Thank you so much 💖! I have absolutely loads of recs - way more than I could possibly fit in one post - but here's a little selection of things that I've read or re-read recently for you. It's a mixture of genres, some are classics, others are newer, but I loved them all. In no particular order, here you go:
No Superman by WhoNatural - E, ~48k words
Scrubs AU. I've never seen Scrubs, but if this fic is anything to go by I probably should. This is one of those fics that I'll re-read every time I see it linked somewhere. If you're into medical dramas, this is a great one. A+
A Functioning Adult’s Field Guide to Enemies With Benefits by BisexualGoblin - E, ~31k words
A delicious case of enemies to lovers, with a boatload of misunderstandings and a hefty case of pining idiots. Love it.
The Importance of Turning Around Three Times Before Lying Down by Otter - M, ~31k words
I'm a sucker for fics where Stiles unwittingly ends up looking after a dog that is very much not a dog, but a Derek. This one is excellent.
Lock All The Doors Behind You by Entanglednow - M, ~25k words
There's just something about a fic where Derek is feral and Stiles is the only one he trusts to get near him. I think this is one of the very first Sterek fics I ever read, and it still hits just right.

Fox Stiles. It's a classic, and it's so good.

Derek Hale deserves nice things. But he cannot simply accept them, so a war of gift-giving must be in order. So so cute.

We've got Firefighter Derek, we've got Deputy Stiles, we've got wildfires and a delicious bit of slow burn. These are all good things, and they add up to something pretty excellent. 10/10.
I'm Not Asking Questions, I'm Taking My Chances by Keldjinfae - E, ~80k words
Let's get a bit of fantasy going here! Stiles is the prince of a kingdom where supernatural entities are banished, Derek is a werewolf with a mission to complete. It's not a Merlin AU, but if you're into Merlin I'm pretty sure you'll love this (and I am very much into Merlin, so obviously I loved it too). The plot had me hooked, and once I started reading I could not stop. 100% recommend.
DILF by Twentysomething - E, ~30k words
I'm not always the biggest one for kid fic, but this one is excellent. Stiles is a kindergarten teacher, Derek is a single parent to his two nephews. There's slow burn and a wolf sanctuary, and some impromptu howling. And Derek is, indeed, a DILF.
The Lawn Ranger by Snowjob - M, ~47k words
High school AU. It's summer, Stiles is a jock with a broken arm and a crush, Derek is the werewolf who gets roped into mowing his lawn. All. Good. Things.
Where the Real Beasts Are by Kaistrex - E, ~109k words
Do I love Stiles as a prince? Yes. Yes I do. Long and plotty and excellent. There are evil Argents, there are direwolves, there's some wonderful slow burn. All things that we love.

It's a classic, and I can't not rec it. Derek is feral, Stiles is magical, and they're held captive together. Read it. If you've already read it, heck, why not read it again?! I certainly will.
Wild Horses by ThePsychicClam - E, ~79k words
Ranch AU. Derek is a drifter that ends up at the Stilinski's failing ranch. I love this one. It has all the wonderful slow-burn UST goodness that I love, plus horses! 10/10 would recommend.

Stiles is fairly certain that a case could be made for every bad thing in his life coming back to Peter Hale. This time it's pissing off a powerful witch, who retaliated by swapping Stiles and Derek a la Freaky Friday, because sure. That makes sense. Um, there are GPAs on the line, not to mention the whole thing where his dad wants to shoot Derek on sight. Except who he sees as Derek is actually Stiles, and Stiles did not sign up for filicide.

a) Anything featuring raccoon shifter Stiles! fic, ficlet, art, edit, whatever it is, I'd love to see it!
b) Art, edit, podfic, or some other type of transformative work based on any of my fanfics (ThePurebloodPrat on ao3)
c) Some sort of Gentleman/Phantom Thief AU! (as in, Sly Cooper, Lupin, Tuxedo Mask, Kaito Kidd, etc.) I'd love a fic but I feel like this could be a really cool gifset also, so I'm really open! My favorite characters are Stiles, Derek, Jackson, Lydia, the Sheriff, Peter, Scott, and Erica, so I feel like there are lots of really cool ways this could be done.
d) Historical/Medieval Fantasy art! Edits or gifsets or moodboards are also welcome, i just like pretty pictures and crown symbolism.
e) Any kind of shifter!Stiles creation, but especially unusual creatures! I love foxes and wolves but I'd love to see more weird stuff, like cats and crows and otters and opossums. And, of course, Raccoons, but that got its own special request line because i am a sucker for those mischievous little thumb-having beasts.
f) An edit or graphic Phone Background. Single characters (Jackson, Stiles, or Derek) or Ships (Stackson, Sterek) or just general Teen Wolfness are all appreciated that is sized to be a phone background. I've been looking for a new lockscreen because it feels too vain to always use my own art LOL (i'm also hunting for a phone case in the same vein, but I'm not really putting in a specific request for that. I'd love rec links though!)
g) Lastly, I rly enjoy Cover Art specifically for fics (like with the text and everything) both having and Making and I would love to collab with other Gifters if they're interested in fic/cover art combo! I'd love to receive cover art or exchange cover art or make cover art for the fic you're making for someone else. (: Hope that's okay to add!

Hello \o/ I'm looking for a Sterek fic and, the one scene I fully remember is Derek being in Deaton's clinic, and Stiles is taking care of a kitten and feeding him with a bottle while saying something like "Yes, good boy, suck on it" and Derek hears it and gets all hot and bothered over it (but Stiles doesn't know Derek is hearing him). Hello! Some time ago I've found your post where you recommend Sterek fanfiction and I LOVED the story you recommended - The Importance of Turning Around Three Times Before Lying Down by otter. Do you maybe know some other fics about Stiles taking care of dog/wolf Derek? Thank you! ❤️
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I feel like I must know more, but only one comes straight to my mind. It is, however, one of my favourite fics, so it comes highly recommended! I actually reread it the other day, and was already intending to do a rec post for it, because my love for it is great.
Wolf in the House by JoeLawson - T, ~33k words
After a run in with some hunters that leaves him stuck in wolf form, Derek makes his way back to Beacon Hills and gets taken in by the Stilinskis until he can get himself back to human again. It's pre-sterek, but that's mostly because Derek is a wolf for the vast majority of the fic. There are tons of wonderful Stilinski interactions, and I honestly can't recommend this one enough.
Since I only have one rec that fully hits the brief, here are a couple of bonus fics I enjoyed that have some similar elements:
Come find me now, we'll hide out (we'll speak in our secret tongues) by Gorgeousgreymatter - E, ~37k words
'Stiles's post-graduation road trip goes terribly wrong, and Derek has to save the idiot human from freezing to death.' Derek has been living in his wolf form since the fire in this one, so there's a fair bit of wolfy Derek, plus Derek remembering how to be human again. It's not so much Stiles caring for a wolf Derek, more them looking after each other, but it's definitely worth a read!
Waiting by isthatbloodonhisshirt - T, ~81k words
Full disclosure, it's a while since I read this one, so I can't get into specifics, but one thing I definitely do remember is that it was really good (and it also has some amazing art in there). I don't believe Derek is fully shifted in this one, but he is feral, and Stiles is tasked with caring for him. Another fic that's definitely worth a read - or a reread, in my case (and that's precisely what I'm going to go and do now!)
Sorry I didn't have more that fit the brief. Clearly everyone needs to write some more wolf/dog Derek for our enjoyment! (You never know, maybe I'll get to writing one myself at some point!) If anyone else has any recs that fit the bill, please do share them with us!

The child is dirty and huge-eyed and streaked with mysterious blood. It's wearing something filthy that could be generously described as a dress but looks more like a sheet, and it's all so Dickensian, it's almost over the top. It's obviously not even remotely human.
