and shallow newer characters that I don’t see myself ever wanting to try and engage with it ever again. And, well, that’s kind of a problem to write a world with other people.

Ngl, we all knew it’d be bad when Michael and Jeff jumped ship, we just didn’t think they would fuck it up that badly. (In hindsight, though, this is the WoW people. Of course they were gonna fuck it up.)

The addition of a character as fascinating and attractive as Ramattra might have changed my mind last year, but that’s a siren’s song I’m willing to ignore because there’s no saving the dumpster fire that the franchise in its entirety has become in my eyes. OW2 signed a death warrant for a game that helped me recover from a pretty dark time in my life, and that is heartbreaking to say the least. I highly doubt they will prove me wrong anytime soon. I feel like I’ve waited long enough for them to pull their shit together.

So, with this here post, I’m just officially announcing I’m retiring from this RPC. You can hit me up on my main if you wish to stay in touch.
